This group is just so wonderful. This is a beautiful example of why music plays such a large role in the happiness of so many people around the world. And with Tiffany Coburn we see someone who emotes the highest levels of talent with such a deep compassion for song. She is super and I love watching her perform.
To dream the impossible dream To fight the unbeatable foe To bear with unbearable sorrow To run where the brave dare not go To right the unrightable wrong To love pure and chaste from afar To try when your arms are too weary To reach the unreachable star This is my quest, to follow that star, No matter how hopeless, no matter how far To fight for the right without question or cause To be willing to march into hell for a heavenly cause And I know if I'll only be true to this glorious quest That my heart will lie peaceful and calm when I'm laid to my rest And the world will be better for this That one man scorned and covered with scars Still strove with his last ounce of courage To fight the unbeatable foe, to reach the unreachable star
What an amazing performance! It's incredible that each of the women have such different voices, but they find a way to blend multiple voices into homogenous harmonies! I was wondering if she was going to go up of down on that last note. So glad she hit that high note. She showed incredible breath control.
Marjorie Snyder I think the notes both of them sing at the end are generally considered as'high'( as they are sopranos) but since Tiffany is the soloist her ending(high) note is made to standout a bit more than Kate's even tho it may not be higher.
Marjorie why are you arguing about this all over the place. What makes you know? I hear Kate sing a high Eb at the end in the background which would mean she sang a higher note, but Tiffany is the voice behind her incredible Bb climax. What about that upsets you? Tiffany range goes much higher than that, so what is the problem?
Marjorie you are funny... I am not sure what fantasies you are referring to but I have seen Tiffany live and I heard her live hit a very high note at the end of a duet, it had to have been at least a C6. You could have least explained what you said you know. I'm with Mayowa, also curious if you are related to Kate... based on your name. I guess not
My favorite thing about hearing spot on a cappella is getting to hear the perfect interval ratios which you can't get in 12 tone equal temperament. It's like sacred geometry in sonic form.
I love Tiffany. I love that I can hear her facial expressions. I love that I’ve never been able to watch her sing, all the way back to the Truth days, without smiling. She’s good people.
If you are referring to Tiffany's last note which we are all referring to then no it wasn't, you can tell the difference in their voices. You think Tiffany cannot reach that note? Wrong
Okebaram E j I agree with you most people tend to underestimate how high Tiffany can go. A while ago on her website bio I remember seeing that she sings both Soprano1 and Soprano 2
Good point Mayowa. I remember someone who knows her and some of the other singers once explained that Tiffany can sing all of Kate's notes too even the high G when and if needed, said she actually sings Soprano 1 when needed. Hadn't looked at her website but this is my second time hearing that.
There's a studio recording of Jamey's apace arrangement of The Star Spangled Banner floating around on youtube. Tiffany is singing Soprano 1 and the last note is a G6 and it's AMAZING!! She can certainly do it. She is such a great musician - that she can also handle the intricate harmonies of Soprano 2.
Can we just give a shout out to the tenors who in this (especially from 2:42 ) and the Princess Medley have some amazing stuff going on. Love this group! Jamey Ray you are a genius at your arranging!
Colin Laing Don't get the altos mixed up with the tenors. The harmonies are really tight and can be easily misplaced. And yes the tenors did amazing 😉 but it's I Voctave and was expected though still surprisingly amazing everytime 😍👌🏾
Marcus Jones I know the difference between altos and tenors (notwithstanding that you can see them singing) so I appreciate what you’re saying but on this one it’s definitely tenors. But yes. They are fantastic. And Jamey is beyond talented
I've said it before and will say it again. This group is simply superb. From top soprano down to the sonority of the bass, all voices are so rich, clean and precise. The arrangements are also great and the whole thing is 'second to none'!! Thank you! MORE, MORE, MORE, PLEASE!!!!!
TIME STAMPS OF WHERE I CRIED/MELTED: 3:09 - That "to reeeeaaach" was SO CLEAN and EFFORTLESS. TEARS. 3:19 - THAT CHORD.... The basses sound incredible here... I have no idea what the chord name is but my god that tugged on my heart strings!!! it reminded me of the bit in Circle of Life - (once it changed key) "till we find our plaaaace....*melty chord* ...on the path on wiiinding....*melty chord*... That's a terrible explanation but if you know Circle of Life you KNOW what I mean!!! 3:28 - Another effortless note from tiffany, that was just pristine... TEARS!!! 3:34 till the end - EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS IN THIS MOMENT IS JUST..... ASDFGHIYSGFUKYSDTFIGFIHDGFSLFDHSOFRGSF;SHFS PRETTY SURE I'VE LISTENED TO THIS ABOUT 87 TIMES NOW. THIS is why I love Tiffany!!!!!! She SHINES in this!!!!! I adore you all so much.. PLEASE COME TO THE UK!!!!!!!!!
Well I'd like the movie version since they've covered a lot of Disney songs. But I'll take the Elton John version too. I've commented this on so many of their UA-cam and Facebook videos hoping they'll notice this.
I like the movie version better cause it has that whole jungle theme to complement it. Moreover, it has a choir which is quite apt for them. Also a lead male and female singer which they've done before. I believe that version will suit them better.
It is my opinion that whilst the entire group did a great job, the lead vocal singer (in the white blouse) did a terrific job in her singing!!! I've listened many times, and I continue to enjoy the beauteous melody of her voice!
Tiffany nails this piece like it was written for her. It is truly the perfect song for her. She gives every word and every note, just the treatment it deserves. I love the way she sings the word "love". The basses really bring it, too. Just amazing. Jamie's arrangements are so intuitive for all the different voices. We are listening in Vero Beach!
thats our fam turn up & much love & respect & all of yall please be safe & careful on the road & going home & making sure all of yall are all alright & ok
I'm so glad we get to hear Tiffany belt it out. How this woman isn't a household name is way beyond me. If you haven't heard her sing the national anthem with voices of liberty, do some youtube searching and behold.
Undoubtedly the most inspirational performance of Impossible Dream I have found. The entire ensemble is awesome. Tiffany sang like a trumpet virtuoso. Brassy. Lyrical. Amazing.
This is one of my most favorite songs from one of my most favorite shows. I have heard it sung many times by different tenors, but, never sung by a woman before. I have to say that the first time I heard your version all I could do was to thank God that I can hear. It was so beautiful that it hurt my heart. You people are all impossibly talented. Please sing more broadway. This song was a gorgeous chunk of beauty in a flawed and scary world. THANK YOU.
WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????????????????? Tiffany. . . stunning!!!! This piece made me feel like I could fly!!! (Impossible? Not while listening to this!) Jamey Ray . . .another SPECTACULAR arrangement. WOW!
I have never in my lifetime heard such beautiful music, composition, blessed musicians and human spirit! God bless you all and I will continue to look for more of your incredible music!
MY GOD................................... how did WE ever get so lucky to hear such MAGICAL Voices?.. Words can no longer express the inner feelings ... THANK YOU VOCTAVE!!!
I just listened for, what, the 20th time, perhaps and this performance still thrills me like no other. The emotion that Tiffany puts into this is clearly contagious to the others. Voctave never ceases to amaze.
Such beautiful voices singing one of my favorite songs ever! Fabulous. Instant new subscriber (I didn't even have to wait until the end of the song haha)
David Eaton there's a cheeky little 9th in there from the guys on the last note too... Not to mention I'm pretty certain EJ's sailing up the scale towards his nice belt on the last note. Could be wrong... eargasm nonetheless!
David Eaton you can listen dozens of times and pick up different things every time - like the tenors at 2:42 or how rich the ladies' tones are at the beginning... list is endless
Listening in 2024. Chills! Fantastic!!
Holy moly more Broadway please!! :)
Yes please!!!!
Indeed 😍
Paint Agreed, I would totally buy a Voctave broadway CD
Yeah a musicals album they could make more than one lol plenty material
Oy. Another song please?
Tiffany, wow! Beautiful!!! Goosebumps! All of you are amazing! Praise God for our “divine appointment” in Lancaster this morning 😇🙏🏽🕊️
3:09 to the end is one of the most incredible demonstrations of breath control I have EVER heard. She is AMAZING.
Your voices are the real impossible dreams!
Right?! They even looked triumphant, finishing that song.
Non voise of elvis IS impossible Dream
When Voctave uploads a new video, you know it's going to be fantastic!
Ethan Hiteshue or do a lion king Medley 🤔🤔
So true
Exactly 😊
I still can't fathom how they have such good lung capacities. She held two LONG notes back to back like it was nothing!
Practice, ohhh so much practice
...and sound editing. ;)
But seriously, these people are amazing artistic athletes. Theyve put in years of work to be able to perform like this.
Staggered breathing is another great technique they use.
It’s not so hard once you learn the trick then practice it. It’s not really about capacity
This group is just so wonderful. This is a beautiful example of why music plays such a large role in the happiness of so many people around the world. And with Tiffany Coburn we see someone who emotes the highest levels of talent with such a deep compassion for song. She is super and I love watching her perform.
To dream the impossible dream
To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear with unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go
To right the unrightable wrong
To love pure and chaste from afar
To try when your arms are too weary
To reach the unreachable star
This is my quest, to follow that star,
No matter how hopeless, no matter how far
To fight for the right without question or cause
To be willing to march into hell for a heavenly cause
And I know if I'll only be true to this glorious quest
That my heart will lie peaceful and calm when I'm laid to my rest
And the world will be better for this
That one man scorned and covered with scars
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
To fight the unbeatable foe, to reach the unreachable star

I'd love to hear you guys do a "Sound of Music" medley
James Angulo OMG PLEASE

How are this people not more famous!? All their videos are unbelievable!!
The young lady who singing is always so Turnt up in all the videos. love it
I love this showcase of Tiffany's voice!! I'd love more solo's like these!!!!
One of the most perfect voices on the planet, she is just spectacular.
A lump in my throat, a tear in my eye. Just amazing.
OMG, Tiffany's voice is just 🔥🔥🔥 and that high note tho👌. Jamey's arrangements are always GOLD😩. Nice work guys!!!
Marjorie Snyder I think the notes both of them sing at the end are generally considered as'high'( as they are sopranos) but since Tiffany is the soloist her ending(high) note is made to standout a bit more than Kate's even tho it may not be higher.
Marjorie Snyder I can't help but wonder are you related to Kate because I think her maiden name is 'Snyder'. If so Heyyyyy!🙀 I'm a big fan
Okebaram E you are entitled to your fantasies.
Marjorie you are funny... You could have least explained what you said you know. I'm with Mayowa, also curious if you are related to Kate... based on your name. I guess not
Tiffany’s SMILE at the end yes ma’am!! She is giving character the entire time and we love to see it
That last high note! My gosh she held that for so long!
My favorite thing about hearing spot on a cappella is getting to hear the perfect interval ratios which you can't get in 12 tone equal temperament.
It's like sacred geometry in sonic form.
I would be proud to have kids singing like this.
OMG. Her voice is like an angel. I can't get enough of this amazing group.
It doesn't get any better than this! Her Voice!
Tiffany makes my goosebumps have goosebumps. The most beautiful version of this song ever!!
I love Tiffany. I love that I can hear her facial expressions. I love that I’ve never been able to watch her sing, all the way back to the Truth days, without smiling. She’s good people.
Every now and then you find a real gem on UA-cam. Voctave is one such gem
I love how proudly they all look at Tiffany, she's killing it!
Anyone agree they have such immense talent? Especially with vocals and arrangements? I sure do.
So true
Amen! I am blown away with the spirit and talent of this group. I can't wait to hear more in the future!
I love that they mixed Kate properly so to not overpower Tiffany's final note
Exactly!

Beautiful combination of voices whoever sung lead sound like the voice of a angel
The last note was the impossible dream. Marvelous!!!
G6 above E6 above C6 at the end is spectacular.... 😵😱😳😳😘😘
Voctave is the only group that I have notifications for because I am never disappointed with the beauty they portray ❤️
EVERYBODY loves Tiffany. Look at the way they look at her! And rightfully so!
Can we just give a shout out to the tenors who in this (especially from 2:42 ) and the Princess Medley have some amazing stuff going on. Love this group! Jamey Ray you are a genius at your arranging!

The parara pararas accompaniments!!!

I hear ya!! This one usually brings me to tears!!
With God's blessing I will see you in Edmond. Thank you so much! That was stunning!
Jamey Ray, your arrangements are just superb. Tiffany, Beautiful solo. Voctave is the best
How can ANYTHING be so beautiful? Breathtaking.
Undoubtedly the premiere vocal group at work today! Simply stunning!
Please cover "Can you feel the love tonight" from the Lion King!
dogepi The Elton John version not the one from the film.
Well I'd like the movie version since they've covered a lot of Disney songs. But I'll take the Elton John version too. I've commented this on so many of their UA-cam and Facebook videos hoping they'll notice this.
movie version is so much better imo. the lyrics of elton's version are great but i love the singers of the film version
dogepi I prefer Elton John, I like more choral songs
I like the movie version better cause it has that whole jungle theme to complement it. Moreover, it has a choir which is quite apt for them. Also a lead male and female singer which they've done before. I believe that version will suit them better.
The smile on James' face on 3:29 i bet it was pure happiness :D
I could listen to the Voctave version on The Impossible Dream all day long. So much passion it is contagious.
Her voice is warm and fuzzy. For some reason it reminds me of Christmas. Dunno. This was amazing. That harmony was air tight!
Oh my goodness, I think I held my breath I think for the whole song, so that I did not miss one note. So out of this world !!!!!!!
Are y'all angles cause Everytime I listen to y'all voice I feel safe like nothing can hurt me. I love y'all so much.💙😇feel like I'm in heaven already.
Qu33n K This is acute comment. Am I right, or being obtuse?
Both comments are equilaterally appropriate!
Qu33n K DUDE!!!! SAME!!!!!
The(my) Impossible Dream : Singing with voctave and being as good as they are😩
Holy cow! Let's hear it for those tenors!!!
she held the last note that long! goosebumps everywhere..
It is my opinion that whilst the entire group did a great job, the lead vocal singer (in the white blouse) did a terrific job in her singing!!! I've listened many times, and I continue to enjoy the beauteous melody of her voice!

What can I say that I hasn't been said already on one of your videos. Voctave, your music is medicine for the soul that I didn't know I was late for!
thats our fam turn up & much love & respect & all of yall please be safe & careful on the road & going home & making sure all of yall are all alright & ok
I'm so glad we get to hear Tiffany belt it out. How this woman isn't a household name is way beyond me. If you haven't heard her sing the national anthem with voices of liberty, do some youtube searching and behold.
I will be searching for that, thanks
Heaven should be a place like this.
Undoubtedly the most inspirational performance of Impossible Dream I have found. The entire ensemble is awesome. Tiffany sang like a trumpet virtuoso. Brassy. Lyrical. Amazing.
My highschool choir teacher had us sing this one year and it just made me think back to better times. I miss choir so much 😭
This is one of my most favorite songs from one of my most favorite shows. I have heard it sung many times by different tenors, but, never sung by a woman before. I have to say that the first time I heard your version all I could do was to thank God that I can hear. It was so beautiful that it hurt my heart. You people are all impossibly talented. She held that note like it was nothing. Amazing!
GOSH,YOU NEVER FAIL TO AMAZE ME VOCTAVE AND THAT NOTE AND HARMONY AT 3:29 until the end!!!✨💕
Just amazing!!!
Seriously Matthew. And don't sleep on that tenor -- not even the highest one -- holding the 2nd (or 9th) at the end. Quietly unresolved tension.
Aaaand I have tears.
Glorious. Simply magnificent.
The 1st sopranos, SPECIFICALLY, had me choking up 👏😭
Every time I see a new upload I stop EVERYTHING and listen to it. I LOVE this.
Man, I just get so many goosebumps 🙈. Just wish I had young ears to appreciate the excellence of Tiffany’s power. Bravo
If you know the song, just listen with your heart. It'll fill in the notes for you. 😊😊
Yay!! Always brightens my day when I get a notification from VOCTAVE!!!!!
I just heard this magnificent group for the very first time yesterday. All I can say is "WOW"! They are just awesome!
WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????????????????? Tiffany. . . stunning!!!! This piece made me feel like I could fly!!! (Impossible? Not while listening to this!) Jamey Ray . . .another SPECTACULAR arrangement. WOW!
I seriously think Voctave is the best group out there. They're simply astounding
As was stated before, and I'll state it again; Tiffany is a SINGER'S singer. I love her so much. ♥
Tiffany you knocked that one right out of the ball park. Stunning
LOVE hearing the "Dudes of Bass" Well done everyone
They all have amazing voices. I find myself anticipating high notes of Kate Lott and Tiffany Coburn. (GIVES ME GOOSE BUMPS!!) Such controlled power!
Everytime i watch Voctave i find myself clapping and fascinated.
Exactly.
Was about to say that :P
clapping most of the time ...
That last note! Unbelievable!
Love it when there is a new Voctave notification. Tiffany, you rock!!
The hair on my arms always stands when I listen to Voctave. Beautiful!
I'm in heaven. This is pure gold
The amount of sound from 10 people is nothing short of amazing... and the phrasing... wow

I have never in my lifetime heard such beautiful music, composition, blessed musicians and human spirit! God bless you all and I will continue to look for more of your incredible music!

This still remains my favorite of what Voctave has done to date!
this version of this song gave me goosebumps in places i didn't know could get goosebumps. Holy crap ya'll are good
As soon as Tiffany started singing tears started welling up in my eyes, so beautiful and pure.
Amazingly good! Go Voctave! Yes, Tiffany! The hardest thing about being a Voctave fan is waiting for the release of their next video.
MY GOD................................... how did WE ever get so lucky to hear such MAGICAL Voices?.. Words can no longer express the inner feelings ... THANK YOU VOCTAVE!!!
Who else loves when Ashley sings Soprano like me?🙌
I love when Ashley sings ANYTHING...... but yes, agree!
Voctave is the best classical A Cappella group ever to have walked the Earth.
Great job on the solo lead Tiffany!! Everyone was amazing as always
I just listened for, what, the 20th time, perhaps and this performance still thrills me like no other. The emotion that Tiffany puts into this is clearly contagious to the others. Voctave never ceases to amaze.
That note at the end....awesome!
I can't wait for you guys to cover every single musical and Disney song!
I love how much you can tell you guys support one another's talent.
My day just got *so* much better 😊
Words can not explain how incredible this truly is!!! Talent beyond measure.
Such beautiful voices singing one of my favorite songs ever! Fabulous. Instant new subscriber (I didn't even have to wait until the end of the song haha)
That soprano is from another world!
Tiffany Coburn DID that. She DID. THAT.
YourPrincessLainie Tiffany is... wow!
Yes she did!
I didn't even know there were notes that high!!!
Amazing voice...AMAZING !!
And she did it MAGNIFICENTLY. Absolutely gorgeous!!!!
Eleven of the most beautiful voices in the world!
Tiffany's 5th at the end 😍😍
David Eaton there's a cheeky little 9th in there from the guys on the last note too... Not to mention I'm pretty certain EJ's sailing up the scale towards his nice belt on the last note. Could be wrong... eargasm nonetheless!
Colin Laing I definitely hear it now that you've pointed it out I'm in love with this arrangement even more
David Eaton you can listen dozens of times and pick up different things every time - like the tenors at 2:42 or how rich the ladies' tones are at the beginning... list is endless
@@colinlaing3823 That 9th is everything to me. Present enough to be appreciated, but without showing off!
I love it when the singer hit the high note 5 or 6 bars before the end and just continues to hold it all the way to the end. Very impressive.
Wonder how she could hold her breath like that!!
