What a great, helpful series you have produced! I really enjoyed your take on this and the way you conveyed it. Now on to the theme and character analyses :)
These deep dives really help me think more critically about my reading, and put a few things in perspective. I feel like an archeologist when I'm following along! I have never had to read Shakespeare in school back in Manila. I also thought I was too dumb to understand the language as a teen. I suppose I'm in a point in my life where I'm rediscovering my love for the arts and breaking free of old narratives. Your series inspired me to write personal essays on Hamlet. Thank you!
Very nice to hear, Sotha. Thanks for the kind words. When I first encountered Shakespeare, I thought I was pretty dumb, too. Our efforts to understand great art pay great rewards, don't they?
It's kind of funny that we teach these great works to people who have not had enough life experience to fully grasp the profundity of them. It's like lighting a candle for a blind man lol.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this detailed explanation, may God preserve you. If you do not mind, can you download this file so that I can read it and follow up with you? I will be very grateful
Thank you for the kind words, Mostafa. You're very welcome. I can send you copies of all the PDFs you see in the videos, but I ask that people make a minimum donation of $5 through Super Thanks (click the 3 dots below the video) or through Patreon (link in the description). Then send me an email at shakespeare.walkthrough@gmail.com. Thanks again:)
Not sure I agree with all of it but an excellent analysis - thank you!! (Is there even a right answer??!?) . Brilliantly put together though and explained.. 👍

@@Laocoon283 There's definitely some truth to that. Shakespeare is a much richer experience for me now than it was when I was a student.
thank you so much, you saved my grade🙏🙏🙏
You're very welcome, Keenza. Glad you found it useful:)

Thanks, D. No right answers, that's for sure. All we can do is draw plausible conclusions based on the evidence we find. This is my take. Good luck:)
