Augustus Maywho is doing theses dirty methods on not only to everyone in the Whobilation but to the Grinch as a kid and now as an adult. 2:29 Not only that the Augustus is not being fair in the Competition he chose 1:28 Martha May to be the winner instead of 2:17 Betty Lou Who as it said on the card. Also Betty had the most lights in this contest.
Okay, I get that she is upset, but the whole point of the film is that Christmas is not about contest lights, so I guess Betty just moved on in the end, especially since she and Martha worked together.
