Why only 1 tournament a month in career mode like TS4? I want to play a whole season with all the M1000 tournaments so I can complete the 'sunshine double', enter slams and some iconic smaller tournaments like Queens and Dubai, 16+ tournaments. Fifa don't do a season of 10 matches! Gameplay is good, graphics are okay for me, it's all about the gameplay. Licensed courts are fantastic for all slams and M1000.
Gameplay is great - it really is but the characters (especially many of the pros) still need a LOT of work. What REALLY needs to improve though is the career mode. Having the "calendar" be monthly rather than weekly makes it incredibly unrealistic and the energy/stamina system that is currently implemented forces you to miss half the season to take a WHOLE MONTH off to recover enough stamina to play every other month. Even with homes and support staff, the current stamina system AND only monthly tournaments is ruining the career mode. Please fix it as you already have the gameplay locked-in.
Transmission is now difficult in the new update and this is the thing I like, and for the second step, strong shots must be less fast because it is impossible to catch the ball even if you are in the middle of the field, and endurance must affect powerful shots and reduce energy so that it is a game of intelligence and not just power
I don't like the overuse of grunts especially on 2nd balls hope we can remove it apart from that all ok hopefully (should have standard ps5 physical copy tomorrow)

Guys, two pieces of constructive criticism. The first thing is something that everyone will notice. The visuals are not up to current standards guys. These visuals would have been sufficient if this were a PS4 generation title but it's been 13 years! There are all kinds of glitches and issues too with the visuals. This is an area of major weakness. The more important issue, however, is the career mode. Your career mode has NOTHING to do with real world tennis or how a real tennis season progresses. Real pros play 20-30 tournaments per year. Your game only allows a maximum of one tournament per month and you can't even really do that because you need to reset every other month or you get injured. To be blunt, the career mode is just a copy-paste of Topspin 4's career mode but with microtransactions and VC (and all that other crap that didn't exist back in 2011) added. If you want to see an example of what tennis fans would like to see, look at PGA 2K23 and how they have represented golf. We need the game to mirror the real thing guys. Why buy the licenses to all the real grand slams and Masters 1000 tournaments if you are going to structure your career mode in such an unrealistic gamey way?

I like the game, it plays well, like a refined Topspin 4, but the player creation needs to be tweaked. The parameters for the sliders need to be extended so that you can adjust the faces more. And we need a Djokovic lookalike haircut so that we can create one ourselves. I would also like the option to play from the top end, which seems to be only available in offline exhibitions. Thanks!!
Still need more than 80 players and one tournament per month... in the career mode. This kills all form of real tennis immersion experience. Gameplay is good. Season concept is interesting and keeps interest in the game. Good financial model. But must address the career mode which for me is WAY TOO BASIC. It's basically an online game and that will not be sustainable on the long run.
We really need a patch for career mode! Playing one tournament a month isn't immersive, and the fatigue isn't realistic at all. There's so much missing from the career mode, do what's necessary 🙏🏼

Excuse me if I will write a long comment, but I want It would be the best possible tennis game in the world. In my opinion the base of the gameplay is almost perfect, but there are issues which are slightly grave. First of all the graphic, which should be a modern one, but I hope that this problem will be solved with a patch in the future, the other ones are the players' grunts, which aren't the real ones and look terrible, then the characters' construction, completely unrealistic, like Sharapova, or Alcaraz, who seems bitten by bees, than the career, which lacks of features which could be taken from the main game of the 2K, like the possibilty to have your personal scan face, or the storyline and the cutscenes. The last one is the roster, which contains not enough players and also because of this, starting the career would result completely useless, and It's really bad that a game with a so high potential doesn't have players, like SINNER, DJOKOVIĆ, RUBLEV, I would put initially a high roster of players and then I would add other ones with the following seasons. I'm not angry with the game, but I want to give my first impressions and advices because I really believe in this game and I only want that this game will be the best tennis game in the market, infact I trust you because I believe you will listen to the community

When you create your player you can choose how often they grunt and which shots they grunt on

You can actually have a lot of short rallies if you set up your shots right. I have the game and have been playing a ton.
