Japan is truly the world leading coutry in terms of how to use plastic wraps even if not necessary ... I mean srsly e.g. for the sakura mont blanc you had to to go through 5 kinda plastic/paper wraps in order to get to this beautiful cake/cupcake :D . Just crazzzyy!!!

The expiration date doesn't mean it'll go bad on that day. Especially if it's something like a dry baked good...a cookie or cake. I'm a recent sub and this is my 2nd vid of yours. It's very interesting and I'm liking it.👍

It is sad to see the tourism is affected so badly in Japan. I enjoyed Japan very much. I have plan to go to Japan in November, hope everything is stable by then. Can't wait.
I'll look for this place the next time I go to Osaka. That area was so packed with tourists last summer, so we just did what we needed to do, then left quickly. I feel bad for the shop owners, but maybe the local Japanese can enjoy the area while the tourists are away.

We bought the Mochi as a souvenir and ended up eating it.. we loved it so it’s good... There were few discounted items when we visited last March as well but mostly keychain and non-food items....
Thanks for another nice video. I am from Wisconsin, USA where were you at when you were in the states? I bought different Japanese candy for my friends at work and for family. Japanese taste is very different from American. Some were ok but not as sweet as American candy and others they did not like at all. Good to see you and you do good work.

I've been visited Japan twice. Tokyo & Hokkaido. My top things to spend is food souvenirs especially the cookies, mochi and green tea. Ishiya is the best chocolate cookies I ever tasted. Tokyo Banana is our favourite too. Right now we still hoardings the cookie boxes , cuz the boxes are so pretty to be thrown away.
Wow Tsutenkaku gift store did not have brown boxes everywhere when we went it was such a pretty and bright store :( but they’ve gotta do what they’ve gotta do!

This reminds me of buying half priced chocolates the day after St. Valentine's Day when I used to live in the US.
I'll look for this place the next time I go to Osaka. That area was so packed with tourists last summer, so we just did what we needed to do, then left quickly. I feel bad for the shop owners, but maybe the local Japanese can enjoy the area while the tourists are away.
