We sometimes find especially on extended systems where the existing system is in copper and the new is in plastic. Where the plastic is connected to the copper you can get a build up of sludge, magnetite whatever. Which reduces or blocks the flow. Try your thermal imaging camera it may show you if it is blocked. You can run up to 15000btu’s 4.3kw on 15mm depending on distance and bends etc
To all you just starting guys in the industry this a great channel that teaches and is good watch 👍 55 now just appreciate a top tradesman giving his knowledge
My youngest child is 30 and it doesn't get easier. I once thought I'd be loaded when they were all out of disposable nappies 😂 I've left London now after working there 36 years. Happily doing property maintenance in the sticks part time. All the best to you and your family in 2024👍👍
I can't see 1 rad & 1 towel rail being a problem for 15mm pipework. My guess would be a kink in the plastic pipe or partial blockage. Keep up the good work 👍
Hi CP. I got the Toptes sniffer on your recommendation, its brilliant mate ,much quicker than the well known makes and easier to read. Happy new year to you and your family mate.👍👍
Happy and healthy new year to you and your family Just out of curiosity If you ever had to change the motorised valve body, would you need to buy new inserts or could you use the old one, how easy would it be to come out as it was a bit tight to get in. Hope it makes sense
Im only a level 2 student but zone valve manufacturers really need to innovate. They should come with union style fittings as standard and clip on and off cables. Make plumbers lives easier. 😊
Do you heat the system up with the boiler when you do this? And leave the boiler running. Also when you heat up with the heating element in the flushing unit will that not only heat the water up in the unit and when you start pumping it around it will drop because the heat in the radiators are cooler? Just curious to see how it works because I was thinking of getting one ✌️
On this occasion I isolated the boiler and just let the machine do its thing, but if I'm flushing through the boiler then yes I'll also let it run to add extra heat. What you said is correct, it will cool down as it circulates but as you isolate each rad it does pick up heat again. Definitely worth the investment 👌🏾
Happy New Year! Thanks for your support this year! Please don't forget to LIKE & SUBSCRIBE 🙏🏾

Yes a few people have suggested this, which is looking like the more likely cause. Thanks 👍🏾
Just balance them? If the wall gets hot there's probably flow.
Happy new year to you and the family .
I look forward to more videos from the channel in 2024 . Keep up the good work please

👍👍🤜
Happy new year Tony 🙌🏾 hope you've had a good one!
Just needs the lower floors restricting to push the flow up, can pull 12k btu of 15mm , need a 6 m head pump too bro
Nice one 👍🏾
Prob more likely a kink on the two pipes going up to 3rd floor. 15mm should be enough to feed two rads.
Quite possibly 👍🏾
Happy New year to you and yours thanks for good information Andrew
Thank you Andrew, happy new year to you and your family too!

Happy new year mate, yes you can get them out. Would have a pry them out with a flat head but it would still work 👍🏾
Spend as much time as you can with the family mate, time passes so quickly
Tell me about it, they're only young but it's already flown by!
mate...the times when your kids are that age are the best
They definitely are, I can take the sleepless nights with the cuteness🥰
Hello mate
From where you buying the motorise valve adaptor seems clever
Thank you and happy new year.

@@cputilitysolutions 👍 great video good advice also
That D2 pipe is so bad. Another example of the fitter not knowing what they are doing. 😂
Yup!
Happy new year 🎉🎉
I’d guess the builders put penny valves in for easy use.
I’m not convinced with the clever coupler thing.
Happy new year to you too mate 👊🏾
