Always knew Wendler as extremely knowledgble(5,3,1) but when i heard him say he held every rep with integrity to the highest level that speaks volumes to your ability to lift heaviest weights possible💪
Keeps weight off the barbell to have the hindsight to keep wear and tear off of them at that young of a age is a blessing while progressing. Continue this into college ull be lucky to have this guy as a coach.
I appreciate this conversation. With all the dopey goofy shit goin on in schools kids are severely lacking in direction. Its good to see that some coaches and instructors are on the sides of these kids.
So I agree with the theory that groups that hold themselves to a very high standard and to belong you have to rise to the level to be accepted yield unbelievable results in the long run
I’m sorry, but rep is a… reputation? There’s no connection in that, it probably sounds “cool” to try and make a connection between the too, but it doesn’t make sense. If he was try to say for each rep make sure to do it with a clean proper form with purpose (instead of just throwing the weight) and actually using it in a controlled way,,, then yea that makes sense.
Wendlers a man amongst men, great podcast with all 3 guys

To move weight you need size, fastest way to size is methodical perfect reps consistently over time.
This is the most important lesson people need to learn. The rest is just details.
