Colt Glad to see I’m not the only one riding the struggle bus on my back in the garage. I love the 60g S&B on my 2020. I drove from Denver to Louisville 1100 miles on one tank in ECO mode. Had cruise at about 67 and avg was 25.2

Thanks a lot for this. I hope more people see this as it saved my issue. I did something stupid and put Def in my tank but never started or turned the key so partially saved myself from horror. Had a over full tank of diesel topped off with Def. Instead of disconnecting the line and running the fuel pump through the line to empty the tank, what i did was drop the over full fuel tank with 2 jacks and some "lattes" with my dad and uncle. Worked like a charm. Can't wait to delete it. Now I'm just cleaning up the pump and flushed the tank and putting back together tomorrow. This video helped me start this process. Thank you

Nice Colt... great install video again. My longbed '17 has the OEM 48 gal, which i've been close to 900 mile to empty on the interstate running empty. Seen some soot around those clamps on the exhaust - need some 4" bands - they work like a champ. Good luck with the deer!

Mine said 935 to empty. But that’s from pulling my trailer and ranger for all hunting season. Average was real low. If it’s all interstate or whatever I’m sure 11-1200 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
Great video sir! My F450 came with a 48 gallon tank so just going to 60 would not be cost effective for me, but your install was very informative. I went with a 50 gallon Titan in the bed tank. I lost some bed space, but it is a long bed so no big deal. Keep 'em coming sir!!
24:08 the hinge part of that there check valve needs to be at the top...this a way the fuel has less resistance going into the tank, and is not fighting the resistance of that there hinge...thats a pro tip Son!
Hi Colt have a ? Just installed a 60 gallon from S&B on my 2017 F250. Everything went well but now my fuel guage is blank and miles to empty is blank. Used the Ez Link to reset the tank size and that went on. My truck was made in May of 17. Thank you Steve. BUSH......

I ended up doing this install myself too, so thanks for the great video! I noticed I can’t leave the pump go full throttle anymore either, any chance you think it would be OK by taking that check valve out? Or do you know of another fix? Keep the videos comin!
My man! Glad it helped you brother! Man the only thing you can do is take the check valve out. I have thought about it myself. But I just got 3/4 throttle and I’m good. Maybe I’m the future I will, who knows. It’s a safety thing in case you flip, but I don’t see myself being upside down. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸

I stripped the rear passenger side cage nut when trying to pull it out. I’m afraid to cut the bolt because then I won’t be able to use the truck if i can’t get the cage bolt replaced. I can get the part from Ford but I don’t know if I need to cut into the frame to replace. Do you know if that assembly is accessible if I cut the bolt out?

Question about the end of the video where you said that the larger nozzle won’t work because of the check valve in the filler hose, is that check valve necessary or can we just not use it? Curious if there would be any issues with deleting that part. Thanks!

I ended up doing this install myself too, so thanks for the great video! I noticed I can’t leave the pump go full throttle anymore either, any chance you think it would be OK by taking that check valve out? Or do you know of another fix? Keep the videos comin!
My man! Glad it helped you brother! Man the only thing you can do is take the check valve out. I have thought about it myself. But I just got 3/4 throttle and I’m good. Maybe I’m the future I will, who knows. It’s a safety thing in case you flip, but I don’t see myself being upside down. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
To allow quick filling, why not use the oem check valve from the factory tank?
Just watched the video since i ordered one for my 250 KR and i noticed everyone in their videos is installing the check valve upside down. The hinge should be at the top not the bottom. That is probably going to be the culprit. I'll come back and update what happens when i do mine

I bought passenger door handle and switched it, eliminating the key. I have a 2017 f350 black. Like watching your videos, I too work on my own truck.

I stripped the rear passenger side cage nut when trying to pull it out. I’m afraid to cut the bolt because then I won’t be able to use the truck if i can’t get the cage bolt replaced. I can get the part from Ford but I don’t know if I need to cut into the frame to replace. Do you know if that assembly is accessible if I cut the bolt out?

Question about the end of the video where you said that the larger nozzle won’t work because of the check valve in the filler hose, is that check valve necessary or can we just not use it? Curious if there would be any issues with deleting that part. Thanks!

Did you have to switch out the fuel level sender assembly? Just bought the tank and for 2017 it recommends replacing the fuel level sender assembly.

The S&B 60 only fits diesel models unfortunately. Any clue where I could find a larger tank for my 6.2 gas?

BTW the tank for long beds will fit on our short beds if you remove a couple of deals under the bed as well. At least on the 17-19 I know it will work.
