Trying something new for the channel - product reviews. Just a casual chat about a product that has really changed my life, and is a critical part of my ability to get through most days in "relatively" one piece.

Thanks for explaining - I had no idea that was your reason for wearing them. Sounds (haha, pardon the pun) like you've hit a winning solution 😊😊

I am so pleased that you've found something to help you. All that peripheral noise can be not only distracting but downright annoying. One of my current students can't stand the noise of pencil on paper and refuses to copy anything into his book so I am going to recommend them for him. Thank you so much!

Thank you, really helpful. I wish these were about half the price it's so hard to take the plunge on them (or the Loops) without knowing how well they'll work individually.

Sadly, I cannot comment personally on Loops, as I've never tried them, but I have heard from friends who have that they weren't very happy with them. A few switched over to the Flares. I'm certainly not a blind shill for them, I will say I tried the new Calmer 2 prototypes and was not a fan, much prefer the originals. I also much prefer their original foam earplugs, over the new style EarShade ones they have now - but a lot of that is I just have weird shaped ears, apparently, and none of them fit great. Have not had that issue with either the Calmer or Calmer Pros. Flare does have a 100 day return on all their products, too. So it's basically a risk free investment if it doesn't work out. Depending where oyu live, there are official resellers that sometimes stock them cheaper, too. We have Earjobs, here in Australia, that often has them on sale. And so does Flare, too. The first pair of Calmer's I bought I got half off for Black Friday.
