I see a lot of BM 800 in amazon here in the US. Is BM800 a brand or just a type of mic?Also the star maker karaoke app doesnt work in laptops so I have to use an ipad or iphone only... so there apps are only for laptops right?

Need help. While configuring my mic volume and changing things in voicemeter. As I have windows headset loudness equalization on which increases the volume and I can hear the hiss and while it's off I cant and can increase mic volume further before hearing the hiss. So should i configure my mic with equalizer on or off.

Hey Norcla😁, Love your content from Kenya, 🇰🇪... I own a bm800 but mine is kind of different cause it has a volume knob on the mic (presuming it has a built-in pre amp), and its cord has two outputs, one is usb and the other is the normal 3.5 jack. I read on a description on another similar mic that it should not be used with phantom power. So i was asking if i trying using phantom power will spoil the mic(cause the noise it too much😂) and if i change the cord of the mic to a one output (xlr to 3.5mm) will have any difference to the mic... Would appreciate you answering 😊
Hello new Kenyan friend! If your BM800 came with a manual, please consult it. In general, if you're using the USB functionality, just use USB. If you're using the XLR functionality, you'll need phantom power.
@@NORCLA Hey again😊, The mic is XLR. But it has to input ports to the computer, usb and the normal mic jack to the computer. The manual does even explain anything really 😂 It's just like one page saying how good the mic is
