His most underrated album by far. Very strong Latin themes, done beautifully well!
🎸 His last 4 following Years of refusal are my favourites his previous ones are as great as his work with The Smith's but I'm biased I even adore Kill uncle for it's quality lyrics & individual sound . The UK press have always had it in for him as a solo artist favouring The Smiths greatly but to me they would be nothing other than good musicians without him . His support of For Britain a deeply right wing racist very Islamaphobic fringe party& his usual classic Morrissey lack of explanation with press encouragement has mean't he can't fill one smaller UK arena after an album release as in last year when we went to Wembley.For decades he has sold out as many concerts here small or huge as he pleases in a year within seconds. Lyrically he called Palestine Israel but as a revert to Islam Christmas 2019 at the age of 55 now I'm 57 he has never offended me 🙏Alhamdulillah👑 ☝ 🎶
One of his best works, by far
Every time I listen to "I'd never kill or eat an animal. And I never would destroy this planet...." I get goose bumps. There is no other artist like him... I respect him, admire him, love him from the deepest of my heart.
i tend to cry whenever i come back and listen to his perfect discography. the song that does it for me on this album is surely drag the river... she would gaze into the river as wed look into a mirror...

Hello there everyone and huge thank you all for your nice comments etc and it's really nice to see that people still come and watch these videos. I think that I might have had few new followers also while I was away. 😊
Sorry that this has been quite silent Chanel what comes about me. I forgot the password to this account and it has email address what I haven't had access in years and I forgot this Chanel as well in time, but last Friday this video and changed came back toy mind and I finally got the password right.
Lots of things have happened and I might not have that much time to make these videos or at least it will take little bit more time.
Because it seems that most of my followers are The Smiths / Morrissey fans, my next video should be something from them and because I don't "own" anymore any The Smiths records after divorce it will be the Morrissey then. I only do these videos from the albums I have bought and I have done already two of four Morrissey albums I have. I haven't done yet "You Are The Quarry" & "Low In High School".
Which one you would like to see first?
While (and if I will have time for) doing it, I will download one other one song video from another band here so I can remove it from my other channel.

The last six songs, plus Mountjoy, are my favorites. But the album as a whole is brilliant.
I havent been seduced so violently by a Morrissey album since « we are the quarry ». The latest « Low in High School » is also great. Tonight I will see him in concert for the first time since I saw the Smiths in concert, 33 years ago!

🎸🎶 A great album I got the deluxe on CD the day it came out & the UK tour lasted 2 years we went to Birmingham Barclay card arena London O2 arena Hammersmith apollo theatre & Manchester arena.After promising to re release it around the Hammersmith shows I'm surprised he hasn't as he obviously loves it a lot I do too 🔥🎶

+Franco Pancotto Good question. The reason was, if I remember correctly, that the lyrics was also white in the sheet. Also the background color was same as I used I think. Video background was scanned from the sheet. Can't find my CD atm so I can't confirm it.

🎸 Harvest dropped it soon after its release as he argued about lack of promotion & it was pulled from all release from there on including streaming platforms. He mentioned rereleasing it during the Hammersmith show on Etienne through BMG but they only stuck to his 3 album deal Low in high school California son & I am not a dog on a chain 🎶
