what software do you use to create your musics ?
Biggest regret in life: that Rite of Blood doesn't exist as an actual DLC to an actual Night of the Hunt game.
I've actually tried some preparatory works for designs of borne in blood and NotH's main areas and bosses, same for game mechanics and the main questline I thought of; but it's not like I'll ever finish the design bible or even make it into a real game, I'm not Micolash-tier mad.

If there's still any doubt that this song is about Annalise's child, it begins exactly where the Bloodborne track "Queen of the Vilebloods" ends.

I tried making Gwyar some time ago, but instead it was some kind of parassitic blood-sucking organism that grew out of Annalise

The thought of a child pulling it's mother by the umbilical and dragging her around the arena is fucking grotesque.
Would fit well with the mythos esque universe.

fun fact: gwyar means blood, at least this is the closest etymology that have something to do with bloodborne I can find.

she gave birth to a son of blood, an eldritch, morbid child of shapeless horror, filled with a endless thirst for blood, who've consumed great part of Yahrnam.
A unsympathetic Great One.
Something like Aldrich, just flash-like made with loads of bload dripping from her, and without the Queen's upper body at the top of her.
Or, better say, a bloody Shoggoth.
Perhaps he crawls from the large sort of bowl-like vessel which serves as his place of rest/throne.

Alex Roe, your music is some of the best writing inspiration I've found here! The nuanced melodies and often high focus on atmosphere truly captures the way Soulsborne defines it's storytelling as a series. They're seriously missing out on a true opportunity not offering you a position on their art team.

Dregs. Many people assume they mean Blood Dregs.
But what if this thing is something else?
What if it is the last remnant of a world fallen to darkness, built from the dregs of that world’s human souls? After all, we bear witness to Soul Arts in the Living Failures boss. Perhaps it’s not too strange to assume that perhaps Gwyar is the last remnant of Lordran.
And even more frighteningly... perhaps it is the reincarnation of a monster, a horrible man who through his gluttony and lust for power became something far more and yet far less.
After all, Aldrich did foresee an Age of Deep Seas... doesn’t that sound a lot like Bloodborne?

This is a very interesting theory / spin-off I'd like if suddenly Miyazaki revealed how Demon and Dark Souls along with Bloodborne and even Elden Ring are actually connected!!!

I’m curious, when you write these tracks do you have an idea how the boss fight would go and look?
It depends on the song really. This one started off as a song idea I had and after a couple of minutes I started to think of what would go well with it, then by the end I have a pretty good idea of what it would be like.
So excited for this entire album.
I can't wait to finally be able to purchase this on either iTunes or Google Play.
I don't know why, but, the first section of the song, remembers me to battle of hoover dam

I'm pretty sure it's the high range of a Bassoon, not sure if I double anything up with it but that's the main sound.

Really? I thought after Bloodborne, they stuck to using a choir IRL. Interesting, though I can see why - much easier with this program.
It's weird, I guess it's up to Namco if they get the budget for music or not. Dark Souls 1 had live choirs, then 2 and 3 didn't apart from the credits songs. Live will always be better, Requiem does the epic stuff well but it's not perfect nor can it do everything right. Cinesamples Voxos has a good diverse range, 8dio also released Lacrimosa which has a really nice powerful sound for men and women and can also do soft tones very nicely. At the end of the day it's mostly what you think works for you and the type of music you make.
