Gold without all the black sand ? Am I dreaming? 🍻
That water table works well but on black beach sand it takes FOREVER!!!! Cheers Mate ✌️🐺
I've actually got some beach sands from your area. I'm going tontest this out
@@VoGusProspecting
Nice 👍🏻
Wow some of of my favourite UA-cam do..... err, I mean humans, definitely humans.
gotta say i hate waking up so early, but there is something about watching ya'll dig dirt and gravel while i drink my coffee that just perks me up haha
😂😂😂
Awesome day out on reedy again. Fern is mischievous and i love it!
I’ve just come back from 2 days on the River I gotta say it was very enjoyable just sitting feeding the River Sluice and seeing the small flakes of gold slowly appearing on the Matt’s along with ten tons of black sand
I agree... Miller table all the way. Even if they clean up equally as good, there's something about being hands on with the Miller table that's so satisfying.
The lack of black sands in that spot is indicative of better paydirt under it. I suggest you pan in one spot and go as deep as you can. Cheers 🍻
Have watched a bunch of your vids. Across the pond... Way across... But cheers mate from the great state of West Virginia. You have a new subscriber. Love the content. And the honesty with your own issues. The more we communicate the less stigma there is.
Thanks for the inspiration to be brave and try out new things. I'm gonna grab a gold pan and go have some fun next time I'm on a hike up here in Northern New Mexico. There's legends of good gold deposits here from our Spanish ancestors!
Since I am not in Australia to do this myself, it would be awesome if you could make a video where you work up a decent amount of concentrates and then take some kit like a panning tub to Andrew's from Adventure Gold and pan the concentrates together. I may never get to wash a pan with him but then I could watch my two favorite Australian prospectors together and I am sure it would be fun for him. That would be a great video.
Agreed, would be cool to see Andy and Chris together. Poor Andy might not have long 😢
Chris has done a video on the creek with Andrew, look far enough back in his vids. Happy hunting.
That's very thoughtful
Had never watched Andrew before seeing your comment, first video I see is him saying he's terminally ill 😭
Hello Sunshine nice to see another one. Awesome adventure Mate Thank you
Great video as usual, Chris. Very relaxing to watch you operating the small highbanker with a lightweight battery minus the sound of a noisy gas pump. Nice gold for your take home. Thanks for sharing.
2 things I have learned today: high banking is good dirty fun, and you really need a strong back! More power to you, Chris!!!
Great video, Chris. I like seeing new work in progress ideas. I have a couple graph paper tablets just for whatever new gold recovery idea I get.
I'd like to also say prayers for Andrew of Adventure Gold Prospecting - Australia.I've had cancer myself and was just lucky and I'm doing good now. Andrew has provided many many hours of teaching how to look for gold and a lot more. I'm simply heartbroken from his most recent video.
Prays for Andrew!
Not a subscriber there but sending good thoughts for sure.
Gold Hog Multi sluice and a light weight battery is about the funnest way to spend a day in the creek!
Chris....great video....thanks for the Ikea basket tip
Always, always love your content. Informative, interesting, insightful, etc. I want to now add how good I think the camera work is, excellent, artistic, and more. It adds a lot to the videos. Great work guys.
4:20 lols
nice gold keep digging in that spot just to see where the bottom is. 👍 😉 thank you for sharing the adventure 😀.
I always look forward to your videos. Always learn a lot. Thanks!
Interesting to see you guys trying stuff to detect the gold layer. Another good watch, cheers Chris
Thanks Chris! Absolutely love Fern!she is in so much of this video! Just her looks she gives at times is funny!wonder what she is thinking?
Grate video guys, have you ever thought about getting a light weight foldable solar panel to keep your battery charged and it wil help with the life of your battery aswel and your be able to use it whn u get hme to fully charge the battery for nxt time and it saves your electric thn u can use it on any 12v battery to maintain it and keep it fully charged. 💯💯👍👌👊
Put a woman's nylon hose over your pump to keep stuff out. Great video and Thank You for sharing with us. Give your dog a scratch for me.
Men have found endless better uses for the stocking over time, they should start selling them in Bunnings

WHY YOU DO THIS 😫
Exactly its he wants to get banned on UA-cam or something
Finally after all these years Ikea makes something useful. Another thing i would like to mention is i visited reedy creek last year and camped for a week Eldorado to be exact.
Anyway we visited the Massive dredge and were blown away at the sheer scale of the operation back then. In 1936 production of Cock’s large bucket dredge began, mining alluvial gold and tin until 1954. It was one of the largest dredges in the Southern Hemisphere - a floating monster weighing 2,142 tons and pulling the third most power from the State Electricity Grid after Melbourne and Geelong. In its 18 years of operation the dredge produced 70,664 ounces of gold and 1,383 tons of tin concentrate.
By the time the dredge was decommissioned it had dredged 30,000,000 cubic metres from the river flats of El Dorado Plain.
Question - Do you think that cocks bucket was scraping on a under river seam i would love to trace it back up the river and possibly find a primary anyway Chris Love your work.
I watch you get some good gold today. I thought about you cause I remember you saying something about the heat being 45c. Well here in Texas right now, it's 105°. The air feels like a hot air hair dryer. I feel for ya. Enjoyed your video, I don't commit much, but watch and like alot. Benny
Damn good job man, I’ll take that any day. It always trips me out how gold is in random spots once in awhile.
Sometimes I'm left questioning how much gold I've walked by thinking the spot does not look right
@@VoGusProspecting , sounds like a future vid 🤔😎👊
Love the flat pack dog, if only they came from ikea!! Thanks for the tip on the laundry basket though ;)
Damn you actually got me with that song. Gonna take a while to get that out of my head
Another great day out prospecting lads, I enjoyed that. So I'm not the only one that creates panning songs from random songs! Cheers for sharing Chris
.42 I nailed it.✌️
Your pan looks like it also has garnets in it
Hey Bud turn Your high banker into a 2 inch Dreg . Of You folks are allowed a 2 inch dreg . You can use a washing machine pump fron the 40s early 40w . And old gas motor . 2 5 hp to 3 hp. You can up a pump up for less 100 dollars U s d . Use
2 inch swimming pool hose and use pipe fittings from under the
Sink goose neck yellow
Used hose for lawn spraing . Like the lawn guys the spray lawns .
It's Japanese made. Double wall and nylon in the middle. Aren makes a small pump and. Water Pump. That has enough volume to run a small dreg.
Dredging is illegal here.
@@VoGusProspectingok.are you allowed to run water off in a whole You are working and do dredging that way as long as the water don't go back unto the main stream. ?
👍right on brother. Love your channel
Boy that looked like work. lol. Happy I am sitting on my chair in the office while dreaming about being out there myself. Actually I am still trying to find a better way to process black beach sand faster. One thing you said that I do not hear much on YT is how hard it is to separate the gold from thick black sand.
Very nice video👍
And a fantastic result
Congratulations and I hope you enjoy your hobby
👍😀🍻
Good job
to keep ur subscription to manscaped. the gold keep rolling. love it bud
Glad you doing well nice finds
Thank you Chris for your work 🙏
I'm teaching a buddy the basics by sending him your videos. Good on ya mate! Long Live INXS.
I wonder if the black sand will be further down at the bottom? Very cool spot! Can't wait to see what is at the bottom!
When you said 10,000 ounces, i thought know way. I doubt if he'd even get 5,000 ounces. But oh man, when you didn't get even 1,000 i was truly disappointed. You know they make different kinds of pans and different sizes; maybe that was the problem:-) Yikes! Great video. Got lost in thought there. Something about a picture of you running thru the outback screaming:"I did it, I did it, with a 10,000 ounce gold spill leaving a trail behind you. Heavy pans! Nice golden smile.
Beautiful location. I need to see another demonstration of the Manscape product and process. I don’t think I’m doing it correctly.
Its coming, pumice is next, keeps your nuts shiny
@@VoGusProspecting That reminds me, someone once asked me what I do for a crust, I replied, "I wear my undies for a month" ! Manscrape subscription incoming !!!
LOL! Shiny is always good!
@@MickH60 oh damn, that’s a visual I did not want!
@@VoGusProspecting I’ve always read and heard that Australian men were manly men. I guess it’s not too wrong if down under the men there are grooming their beans and franks with pumice. Just damn.
Looked like a good day for it
"Scooby Doo" "where are you"?
"Rover Hear! Followers closely by Astro, the Jetsons puppy. If you were referring to your animated buddy there, I meant no disrespect. You keep in mind the pre mentions dogs are professional actors and probably have a leg up on most dogs, any resemblance of dogs depicted here on today show is purely coincidental.
At least you didn’t sing Old grey mare again 😅
Excellent. Keep up the good job
Hey pal.. I’m in the uk.. just wondered if you could take your weather back.. 32 here today.. it’s too much.. 35 tomoz and 38 on Tuesday.. over 40 in some places.. that’s in homes designed to keep heat in and no air con 😭😭😭 I can’t cope 🫠 lol
Hope alls well out there buddy.. give your pooch a massive cuddle from me plz 🤗☺️
Get a wet towel and put it over a fan. Basic humidity cooler.
I just saw in the news how hot it is getting in the UK a minute ago. You all are gonna be warmer than the Sahara!
judging by the way Fern was trying to cross those stepping stones I think she decided water was dangerous and you shouldnt be in it....(1.59 )
as for the system...
Zen and the art of gold prospecting
Did you ever get to the bottom of that deposit?
Zombie shovel is still out there looking for revenge duh duh daaaaaaa
We don't speak of the creature you mention in case of it rising again
Give Fern 1 & I'll give Markie TWO!! Nice Video Chris!! Cheers JJ
Yo Chris hitting the mighty Yuba river tomorrow, wish me luck!
Thank you
2:00 she’s warning you there’s a Bigfoot nearby
Always a good day Chris!
Cough... Trommel....cough...and maybe a cheeky little excavator
Good stuff!
Flat Pack Fern! Works on two levels that one..lol
such a cute pup...
Haha nice. Haven’t broken a shovel in a while because you bought the best lol. (And you probably stopped using it as a crowbar)
Damn those bits man 🙂
Got my Fern fix! Yay! So...why would there be so little black sands...a fluke spot without tin?
I really don't know. I can't work it out.
Nice! Be well. UK.
If possible maybe a yabbi pump would pull up the surrounding gravel?
I saw a lot of garnet in the pan, is that common?
Not garnet, cassiterite, tin ore.
Remember when you had a dream about a location. Is this bottomless channel the same thing?
Hey Chris great video just a quick question what size would be a good pump for home sluiceing on a little 6 inch gold rat with dream matt just a little home project
Where did you get that basket?!!! Been looking everywhere for one like it. Awesome vid as always 👌
If ya can't find one try going to 2 dollar shops you can pick up round plastic laundry baskets that do the same job
Thanks@@gadzee506, I'll see how I go. Been thinking about just making one if I can get round to it.🤙
U made a Jostlin/Russell
The process 🤘
yay
I’m building a recirculating sluice and was looking at a pump that looks exactly like that one. How many gallons per minute is that one?
This one is 1100. I use everything from 500 to 2,000
@@VoGusProspecting have you ever thought of trying to make a pneumatic ram water pump chris? no power source needed then?
Gold hog actually sells that pump in a kit with hose and wire and battery clamps. It’s 1100 gph
Here's a legit question maybe you should check up the banks a little bit because if that goes just sitting there and it looks kind of coarse to me but I am seeing it on camera maybe just maybe that spots where it's sniping
Hi Chris, please tell me the name of that table you like rather than a blue bowl, great video mate
Its called a Miller Table.
Chris ever run into an inland taipan snake in the bush?
I actually am padding my little dog behind the ear as yoy said that
Keep following.

VOGUS! 👍
On the last several videos I have only been exactly 0.01 grams off every time and it’s scaring me

That's a feed brook not reedy creek thow right???
If you shut it off, and not clean out, how do you keep from getting those air bubbles off? Ignore them?🤣😂
Hum Could this be a Honey Hole Chris " ? " I wonder 😁 , Sweet Find 👍 . SKK .

Admit it brother...your brain comes up with possible reasons to go catch a few flakes and play in the woods. lol
I’ll guess .58 g back to the reveal

Tell us a bow hunting story
Do you ever go through that gravel to check for nuggets
Couldn't find the bottom
@@VoGusProspecting i meant you shiv out so much with your basket and just toss it to the side do you ever go through that for bigger nugs
