Been using lipbalms long-term, Laneige lip sleeping mask is still the best so far. DHC is nice for like a few days then it becomes bad and drying for your lips.
@@liskim3888 I'd say Paw Paw Ointment will be a good choice, though it isn't exactly a dupe. If you're ok with the budget I'd recommend Estee Lauder Lip Repair Potion.
I use Lypsyl lip balm!! And it works GREAT!! I do use the Laneige lip mask but as a lip balm during the day!! Had tried using the Laneige lip balm at night, but saw no difference the next morning, so just stuck with using my Lypsyl lip balm for night use!! I stopped using Carmex because ALL it did was just dry out my lips!! So Lypsyl is my go to lip balm now!! But…I am willing to try OTHER good lip balms as well !!
I was SOO EXCITED when I saw this. Like literally ecstatic bc idk why but even since I was little I have REALLY dry, cracked, chapped lips.. like so bad my skin will even peel off sometimes (well most of the time tbh) & it seems like even if I bite the skin off they're still not smooth underneath .. the dry parts almost even like "bubble up" & make them uneven when trying to apply lipstick. I've used TONS of stuff but tbh, I feel the the more products I've used and tried the worse they get. So I justl leave them alone. Doesnt matter the weather either. They're always like this (some months worse than others though) even when they're not that chapped, dry, cracking, peeling whatever u wanna call it since I have it ALL 🤣😂😤☹😩😭😭 , they're oddly like.. "wrinkly". And no it isnt from age (I'm 30) or smoking (although I'm sure that isnt helping) but they're been like this also since I was young. It's like lines that go through my lips (all throughout them not just a few) but the one that bothers me the most is the one on my. Bottom lip that is directly in the center of it and goes straight down my entire bottom lip. (Picture Angelina Jolie) that's the exact "split" I have. It doesn't sound like a big deal bc it isnt like they hurt or are painful but it makes it basically IMPOSSIBLE to wear any kind of lip products bc they just enhance the lines and look horrible, esp anything matte, smudge proof, lip "stains" or long lasting formulas (which is obv most ppls favs) . & honestly even though it's strange I SWEAR when I do put anything on my lips (like for a special occasion) or even lip balms, it actually makes them WORSE like the next day as far as peeling and stuff. I honestly feel at this point the only thing that'll help me is getting some type of lip fillers to smooth them out. Nothing to make them larger (I have pretty nice decent sized lips? But GOSH if I had the money I'd do it in a second!!! It would be great to be able to wear my fav lipsticks and stuff without worrying how clumpy it looks or how bad it bunches up and sinks into the creases in my lip lines ☹😩. Sorry for the long story lmao I didnt realize it was going this far HAHA! I just wish I could find something out there that would TRULY work. Edit: BTW u have AMAZING lips😍💜

@@eviexxx18 That's awesome to know because honestly, I didn't think anyone else in the whole entire world had my problem, LOL because it's not just one or two things. It seems to be multiple and it seems like no matter what I use it just makes it worse. It might get better or at least look or feel better for a day or two after using a product but then it just starts to peel and get waxy and weird all over again. SMH honestly at this point I have literally thought of getting lip injections just to fill out the lines in my lips and maybe hopefully it will stop some of the issues? I don't even know at this point to be honest.
