    Great tutorial, I noticed that you didn’t vectorize the AI art. Is using it in this way going to pixelate the image on a shirt if we’re going for a 4500x5400 image?

      Great question! This will depend of course on the overall size that you need for printing. We have not encountered any issues using the AI art as part of a design by normal print on demand dimensions, but we always recommend order a sample or a proof before listing or selling commercially. Vectorizing the art is also a good option as you have stated.

      So adding 300 dpi to the finsihed image doesn’t solve the pixelation problem. Some people have thousands of designs so ordering a sample of each design isn’t possible

    Is the AI art from the search on kittl automatically converted into 300DPI because on midjourney it's only 72. Thanks!

      Hey there! Great question, no it is not immediately scaled to 300 DPI, but this will all depend on how large you want the AI art to fill the shirt. In this example, where we are only using as part of the design, and not attempting to make it super large, printing will work with no issue, as you can still export your design at 300 DPI from the export settings. Hope this helps.

    I have a question about the vectorizer feature. I notice when I use the max amount of colors option, my photos don't look quite right afterward. Any tips to help with this?

    • @Kittldesign
      @Kittldesign  9 місяців тому +1

      Hey there! This may be due to the fact that the photo has too many colors, and our current vectorizer only supports a limited amount. We will work on increasing the functionality in the coming months, but a few quick things you can try are adjusting the colors in the photo using our photo adjustments panel (to reduce or desaturate some colors), then export that photo to re-upload it into Kittl, and then use the vectorizer tool. (The reason you need to export your adjusted image is so that the adjustments are "baked in." If you just adjust the photo and hit vectorizer, Kittl is still using the original colors in the photo, so exporting and re-importing creates a new image with new colors. Hope that makes sense!

      @@Kittldesign Thank you for your response. After further looking at my image, maybe I selected to many and the image didn't actually have enough colors to coordinate with 16. I will try your suggestion and I will also reduce my amount down to 8 and see how that goes as well.
