though bleach ofc suffered some pacing issues, to this day I’m still floored by how well they built tension in this arc, both through the manga and the anime. this scene had me at the edge of my seat during my latest rewatch. shiro sagisu’s music and the stellar voice acting rlly brought the ss arc scenes to a different level (I can’t say it’s better bc kubo’s paneling was crazy good in this arc).

I have a observation, I think all Shinigami carry along with other traditional war equipment some Sumi Ink (traditional Japanese block ink) for the use in incantation of Tentenkura but in Tybw we see Rangiku Matsumoto use her in own blood in an emergency for the ritual of drawing it and performing, this shows that some Squads might not have the same Standardised gear... also shows that since Matsumoto didn't need the full incantation, she has gotten stronger...
No she was told to tell every Captain, Lieutenant and the Ryoka. Yoruichi counts as a Ryoka. And Ukitake doesn’t have a Lieutenant because Kaien Shiba died. So his Third Seats were told instead. The woman that said “sister” is Kiyone, one of Ukitake’s two Third Seats along with the man next to her.
This isane's tenkeikura is so much better than rangiku's 2022 tenteikura... is just direct and with no battle feeling. in the last arc kiddo was forgotten
this version is much more intense and basically you can feel how much serious the whole situation is in the plot compared to new version that was very fast and short

No she can’t. Unohana is strong but Aizen is stronger. Aizen wasn’t worried about Unohana and he clearly knew of her power. Only Yamamoto could beat Aizen in a straight up fight without Kyoka Suigetsu. But with Kyoka Suigetsu even Yama couldn’t win against Aizen.

No, she just released Minazuki to heal them up and transport them to safety. Its actually something many fans overlook, but... she was so confident in her ability and Aizen was so scared of her... that she released her blade knowing there was a small chance he was still nearby watching them. But in truth, Aizen was so unsure he would defeat her, he fled. It was the first hint to how disgustingly powerful she was. 🤭

Even in TYBW arc...she could've technically handled his Hogyoku form as Minazuki's bankai form is essentially a form of granted immortality for those in it. So there's very little he could've done against her. Especially given that she could counter kyoka by being fine with being cut.
The funny thing is Aizen could have stopped this message from being sent out by either killing Unohana and Isane (no Unohana is not stronger than Aizen) or he could have simply turned off everyone’s ability to hear the message with Kyoka Suigetsu.

Its actually something many fans overlook, but... she was so confident in her ability and Aizen was so scared of her... that she released her blade knowing there was a small chance he was still nearby watching them. But in truth, Aizen was so unsure he would defeat her, he fled. It was the first hint to how disgustingly powerful she was. 🤭

@@xare2763 At this point in the series, no. She would've washed him in seconds. Even in TYBW arc...she could've technically handled his Hogyoku form as Minazuki's bankai form is essentially a form of granted immortality for those in it. So there's very little he could've done against her. Especially given that she could counter kyoka by being fine with being cut.

The funny thing is Aizen could have stopped this message from being sent out by either killing Unohana and Isane (no Unohana is not stronger than Aizen) or he could have simply turned off everyone’s ability to hear the message with Kyoka Suigetsu.
