Since there are "only" 8 assigns per patch, it is a good idea to have your pedal turn on / off a relevant effect before consuming one of the 8 precious assigns. Another technique is to use the channel select to it's fullest potential. For example, you could put an OD, preamp, EQ and delay onto channel B, then with the num switch, you could simply engage channel B for your lead sound, and you haven't used up any assigns and they can be used for other things.
GT100 - How to Set Up clean sound and wah-wah sound easily using pedals i saw your Wah Activation Assign youtube video but some things are not clear. 1) What is the difference between your method above versus assigning clean sound and wah-wah sound in GT100's foot pedal #1 and #2 respectively? 2) What I would like to achieve is to switch between clean sound and wah-wah sound easily without having to create wah-wah sound on pedal#2. Hey there, @Johnny Solipsis 😊 Thanks for your comment and question - I appreciate it! The Sub Expression gives you the option to add another, external Expression pedal to the GT-100. It's the same with the Sub CTL. For example, if you only want the onboard Expression pedal to control volume, then you can add another Expression pedal and use that one for Wah or other things. That's the function of it. I hope this helps. Let me know if you need anything else. Cheers!
Hey, great info!!! Thanks so much. So I’m looking to replicate the pitch shifter by using the exp pedal. Toe=1octave higher, heel=actual pitch. Any thoughts on this?
Hello, men! Good tutorial, but I cannot to find an answer - where I can to set a volume range when a pedal not "switched on" FX? Can u help me with that? I want to define it for one preset to rule a volume when used guitar as a second and for back part
@GuitarNTabs yeah, sure! If simplify - I want to range volume from 30% when pedal totally released - to 100% when totally raised, on some separate preset. Is it possible?
@@coverslyfestyle8470 - Hi again. I'm very sorry for my late reply, I've been behind on answering comments... Aha, I see. Leave the Volume Curve at Normal. That should do it. Again, I'm sorry about my late reply. Best regards.

Hello brother I have a question? Kindly help me out. How I can adjust paddle for octave solo playing. Suppose I play in fifth fret 3rd string & when I push paddle the solo automatically goes to higher octave. Suggest please
Hi, You could use the Pedal Bend fx or perhaps the pitch shifter. You'll have to experiment with it, since some tweaking is required. I hope this helps. Best regards.
Hey there, @Nagesh Cavatur. Happy Holidays 🎁🎄 Hmm, that would probably not be easy.. The GT-100 has an effect called "Guitar Sim" - it can be found in the FX-1 and FX-2 block. There is an option to select S --> H - which means it will take a single coil pickup and give it the characteristics of a humbucker.. I haven't used it much, and it will probably not sound that much like a humbucker... since it's not a humbucker guitar.. but give it a try, and see what happens 😊 Experiment with it, and tweak the different parameters. Have a wonderful christmas 🎄🎁 Cheers!
@@GuitarNTabs Thanks, I am already doing this. Just wanted to know if there was some special setting for achieving this effect. Please let me know if you crack it. A Merry X'Mas and Happy New Year to you.
@@cavaturnagesh - Okay, that's great. Well, no.. No special settings, etc. If you really want a true humbucker sound, then you'll need a guitar equipped with humbuckers.. It's as simple as that. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too, Nagesh 🍻👍
My problem is that when i go to write the minimum calibration all the way down and write it just says "out of range: set again". But the pedal is simply depressed to the minimum. Just normally, no crazy force or anything! What can I do? It ruins everything?!
Hi there. Thanks for your comment and question. Check to see, if any global parameters are set differently from the factory settings, or perhaps try a factory reset of the unit. That's where I would start, to see if that solves the issue. I hope this helps.
Hi there, I have a little problem. Usually I made like here for the calibration. But in these days I have some problem with the pitch and when I'm going to calibrate the pedal, the screen say "out of range" and I cannot calibrate yet :( do you think that if I try to dismount the pedal and reput everything in order it will be work.
