I'm a complete neutral so this is a genuine question, how do MK even have proper fans since they're barely even a real club. Is it all young lads from Milton Keynes? They were founded less than 2 decades ago and just stole someone else's name. Like I said I'm a neutral, I just found out about this Derby a few days ago and it's such a bizarre situation
Most fans are from Wimbledon fc or young but at least the team still gets fans behind them each weekend and tbh at least the club didn't die we kept the team going and now we are following mk all the time because its our team and the team we support

But it could be (almost) worse, MK could be full of plastic Man Utd and Liverpool fans and there are enough of them already 😂

@@ThisIsReMarkable well yeah. AFC Wimbledon are obviously the actual continuation of Wimbledon FC. MK are (in my book at least) a brand new club, there's nothing wrong with that except that they haven't earned their spot in the pyramid. It's obviously not their fans fault but that is how it is.

And from my understanding, it was the management of Wimbledon FC that abandoned its fans and sold to Pete Winkelman hence AFC Wimbledon being formed 2years before MK Dons rebranded. I also remember 5000 fans protesting in anger about the move so I hardly think they abandoned the club. Thanks for your mature reply but clearly you’re about as informative as a carrier pigeon.
