    Such lovely clothes! I live in south Texas, and we rarely get to wear what I call "real clothes." It's too hot to layer anything. It's too hot to wear sleeves or anything heavy. It's too hot to wear just about any of the lovely items in your video. I like to look though and do appreciate your insights and suggestions about choosing colors. Maybe my next t-shirt will be a pale pink one!

      I live in central Florida. So its the same for me. There are a few days that I might need a light jacket. But never one of those beautiful sweaters.

      @@bobbiejoyce1402 I think there are a lot of women out there with the same problem. We'd like to look stylish, but it's way too hot to wear anything stylish! My uniform is usually Bermuda shorts and a t-shirt,or Capris and a t-shirt -- and it's boring!

      Central Florida may be hot, humid and difficult to make a style statement without wilting. However, a light vest instead of jacket, with a scarf tied at the bust line instead of the neck, allows for style without weight or promoting additional heat. At my age, a sleeveless dress, or blouse is nothing but horrific because of my "wings" as my granddaughter calls my upper arms. But a flutter sleeve adds interest for any skirt or pant, even belted. The most important thing to wear in any location or weather is confidence and a smile. You'll be stunning. I'm 73 and refuse to give up or give in :)

      Same goes for me in Arizona. Luckily I’m in the northern part that gets cold and snows in winter so I do get a weather break and can don a pretty sweater.

    What about olive skin tones?

    • @EleganceAt60
      @EleganceAt60  Місяць тому +2

      For olive skin tones, incorporating rose tones (like soft pink and rose hues) and jewel tones can really enhance the overall appearance. Rose tones add a healthy, radiant flush, while jewel tones like emerald green and sapphire blue can bring out the natural warmth of the skin.

      Make up colors and turquoise. Turquoise blue looks good on every coloring and ethnic group.

      @@mirjanamilosavljevic4261Olive skin is cool tones so orangey tones are the worst. Olive skins need cool colors. They're usually Summers.

      Warm colors can be flattering for you! Rich shades like emerald, deep teal, warm browns, and burnt oranges will really enhance your natural coloring. Jewel tones, such as emerald and teal, make the vibrancy of your red hair and green eyes stand out, while earthy tones like burnt orange and warm browns create a beautiful, harmonious balance with your skin and hair. I’ll be going into more detail on these color choices in my upcoming video, so stay tuned!

      Medium blue is a surprising choice but amazing with red hair and hazel eyes. So long as it's not too cool a blue. There's a channel called Color Class and the redhead there wears it often.

    I don't think powder blue works with brown hair and eyes

    • @EleganceAt60
      @EleganceAt60  Місяць тому +2

      Powder blue can sometimes be tricky based on your undertones, but it can definitely work with brown hair and eyes, especially when the shade complements your skin tone. The key is pairing it with warm, vibrant accents like gold jewelry or a bold lip color. If you're worried about it washing you out, combining it with richer tones or neutral colors can help balance the look. I'll actually be covering this in more detail in Part 2 of my video! Thanks you for sharing your thoughts!

    Ditch the blue if you have blue eyes….for the makeup etc….
    It’s killing the appearance and colour of the eyes ….you need to bring out the blue colour of your eyes….

      That depends on the interplay between the color of the eyes and the color of the clothes. Women with blue eyes usually have a lifetime of experience knowing what blues to wear and not wear.
