- We're only a few steps ahead to the final battle. For now, the Stardroids are more of a threat to deal with until the real battle can begin later on.

Way to go! The devs really sold Sunstar as the most powerful robot in the universe when you clearly see the effects of what would happen if some other entity managed to gain even a sliver of his power.
The only reason Sunstar is op is because the player need to fetch the proper weapon in his bajillion weapons to get the weapons who can at least do tiny bits of damage to it.. And while you're distracted well he mess your day up quite badly..

You got to admit, fighting Sunstar is fun once you know how to deal with him. He’s a satisfying boss.
Terra doesn’t play around either.
The twists I didn’t expect of the evil energy were shocking.
Sunstar has to be my favorite boss in all of MM8BDM. It's extremely hard, but STILL possible. Next to the Wily Golem, Terra, Wily Archives, & a certain secret foe, V6's bosses never ceased to amaze me by how great they are. Also, I love Sunstar's reaction when you use time stopper on him. Pure Gold.
Ah yes that. I completely forgot that he acts unamused about being frozen by time, only to realize that he can break out of it.
@@OliverTEENAGER13 Surprisingly, he doesn't do that with Time Slow. Also, it seems that Spark Chaser is the most effective weapon against him, since it can damage him multiple times if fired correctly. Though, that's not saying much, since you don't get it until he's been defeated. Terra can also be stunned using Deep Digger. Strange that he can dodge most weapons, but can't take a chunk of rock to the face.

@@joselia9430 He didn't use it in the video. When the fight takes place though, he reacts when you use time stopper.
Is the secret foe quint or ra moon?
Terra's maniac Iori laugh caught me off guard during my first playthrough, that is one cool reference and seems oddly fitting lol
I've found that while Dawn Breaker is not that useful against Sunstar, it's pretty useful for avoiding the ground attack the evil robot uses during the unwinnable phase.
Just charge it up, jump as high as you can when he uses the attack, and then release it while midair. You will avoid most, if not all of the damaging particles.
Aw, you didn’t keep the Terra “You’re going to Brazil!” Moment.
I did learn something really cool on repeat plays though: Terra can be affected by Time Slow. He also takes a LOT more damage from Deep Digger if thrown at him while he’s flying. Combine the two for massive damage.
He's also vulnerable to the Time Stopper! The way I got past him was to freeze him and cheese the fight by using Top Spin to delete his entire health bar in one pass.

So, did you know that, because this is running on a variation of the DOOM engine, you have a use key?
Why not try it out on a couple of hidden, yet very visible switches in the Mars stage?
I found the timing to dodge his giant laser is when he starts blinking super fast. Jump anytime during then when you aee it and you will be in the air above the laser when he shoots it. Of course, you have to move while in the air too to not get hit when you land.

I should’ve brought more weapons when facing Sunstar. Surprisingly enough, if you only bring the Stardroid weapons, as well as the Mega Man Killer Weapons, thus only having 11 weapons, you’ll run out of energy fast when facing him.

I really didn't get the timing on the switches to the doors, so for the first three i had remote mines, then at the fourth one i used copy vision to keep the clone targeting one and then shot the rest.
(Yeah you can say i suck at timing)
Edit: The final boss is a bit complicated but you'll get the hang of it, so good luck there oliver.

That evil robot, he is same as annoying and stubborn like the other Megaman villains, in fact he is like the rest of the villains, made by the devil itself!
Nah at least rest of the villains knows how to negotiate. This guy just wanted total destruction.

flame sword and slash claw can do a surprising lot of damage on him but you can't do it normally since you can't get close to him without getting yeeted into the wall
BUT when casting some of his attacks he cannot grab you so you can use it to whoop his ass
Me when I saw you needed to use Spark Chaser: Ohhhhhhhh. I thought you needed Magic Card.

Needle cannon deals huge damage against sunstar, you can clear its first phase with it alone.
i don't know why but sunstar reminds me of megaman unlimited's zero in his first phase.

Lucky I fight those bosses in normal difficult and was easy to beat them, just I die a few times, but the final I didn't die

I just stayed aggressive and he never got a chance to use it. Good to know it actually can be Dodged though
What I do is, I wait for him to come near me and move to the side, you might get hit only by a little. Also the moving laser is just sitting for it to come near you and jump but, stay in place.

I want to know, Does Dawn Breaker do any damage to sunstar?
Dawn Breaker isn't really effective against Sunstar. It does damage to the bosses, but not much, since again, Sunstar is tanky as hell.
But using it on Terra can be a bit risky, but still worth it if you want to get up close and personal with him.
Here's a tip:
The mural right before Ra Moon shows something that'll show you a being with a *sword* (Maestro) fighting a bird-like creature (Sunstar).
@@dustinarmstrong1168 I already know that sunstar is (ironically) weak to flame sword. Honestly my thoughts on that was: "........but why"
@@OliverTEENAGER13 Sunstar Hp looks like a Tier 3 Tank level from hp like the strongest Hp bar in the whole game and Dawn Breaker can deal Damage but it's like... i dunno a joke?

If I recall correctly the Iori line was "Konomama de owaran zooo!" which translates to "It was not supposed to end like thiiiis!" I'm running off memory of the SNK wiki, so I may be very wrong.
EDIT: Just to clarify, it's the line uttered when Iori gets KO'd.

You get them as long as your allies don't die. Sounds easy at first, but not when it comes to getting the Ballade Cracker, because of Wind Man and Astro Man obliterating Bass.
As for Sakugarne, you need to dig it up with Rush Search in the Wily Star area.
