With its placement in the album I imagine this boss being the guard dog of Grosvenor Manor. In appearance, Agnes is much like Paarl however the ingenious Grosvenor family have modified the already terrifying beast by installing a Tonitrus generator in its chest cavity and various lightning rods across her back and limbs that allow her to call down true lightning from the sky rather than simply the static from its hairs, thus granting it the ability to weave lightning in a much more potent and deadly way than any Darkbeast before it.
woaw. also: another female name, the fact it's a beast is kinda ironic considering it means "pure"; You always do a wonderful job with the etymology of your names Alex.
The name itself -- while I love the contradiction -- makes me picture some high apostle for the church. Some defining figure of the Healing Church who once stood to protect the very people she and her order doomed, albeit unknowingly. Having taken in the healing blood as much as any other, she feared the consequences of how casually she and all the others had consumed it due to it's miraculous effects, but less than favorable side-effects. Wrought with guilt and fear upon finding the truth, she fled the Church and ultimately disappeared into the night... Only to be found in the Hunter's nightmare, changed for the worse. I imagine she would be some horrible amalgamation of Cthulhu-esque abomination and lycanthrope. As with her name, she'd also likely have some form of holy power, or healing magics, which would likely lead to an interesting Boss fight since it might've been possible for her to heal herself and anti-heal the player. I also feel like the boss arena should -- for some reason -- be a ripped out portion of one of the more aberrant chalice dungeons, and the boss itself to already be in a somewhat transformed state. (Perhaps like Gascoigne, albeit much larger and more malformed until the second phase) Who knows?! She might even be in there somewhat, even if that equates to just nonsensical ramblings, or sobs, or even perhaps, just an endless string of apologies to no one in particular! Then of course the second Phase hits and she transforms into a grotesque beast, with asymmetrical limbs, writhing tentacles and the like. Perhaps even have some form of frenzy affect like the Winter Lantern enemies in the nightmare of mensis. The victory of the boss fight could even have a cut-scene if the creator so wanted, leaving them with some form of closure so as to finally lay Agnes to rest. Dunno about the boss weapon/armor set though, since I'm running on 'bout 4 hours of sleep. Shit was certainly fun theorizing though!
As for a drop, I would say either a special Beast weapon, or a more powerful Beast Embrace Rune. The one Laurence drops has a cool moveset, but the appearance is only that of a regular beast man. The Rune she would drop would make look far more beast-like, and would also have that tentacled, eldritch look, maybe in some of the moves.
The fact that most people here talk about Paarl convinces me that the Loran Abhorrent Beast is slept on. I'm imagining Agnes to be like the Beggar; she's a servant of the Grosvenor family, and actually earns the trust of the Good Hunter. But once you arrive to the Master's Quarters, she stands there, waiting for you, as the moonlight lights her and the room up on her side. Armed with the Tonitrus, she attacks you as a human first, fighting as a typical NPC Hunter. And once she gets to half health, that's when she transforms into a less hairy, more slender version of the Abhorrent Beast, and is also just as aggressive. The main difference is that instead of torrents of wind, Agnes attacks you with streams of lightning bolts if you're too far, and if you're too greedy, she unleashes an electric blast that can oneshot you if you aren't careful.
I imagine Agnes as being more of a hunter than a screaming beast like Paarl. While Paarl goes mental and swipes at you, Agnes actually uses tactics and toys with you, chasing you through a larger boss area more like a whole district of Yharnam.
Agnes was a cleric, right and proper. A member of the healing church, high in rank. But the beast blood changed her. As it did Ludwig, as it did Gascoigne... and as it did to the beggar. Perhaps she herself was a great Church Hunter, on the level of Ludwig in terms of badassery and power. But she changed, and became a frightening Darkbeast, and brought havoc to the streets until her former comrades drove her into the caves below Yharnam. A sliver of her sanity remains, and that is what holds her there. Perhaps it’s time we put her out of her misery.

I've got to say, listening to you from the beginning, your work has made an insane improvement! Not say you earlier work is bad, I just found it all had a similar progression into high notes making a lot of the songs seem samey, but this stuff is really incredible and really captures the atmosphere of bloodborne
I suggest this bossfight to be situated in an open area during the storm, so her most powerful electric spells will be followed by visible lightning flashes on the horizon.
I just love your work. It's not easy to find a such style on the web, your work is unique and amazing. Powerful and beautiful. I think From Softwar (or other game studios with this kind of atmosphere) should absolutelly hire you, it would be a greate profit for them. The remixes you do are sometimes really MUCH better than the original songs.

A spidery flurry of skeletal hands crackle with lightning, filling the hallway behind them. The winding corridors are choking. Dodging the beast's attacks are stifled, intersections with other hallways provide relief, forcing it to double back around pillars and posts gives an opening to strike. Now at the center of the writhing mass you can see the skeleton of a young woman. A tattered dress still clings to her body like the foul strands of beast fur. You're struck by an undulation of skeletal limbs emanating from the creatures core. Both you and your prey are critically wounded. You pour the last of your strength into a maneuver your predecessors at the Hunter's Workshop have called "getting greedy." You deliver a final flurry of attacks just before the darkbeast can strike. The Hunter stands victorious. In the vicinity the tattered dress set can be found. Reading the item description says of the abomination, "Agnes's womb rejected the implanted child of blood in a most peculiar fashion. Whether it was the girl's body or the procedure itself which caused the complication is hard to determine, especially given the host's protests throughout."
I actually created a character a few months ago named Old Hunter Agnis, and decided to make him Darkbeast while thinking up of some backstory. Actually, I created that character after listening to Beast of Braildron for the twentieth time. Kinda a shame that I deleted the character after awhile went by. I'll definitely have to bring him back now, though the run through the Hunter's Nightmare at a low level is gonna be a pain to do again. XD
The door to the ballroom explodes outwards, and a most hideous beast emerges. The creature is massive, it's hunched back just reaching the balconies of the second floor. It's black fur is greasy and matted, the claws stained with old blood, and a horrifying face almost like that of a human's leering at you with empty sockets. From your place on the floor you can see it's chest has been ripped out, ribs broken and wires burrowed deep into the creatures flesh. Some king of metal contraption spins with blue lightning, sending power into the beast, and creating arcs of blue bolts around its fur. The creature stares you down for a moment, then roars and charges at you. Fortunately, you were just close enough that you roll away and scamper under, and back into the ruined ballroom.
Hello! Is it possible to use your music in things that I create if I payed for the music on Bandcamp and gave credit? Your songs truly catch the feeling of the bloodborne music, something that I seldom see with other artists.
You could totally write little poems or stories in the description, to give the songs a little background. Like lore descriptions. Also, I've wondered, what software do you use? And what instrument sample packages? Or are these just really high quality synths.. or maybe even someone actually playing? How do you do it?
I had ideas but I think it's better when people imagine them. Some people read into the names a bit and get an idea of what I might have been going for. The music is all made on computer, I use sample libraries which are instruments that have been recorded live and scripted to be used like MIDI instruments. I work in FLStudio just clicking away with the mouse. Samples that cover this album are mostly Cinesamples, 8dio Requiem Choir and Embertone Violin.

Would be a neat boss mechanic that when Agnes is staggered, you can attack the generator and break it to reduce her Bolt damage.
