A trick we did was we personalized an tree ornament with the name. On a trip to the states we stopped in Michigan at a "Christmas village" and one store offered hand lettered bulbs...they were pretty cheap and not very good. Our company has a commercial Vinyl cutter and I used a stylize font and cut the kid's names from some old spare vinyl and airbrushed the name with waterborne urethane and then added a clear coat with eye shimmers/clear urethane.... Love you ideas mate, thanks.
Thank you for this informative video! Love your design! I'm just starting out but I had my first request for a refund due to the ornament print being blurry on the ceramic ornament. It was done in pastel colors (birth announcement) any tips to avoid blurriness. Thinking I should stick to more vibrate colors. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you!
Sorry to hear about the refund, but hopefully everything was handled well customer service wise. Making sure the customer is happy is still important! And yes, there are several ways you can avoid the blurry outcome. If you are using AI Images, you can either A) Upscale them in another software to become more crisp, or B) use our vectorizer tool to turn them into vector graphics which will never lose resolution. In addition, make sure you are always exporting your design at 300 DPI, and that you are using the measurements required by Printify or Printful so that you're not uploading an image that's lower then their size requirement. Hope this helps.
What you can do is either utilize the mockup from within Printify, or export that image, import it into the Kittl, remove the background, and then place a background behind it to create your own scene!
I love this approach, thanks for sharing. How do you create your mock ups for Etsy since the design spills outside the circle or the outside of the ornament?
If you utilize the Printify mockups, they are already on an ornament. You can export that image, remove the background, and create different scenes if you like. :)
Well, this is all just great ... now how can you create a mock-up using Kittl with the design that you made here? Forget Place-It ... They have like ... 5 or 6, that's it! And Printify's mock-ups are PITIFUL! I bought several from Etsy but they don't show the hole at the top where the little gold string goes when you place your artwork over it. ANy help with this would be GREATLY appreciated.
How do you customize the order when Printify will be printing. For example, how do you add the name or does Printify add the name when the customer put it into the order?
Great question! Printify has a help page for this, you can find here: help.printify.com/hc/en-us/articles/4483630218641-Can-I-sell-personalized-products-using-Printify- Essentially you have a "fake" initial listing that acts as a stock listing, so that when someone purchases and inputs the text they want into the Etsy field, it sends the order to Printify, but it never actually goes through until you go in and change the design (by adding a duplicate, and updating the artwork, which you can do from Kittl). We'll do our best to put together a tutorial for this soon.
It would be nice if once you used AI to generate an image, the text prompt and style you used remained with the image somehow. You can see that information when you look at "public" AI images, but I can't find where that is saved with the ones I generate. Am I missing something?
We can look into creating separate folders for each style that is rendered, but then you would have a very large amount of folders. Another alternative is to label your generated image in your layers panel. For example "Cat - Watercolor."
Hey there, we just grabbed the image from the desktop, and dragged it over onto the Kittl browser, and once you let go, it will upload to Kittl automatically. Alternatively, you can select "upload" from the left side menu, and upload the template that way.
Hi this is super cool but you go SO FAST. You showed how to download the template and while in printify said "what i do is open that up: but didn't show how you opened? I've been trying for an hour to figure out how to upload the template ha ha and then when you opened it up in printify, the bottom right side of your screen said kiddl so I'm not sure where you are openening it up or how
I downloaded the Printify tempalte, and just dragged the PNG of the template over onto the Kittl Editor, which will automatically upload it. :) The tempalte is just an image you are using as guide.
I have an Etsy store dedicated to ornaments. I’ve only had it about 6 weeks but I’ve made about 45 sales. I love making ornaments and this gave me some good ideas!
What style ornament are you going to create?

Cool! Thanks for sharing. Hope the tutorial was helpful!
I created my first ornament while watching this video. Thanks for sharing.
That's amazing! Best of luck.
Just started my Etsy store three months ago and I’ve only done T-shirts but I’m fixing to get into ornaments so this video is so helpful
Go for it!
I learn something new from you everyday and I’m seriously so grateful. Love the Kittl program, Coffee with Kittl and you! Thank you for your content!

I was looking for how to make this full bleed mockup with the greenery in back. How did you make that? Thanks for your guidance!

working on my first
That's great! Hope it goes super well!
Excellent tutorial! Thanks so much for these. 🙏
You are most welcome!
Loved the video! I'm curious about making multilayer wood ornaments. Can anyone recommend a good supplier for the different types of wood I'd need?
Glad you liked the video! Wishing you success.
Thank You For Your Time and Inspiration!!!

@@Kittldesign I would love to see a tutorial on this. I think this is the tricky part for most of us.
I am curious about the edge of the design that is outside of the dotted line on the printify template...Is there a chance the edge will be distorted?
P.S Thanks for the inspirational video:)
That is something you might have to inquire to Printify about. But from our experience, we haven't seen any issue.
Cheers!
how to save my product from printify as png.... i want to sell at etsy
Typically you upload the PNG to Printify instead of downloading it.
Hi there! Has anyone sold suncatcher ornament yet? Could you provide the name of another POD supplier that has this product?
Hey there! Cool suggestion. We haven't encountered any POD suncatcher ornaments, but that doesn't mean they aren't out there.

I DOWNLOADED THE TEMPLATE HOW TO YOU DRAG AND DROP INTO KITTL?

You have to double click to Unzip that folder from Printify, and then drag the PNG into Kittl.
