Hope this is of use to anyone trying to find vegan haircare that works! I have dry / damaged hair for reference :-) Bought some Beauty Kubes today (solid shampoo) on a Twitter recommendation + also found aerosol-free shampoo by Corinne Taylor - the plastic free haircare quest is going well xxx
"don't snort your haircare guys" 😂 such a helpful video Becky, thank you! Btw have you heard of Ethique? Their solid products are apparently coming to Holland and Barrett in the UK on the 17th
Haha - top tips :-P I haven't heard of Ethique actually! Just had a look online - sold bars, how cool - will have to check them out when they come to the UK :-) xxx
Loved this line. I love parma violets so would absolutely accidentally snort that. The ethique bars were quite interesting I found. They worked well but didn't last long
I agree on Shampoo Bars😣 Haven't found one which works for my dry hair. I use Banana Shampoo and Conditioner from TBS. The Body Shop has "Bring your bottle back" program in India so I can always return the bottles to them and they will recycle it.
Love Noughty! (The leave in conditioner and the Rise&Shine conditioner) I've only tried the Citrus and Neroli combined leave in and rinse out conditioner from John Masters Organics, but that is AMAZING. Need to try the shampoo too!
I really like dr. Koprinka vegan shampoo ( in a bottle) also for revering bad dye that’s growing out I used herbal dye to make it look like a natural ombré (I live in a place with lots of sun so may not work for UK)
@@BottledBlueOnUA-cam sorry, it is actually called dr.Konopka (suck at names). They have it on amazon. We have it anywhere here in France and I have seen it in Germany and France, but not sure about London. Maybe check for pictures and then look for it when you have the chance
I know how you feel about hair masks. My hairdresser got me started on them, and now I only do masks. I tried going back to a regular conditioner, but my hair was just not the same. It works so much better with a mask. :) I really like the one I use...Formula 18...it's plant based; I can't discover if it's vegan or cruelty free. My hair is very fine, very straight, and gets oily quickly.
I heard a tip that if you add a tablespoon of olive oil to your bottle of conditioner it makes it into a hair mask because the oil permeates the hair and lets the ingredients soak in. It works!
have you ever tried green people's conditioners? i have quite damaged hair as well from dyeing it and it literally transformed my hair! actually got asked last time i went to the hairdresser what i used
No I haven't! I haven't heard much about their haircare if I'm honest - so good to hear it works. I'll have to check it out :-) Love their suncream xxx
I think I've tried a sample of 100% Pure shampoo, I think I remember quite liking it :-) Aveda are usually a 1-3/4 on EWG so pretty good actually in terms of ingredients. My hair loves their stuff! Not all of it, but most xxx
