Something a little different this time…
When I first listened to "Are we all the same distance apart" I fell in love with this song right away. So I thought I’d give it a try :-)

6 years on, and it’s still possibly the best hardcore record I’ve ever listened to
It's nice seeing something a bit slower but still technical! Shows how versatile of a drummer you are

Oh man didn't realize how damn good the drumbeat was for this song. I know I could always just listen to it, but to see it is a whole other thing. RIP to this band. They really were something special and on the start of something good.

I fucking love Crooks, "Are we all the same distance apart" is definitely one of my favourite album, all the melody and emotion flows really well and i'm really glad that you covered this David, i was expecting either "Schone Seele" or "A Few Peaceful Days" but "Dear Reader" is a perfect song to cover as well. Cheers man!
Great stuff. One of my favorite tracks from the album. Also, really like the way this was shot. I'm not usually a fan of dynamic camera work on covers and playthroughs, but this is tasteful.

The rivets on the hihats give the cymbals such an awesome sound, sounds more full to me when they are closed.
I like the variety of music taste, from really brutal stuff, to Deathcore stuff like Whitechapel, and then tasteful Metalcore. I'm liking it man! There are lots of Metal elitists out there, but this really shows that even someone who likes brutal stuff can still love stuff like this :) Great song choice, too. I'll have to check these guys out.

I'd would've rather you cover up Dance Gavin Dance, Chiodos, Attack Attack!, Bring Me The Horizon, The Devil Wears Prada, Asking Alexandria, Of Mice & Men, Issues, The Word Alive, Escape The Fate, Falling In Reverse, From First to last, Hawthorne Heights, or any other 2000s and early 2010s alt emo/scene or metalcore bands

Honestly, I wouldn't mind something like this if you uploaded more often. You're one of the best drummers I've seen, and when it's months between uploads, songs like this are disappointing. Even the Dave Weckl cover was amazing. This one was just kind of a let down. Meh... it's cool. I shall await the next video. :D

Oh yeah, I get it... it's just that I think he really deserves a lot more attention than he's getting. Everyone wets themselves over Joey Jordison, but hardly anybody (relatively speaking) knows of David Diepold. I think it would help build his fan base if he uploaded more in general. The dude is an absolute monster behind the kit! I dare say he is my favorite drummer right now. So, I'm not trying to bash him. Just want more insane death metal madness, since it's been like 3 months since the last upload. Ready for my Diepold fix, haha!
