Thank you for this interfacing tutorial, Ali! Perhaps it's worth mentioning that not all European countries use the term Vilene for Freudenberg's excellent interfacing products. Here in Denmark, for example, as indeed in Germany, it's called Vlieseline. I find that Vilene/Vlieseline S320 substitutes well for the lightest polyester Pellon quality, and recently I have found a light weight woven interfacing that I believe corresponds to Pellon SF101. It's called Vlieseline G700.

Great descriptive video on interfacings. Currently making your Sofa Station organizer & I used a product I’m very familiar with called Soft & Stable layered between base front & back. Using 505 spray adhesive to obtain smooth application, the machine and hand quilting turned out beautifully. Hand stitching with 12 wt Pearle Cotton could only be done a single stitch at a time but patience & persistence resulted in a pleasing result. I’ll begin adding pockets & binding tomorrow.

Yay - great to hear you're making the Sofa Station. By Annie's Soft & Stable foam is great for this! x Ali
