I have a focus 2014 and I love the manual climate controls much better than the smaller base controls of the 2015 focus and up. I also have the option of touch screen and SYNC command controls for climate and other features, but I prefer the manual control setups to these in most cases.
The Ford Focus was absolutely NOT "all new" for 2016... It received some tweaking of its exterior & interior along with some other technology upgrades, etc. 2012-2018 were all essentially the exact same car with the exception of the previous updates I mentioned above... God bless.
Couldn't agree more on the side view mirror with inset blindspot mirrors. They work extremely well and a nice simple solution without the added cost and complexity of say Honda's camera and radio screen to accomplish the same job. The car really works well in hatch form from a utility standpoint and with shorter driver/passenger, the backseats are livable.. The 4cyl. with the manual would get my vote, just wish they would offer the 6spd manual.as a combo. It really is a good driving car and totally suprised me how well it does handle.
modmatt1 the sixth gear is waste as these are square bore engines and need the revs. It does get 2mpg better at highway speed but if you hit a hill your downshifting. And my 2.0 with gets 42 on the highway, why would anyone fall for that lower power engine scam

Are these all loud when you start them 🤔 almost like exhaust leak ...
My 2016 has 158,000 kms zero problems
George, how is the DCT? I had a 2012 and got rid of it after a year because I hated the DCT.
MotorCity J - That was the very first year Ford came out with that transmission (for the Focus). It's been vastly improved since.
And whats the button left side of the shifter 🤔 extra parking break ?
heated steering wheel

My brother wants to know if he should buy a 2016 focus. You think he should?
@ Rex Gamewell I bought one with low miles (2016) and I have had no problems with it (over 50,000 miles now).
This guy came to fly a plane and ended up driving a focus.
In a year this model will be $12k.
Sad, but true. Word about the DCT has certainly made it's way around. Honda or Mazda around here hold their value so much better.
modmatt1 - Mazda's don't hold their resale all that great. Toyota's (and Honda of course) do.
Was just at the dealership 4 years later.
Ford Focus se $12,995
6 years later and Im about to purchase one with 20k miles for $13k
This car is a Macy..🤗❤🎥
NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL A BETTER REVIEW... 1 AMERICAN MADE 2 BETTER UNDERSTAND PERSON 3 LEFT HAND DRIVE LIKE IT SUPPOSE TO BE..
