As a lefty, I knew that last answer. Not because I'm an expert, but because the average person favors the right. Center would come in second, and left would be overlooked... as usual. This would be easy to figure out for any left hander... we know that we're forgotten and ignored. It's just always been a part of our day to day life.

I think Common Knowledge is my favorite of the newer GSN shows; Simple format with great pacing, it encourages intelligence, and this is perhaps the best retro-feeling game show set they’ve built.

LOL! No it doesn't. Have you ever watched the original UK version of The Chase? That is an intelligent game show. The American version of that was awful.

The scoring system for this show is really weird. The early rounds are essentially meaningless by the time you get to the latter ones
i have made some calculations, and i think that the points should be replaced with dollars, and they should give the winning team, like, $200 for every correct answer in the final round; which makes the maximum amount *$2,880* ($80×2+$160×2+$200×2+$400×2+$200×6) for a team which makes it to the finals but not the jackpot

@@tranmanhuc6235 That will never happen with GSN. They have a hard policy of only awarding $1000 to the winning individual/team and $10K ($15K on AMERICA SAYS) for winning the bonus round===done as a way to keep costs down.

I love common knowledge it is just my style I hate they took it off the game show network
I miss game shows that gave bonus money whenever a team didn’t win the grand prize, but still did well for their effort; rather than going by their “new policy” of ‘you either win it all or you get squat’.
Like this show could’ve given the winning team $100, $250, or $500 for every question they got right in the Bonus Round or something like that.

I was gonna say he's doing it for fun....but his net worth is only 7 mil. After being in N Sync you'd think he'd have more money than that. Of course 7 mil is good, but not for him. Timberlake is worth 250 mil. Lance Bass, 22 mil. JC 16 mil. Chris 15 mil. That's nuts because of all the non JT members, Joey is the most well known I think.

The level of difficulty of every question prior to the last one was a like 5(out of 10). The final question was like a 100.
Quiz shows are simple game shows where brains beat(s) brawn while ordinary game shows require both. (In this case, I figuratively refer to brawn as good luck when the literal sense does not apply).

The Volleyballers' $200 question was incorrectly phrased. A pitcher is credited with a perfect game when his team wins with no opposing batters reaching first base. So it is possible (although very unlikely) that he could get 27 outs with no runs, no hits, and no errors while one runner reached base on a third-strike wild pitch that got past the catcher through no fault of the catcher.

Most of the bonus round questions are riridiculously obscure like eels mating in the Sargasso Sea and the most common diameter of a garden hose! Geez why not ask what is the average number of broken Dorito chips in a full size bag? Show must have a tight budget on prize money.
Can somebody replace that voice for the next and upcoming future seasons and episodes? It sounds robotic.
Seeing these game shows as an European is so weird because the concept is really fun but the character of these people comes off as so fake and overly perfect.

That’s because on shows like this, the contestants are coached. They’re told to act a certain way, or told to never say “I don’t know” because it’s bad for television.
Maybe it’s just not as depressing here?
Contestants are screened for a certain personality type, auditioned, and heavily coached.
That pretty much sums up American game shows nowadays.

The MLB answer is wrong. In that scenario the pitcher could still have walked a batter, which would be a no-hitter, not a perfect game.
It could be a perfect game, but the question doesn't say the pitcher retired ALL 27 batters, it just says "if a pitcher retired 27 batters with no hits, no runs and no errors". If a batter was walked at some point, there's still a chance for the pitcher to retire 27 others without giving up a run, which would give him a no-hitter.
