How random & heaven sent to find this video after finding this at my local Goodwill 2 years ago. I have a organization company & was dissatisfied with the modern vacs I purchased & this one is definitely magical. It gets the job done & I only paid $12 for it. I'm just now discovering all the ways it can be used & over the moon with excitement!
I still have a Kenmore magic blue just like the one in your video same blue and black color and it still works with cleaning my carpet and hard floors but it was my aunt's own the thing is she gave it to me and my parents as a gift
I have this vacuum. Am having trouble with the vacuum bags. The dirt/dust/etc being vacuumed up is going outside the bag. Just put a new bag in, vacuumed the house, checked and yep, it’s full of yuck in the area outside the bag once again. What’s causing this? 4:37
hmm been a while since i had one of these but...was there a springy like clip at the top of it? I'd guess that's whats preventing it from closing make sure your bag is attached to that properly.
I did use the clip and had the bag flush with the suction hole. we followed all the directions in the instruction manual but still cant get it to close...

Well there was the DX version which had a powerhead. I think the main weakness of this machine was the bags the collar isn't very secure against the inlet and the quality of the bags is pretty meh

Cool. They're quite powerful for their size, now if they just had a better bag docking setup....

I don't have a fix for you unfortunately. It's just a poor connection design really.
my step dad has one of these and we were trading out the old bag for a new one but the safty feture isnt letting us use the new bag... any tips?

Oh don't worry about it.
I got the same vacuum, but the only real downside to these, you can't get a powerhead for it.
