You have NO idea how this has HELPED me! My daughter and I were getting ready for a 10k and due to my shine splits I thought I was going to tell her to continue to practice without me, but I'm truly grateful I found this clip!🙏🏾❤️
Wonderful! We're incredibly glad to hear that this video has made a meaningful impact on you and your daughter's journey towards the 10k! Best of luck with your training - you've got this! 🏃♀️💪
❤❤❤wow!! Subscribed and thank you sonmuch!! Why cant people just get to the point like him.. i have been suffering from shin splints and this feels amazing
shin splints go when you are on a proper strength routine. which means hitting legs and plyos. I stopped getting them when i was playing soccer consistently and now just about a month since i played competitively they came back and they’ll be gone once i get back to consistently playing and staying on my routine
Wtf... 4 weeks out of my marathon shin splints were kicking in. Tried everyday strenghening and basic stretching but nothing really helped. 20 seconds of massaging instantly helped me. I had pain walking the stair but now it's gone. Hope this helps for my marathon. Bless you :).
@@diactionza5864 yes it went away it’s mild but something u can play through u can feel it but it doesn’t hurt do tibialis raises what this guy is doing in the video and also always massage them every night and stretch
Thanks Hero ! I've game (Soccer) in 8 Hours and this helped me a lot, i will try to play and will write my experience after my match. I started again to play soccer after 10 years, going to soccer hall with friend 2times a week (intensiv 60-90minutes, short and intensiv runs). I recomment Diclo rathipharm as gel, this medicine you can find in Europe-Germany. Helped me a lot Champ!
After intensiv 90 minutes of soccer i cooled my shins and used the gel i said before, with your exercise i was Good but not in shape buuut it helped me a lot, so I can say with exercise your massage worked thanks for this champ !
It usually effects the Tibialis Posterior - most commonly found at the Distal 1/3 of the medial tibia. Can happen in the tibialis anterior, but it is less common 👍
Hey. I just back to basketball and straight away that bone is absolutely burning, and today its painful. Could you recommend how many reps to do to got from Top to bottom, and everyday? How many minutes? Many thanks, bless you 🙏
Question for the people ….i was in the marine infantry for a couple years. When I do this my shins are very sensitive. I hear cracking in my ankles and shins when I do this especially when my shins are super tight (walking more than usual) I will get the cracking and popping noise in my ankles and shins. Should I be concerned from years for wearing boots and running blah blah blah poor baby shins. Also I forgot to mention I’m addicted to this stretch ^^^ I do it wall day and hear the grinding every time.
rare moments when social media is good. thanks.
Then you have to check what you're consuming on social media. There's enough good content.

day 4 of playing consistently and I can say that I don’t have shin splints or any pains. Remember you get in the gym for injury prevention

Wowww does that feel good. Started 10 mile hikes 3 times a week to get in summer shape and I didn't even realize how tight that muscle was.
What can I apply on it?
This workeddd❤❤
Thank you! My massage therapist Never 👎 gives enough time to my calves & shin splints. Why? He wont learn English (mandarin) & my back is always tight
Thats why you gotta arm yourself with the tools to help yourself. Glad this this was helpful 💪
Is it cool that it can hurt way too much massaging
Sheesh cheers bro!
You got this! 💪🏻
Best!!!

Id do like 3-5 minutes daily up and down at a pace
Is it normal to feel more pain/soreness the day after massaging the shins?
Yeah you could, but that's a piece of building up the strength and durability of the muscle
Wow. Gorgeous human
Started getting shin splits again since I transitioned to my vivo shoes, this video was very helpful!
Very painful 😢
Thanks dude i now have ma legs back 😅
Happy to help :)
I didn’t even know what shin splints were until this video lol. I wonder if I have them. There’s only one way to find out
Mine it hurts in the tibia side should i massage it the same way?
Yes! 👍
I use a metal bat to have enough pressure and my leg still like bullet not matter how much I roll out
I am a varsity runner for my school and shin splints are killing me but now I feel so much better thank you ❤❤

If I do this too much can it mess up leg
Try to find ways to strengthen your anterior and posterior tibialis muscles
