Voctave this is one of my favorite classical music/song and i can't find the best cover until your channel send me a notification❤️ great job everyone.
You guys are awesome! I liked it even before watching, and please come to Brazil!!
Hey, guys. I have waited for this album. I consider myself an anachronism. Although born in 1959 and came of age in the 70's, my heart is enamored with the Standards and that genre of singers who sang them. Andy Williams would be so proud of your rendition of this classic. I am grateful that you sang two of my favorite songs by the immortal Jimmy Durante. There is so much pathos and poignancy in Jimmy's voice that juxtapositions so well with the lush strings of Gordon Jenkins. There are two people who can make me cry when they sing. Jimmy is one. Kate is the other. Well done, Ladies and Gentlemen. God bless you all.
Beautiful harmony brothers .
Voctave is the best acapella Group.
Especially when the men take the melody...holy smokes!!
Ikr bass almost never get melody
@@BrassFeline yep, my mouth just dropped open in awe
I love to hear real men sing..awesome......
As a former bass choral singer, I lived the guys getting the melody.
There is no more beautiful instrument than the human voice.
Tom C. Clark, amen, brother. And Voctave illustrates that better than anyone.
Beautifully stated, Tom
Assuming it’s in tune
@@tatarsauce6314, lol! True! As some talent-show auditions show us.
Nah Coltrane goes crazy
The tall blonde really came through with the high notes here. The bass also really stood out to me.
her name is Tiffany Coburn, she's second soprano :)
mvp for sure
That characteristically pure high note by Tiffany beginning at 3:08, descending gracefully into that haunting chord at 3:16, is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. My life is made better by these little things - thanks to the genius of Jamey Ray and the unbelievable talents of Voctave.
Edit: Just realised that Jamey Ray used similar progressions to start and end the song! Tiffany has a similar (also perfect
♥️
sounds like some f u z z y music theory
@@mattmiller8614 Hey, I'm always happy to be educated :) Would love to learn more about stuff I describe only fuzzily.
Thevesh Theva the ending is just a IV V I in D
No they are not wrong
If Audrey was still here with us, she would be so happy
Can I ask who Audrey is?
@@lwilliamsnoc Audrey Hepburn, this song is originally from a movie she starred in - Breakfast at Tiffany's.
@@lwilliamsnoc Audrey Hepburn, the famous actress who played Holly in the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's, she originally sang this song
@@karimessalim ooooohhhhb ok
Vương Thắng I think she’d be horrified that this wistful little tune has been turned into an anthem like ‘Les Miz.’
Goosebumps! This arrangement is absolutely stunning.
Music by Henry Mancini and lyrics by the marvelous Johnny Mercer! the one conducting , I believe, is also in a barbershop Quartet called Main Street, also
a great acapella ensemble! 😊
This one is dedicated to my mom and dad my dad would always dance with my mom when they heard this song! They have passed away! I would give anything to see them dance together again! Never take your parents for granted because you never know how long you will have with them! I love you so very much Mom and Dad and I miss you so very much! This was absolutely beautiful minus the tears! ♥️
Lisa Gibson, reading your comment touched my heart. May your mom and dad dance in the righteous spirit realm!
I sympathise and relate with you with this. My parents recently passed and this was their song too. They would have really loved this. I miss them both terrbly. Some of the happiest moments in my life were spent with them.
Love!! When you hit the Thumbs Up button before actually watching the video!
WOW!! OUTSTANDING!!Henry would be proud!!
Gosh... it's like listening to soft marshmallow clouds. I can't even describe how soothing this is to listen to. Love you guys' music
Can we appreciate the tenors on 1:37 totally magical 👌🏻
Henry Mancini Is Smiling Down Listening To This Amazing Rendition Of His Beautiful Song. Thank You Voctave For This Gift Of Music 🎵
Gary Hinkle No sarcasm intended, but you really think so?? This wistful little tune was composed with a small range to fit Audrey Hepburn’s voice, and it’s just her little dream. Not a Disney anthem. The singing here is excellent, as was Andy Williams’s, but it’s not the song Mancini wrote.
This was always suchca lovely song. Soothing, smooth
The arranger gets the most points!
Today's day is so tiring and tough I'm comforted by the beautiful music. When I see your happy face, I feel better. I always listen well. Thank you for having a good influence on people with good music.
So nice to hear Tiffany on the Soprano 1 line!
Alisa LaVine that’s what I was trying to figure out. Did they switch parts?
@@RegentofArrako I believe at the beginning, that first 6th octave note was Kate but I need to rewatch to be certain. But yes, definitely at the end, that was Tiffany. You can tell the difference because she a little more weight to her voice than Kate. Kate has a precise, clear tone. Not that Tiffany is anything but perfectly on pitch. Kate just has an exceptionally clear, piercing, bell-like tone.
Alisa LaVine Youre right on the mark! thank you!! I love your insight 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Yes it was nice to hear tiffany!
Andy would love this!
Tiffany and Kate switching roles, didnt expect that. Amazing.
Right?! She sounds buttery!
Moon river, wider than a mile
I'm crossing you in style some day
Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker
Wherever you're goin', I'm goin' your way
Two drifters, off to see the world
There's such a lot of world to see
We're after the same rainbow's end, waitin' 'round the bend
My huckleberry friend, moon river, and me
I love you and your harmonious voices.❤
the bass man in the rightmost side and Tiffany are always such fun to watch. They both sing with this uninhibited joy on their faces.
I am hearing you in July 12th , 2023, and I am old enough (85) to be sure of what I am qualifying. ❤
Andy Williams would have loved this rendition of Moon River. The BASS singers really did a great job.
Every. Single. One. Of. You. Is. Amazing. Thank you for sharing your hearts, souls and uplifting voices - you truly make the world a wonderful place in which to live.
just discovered you. harmonies have me swooning. you know that moment when you hear a chord perfectly executed and you kind of squint your eyes like you just tasted something delicious? that's the experience.
One of my most favorite songs of all time. This is absolutely heavenly. ❤
Браво! Апплодирую вам стоя! ❤❤❤
Me imagining my first dance with my future wife. What a masterpiece!
When the bass has a BEAUTIFUL voice (not just a deep voice), you know you have something special! ❤
The bass, tenor and alto knew how to carry the sopranos.
People make fun of this song, its not the words for me, its the instrument for me love this song. They did excellent.
Back in the 50’s they played this in a trading post we shopped at. It still is my all time favorite song. Nice job. Excellent arrangement.
the best of the best of the best, no doubt about it
While I fully agree this is the best acapella group out there, check out Jacob Collier's version of Moon River. That's a completely different level. Stellar performances all around.
Lord please give me a voice like these in my next life.
My Dad passed away in 2011 and this was one of his favorite songs. We would listen to it together and he would say, "Ron, this is good music." Thank you Voctave for this "good music" and a sweet remembrance of my dad.
I'm in heaven. Turns out harmony and melody aren't dead after all. Absolutely gorgeous.
Nothing more beautiful than raw vocals. Your voices are the only instruments we need. Another beautiful arrangement, thank you for sharing your talent!

Wow this sounds so beautiful. Thank you. Terrific.
The vivacious Voctave are the HOTTEST group ever! I hope they gonna win a grammy on this one! #VoctaveForever
I have been just so tired today and suddenly I have relaxed just at your beautiful arrangement of Moon River. Honestly the women did magnificently, jaw dropped when the guys took the melody. Its not everyday that bass get a melody and to see that made me happy.
눈물나.. 난 이런 디즈니st 감성이 너무너무 좋아.. 구름위를 날아다니는 것같은 느낌..
Thanks for this privilege of hearing this interpretation.
No other way to listen to this but with my headset to get the full experience. So beautiful.
Exactly what l did, and felt like l was in the studio. How incredibly beautiful, l enjoyed every moment!
And yet again my mind is officially blown. 😍👌👏
Danke für diese einzigartige Stimmen Erlebnis ❤❤
You're like angels 💖 Imagine hearing your harmonization everywhere, what a Peaceful world. 😍
I was at the opening of Andy Williams' theater in Branson and he sang this of course. You took me back there so beautifully. Always was a favorite song of mine. Just gorgeous.
My favorite song, it reminds me my deceased brother. He is my huckleberry finn. 😢😢😢😢
Nelson: I didn't think they were gonna do Moon River, but then BAM, second encore!
Oh wow, that was so beautiful.
The tall lady🙌, her voice is so heavenly.
I love those beautifully close harmonies and that key change in the middle there, WOW!!!
Lovely blend of voices. Splendid!
I don’t understand why they dont have a million subs😩 luv them so much🤧💕
That was beautiful. I love Tiffany's high notes that she does. It's not as loud as Kate's and has a soft quality to it that fits the song really well.
SHINE TIFFANY!!!!! 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖 That was BEAUTIFUL at 3:09 and whatever that chord was at 3:18 I HAD to rewind! Love you guys SO MUCH!!!
Momma sang this when we were little. She passed away in 2005. This performance makes my heart both break and soar. Thank you for this gift.
Rest in peace 🙏 cant wait to see your mother singing in heaven
This was my parents' song. I wish they were here to hear this now, it is truly beautiful. You make my heart happy!
💖💖💖Какая добрая сильная энергия идёт от вашего прекрасного пения, коллеги!!!
You guys... Thank you very much for this... I truely mean it when I say these harmonies are healing. Like a balm for the soul. Thank you
With Voctave, it's not just a song, but an experience. I felt like I just watched a nostalgic animated movie like fox and the hound and being cuddled by dead loved ones. Wild. It made me happy and sad.
This is outstanding!
I am living for that first soprano solo! But seriously, the entire arrangement was bellisima!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well done!!
CHILLS! As genius and advanced as Jacob Collier’s take on this tune was, there’s nothing quite like a simple but powerful arrangement such as this one.
Andy Williams l believe is nodding his head and smiling in approval of his signature song. Thanks for this rendition just perfect
This video deserves 200 million views...
Very wonderful blend/sound. The part that got me was @3:09...smh so clean and smooth
Great job All! I feel like this featured Tiffany just like how ‘soap gets in your eyes’ featured Kate.

I discover ya'll only 2 weeks ago. I've listened every evening since. I'm blown away.
Can something sound so beautiful that while listening to it a person cries? Yes...I'm setting here with tears running down my face. I'm a singer and music is my #1 Love, and this was so amazingly beautiful. I used to sing this song years ago......It was absolutely gorgeous....I love everything you do. Thank you for giving me joyful tears.
Angelina, yes. It can. Lol. It has the same effect on me.
I''d really like to hear them "live" without the post-production phase... (it would be still amazing for sure!!)
I have just one word to say about the performance
"WOW".
The hairs on my back are standing on end. Wow! Just..... WOW!!
OMG!! OMG!! OMG!! It was just ... OMG!! Beautiful!! I'm buying your album. You guys are OUTSTANDING! I got to sing arrangements of this type in high school 40 years ago, and this just blew me away. I'll stop typing now, else I WON'T STOP!!! OMG!! OMG!! ..... OMG!
IT'S SOUNDS SO BEAUTIFUL! AUDREY HEPBURN AND ANDY WILLIAMS SURELY WOULD'VE LOVED WATCHING AND LISTENING TO THIS COVER. KUDOS VOCTAVE
Yeeeees sound of music
Don't forget Henry Mancini!
Hello I LOVE Tiffany on the descant !!!!!
If I heard a Voctave rendition of Speechless from the new Aladdin, I would actually pass out. The Hymn of Axciom would also make me pass out! Pretty much every Voctave cover makes me pass out! True story :)
Stupendi!!!
The blends of each musical rhythm are crystal. Thank you for your authentic version.
You took me somewhere safe and comfortable with this. Thank you, and subbed!! ❤️
I am always overwhelmed by Octave. When people who have only ever listened to metal and rap hear beautiful music, it is a revelation.
I always loved beautiful music, even as a teen. Thanks for keeping it alive.
Well...I wasn't expecting to cry today...but here I am.
that bass not at 1:18 gave me chills!!!

@@landoblu thank you... i just noticed
Love this cover!! Made me miss my grandfather. He loved this song.
Great way to unwind for the day.
Mancini would smile if he could have heard your beautiful rendition.
This is obviously fantastic, but Jacob Collier recently released his version of Moon River too, and this song will never be the same after what he did. If you enjoyed Voctave's version, i implore you to check out Jacob's version as well.
Ill give a lot to see both Jacob and Voctave do a Moon river version together
@@LoLDremmah me too I'm praying for a collab
It's..... a bit much.
I just want to play it over and over again until I fall asleep.
🥺 my heart is crying and happy at the same time
Goose bumps❤❤❤
Moon River is one of my favorite songs of all time it is so beautiful! Amazingly done
Took me less than 1 second when I saw the youtube notice on voctave's video and clicked it
I can't even right now....I need to listen to this 63653636382 more times, and then maybe I'll be able to coherently describe the richness of this performance and arrangement.
Couldnt agree more!!!! Just cant get enough!!
Absolutely delightful to listen to; Andy Williams would be proud of you all. But my favourite versions are still that of himself and US alto soloist and theatre actress; Andrea Ross
Jamey, you did a wonderful job arranging this. I always like the way you bring out the sopranos with the ultra high harmony.
I noticed that with 5,000+ views NOT ONE thumbs 👎 down! I don't want to jinx it, but you have nothing to worry about. I listened expecting an outstanding performance and once again, you exceeded my expectations. Andy Williams is sitting out there in eternity hearing Voctave and saying, "I wish I could have sung as well as those 'kids' back in the day!"
My mom used to sing this to me to go to sleep when I was little.
Stunning! Who could possibly thumbs down this video?!
Oh my...this makes surfing UA-cam very worth it!
