I'm trying to save up to get one of the Makita 40 volt self propelled mowers as unfortunately the place that I'm currently renting is on a hill side with terraced lawns and gardens. It would be great if one of the companies could make a robot mower that could do sloping sites and terraced sections
There are a few that do. I won't go and list them here as they are different brands to this one that Matt is showing us. But if you do a quick google you will easily find them.
Change that, these ones can actually go on a slope. Did you check out that website that Matt listed? I just looked at the website as I wanted to confirm how much these were and on there it says this one can do 65% slope and the bigger one (5000) can do 75% slope. That is massive and a lot more than I was expecting.
@@GeelongCableLocations it's more about the different zones and areas as it's a terraced section there are a number of steps, edges and steep paths to get up between the different parts of the section
Hey Ben. Roberto is smart enough to recharge and get back to work where he left off. He is a clever boy. Generally the only noise you can hear is the grass being cut. It is quiter than a battery push mower. If it was black then it would be 99% stealth at night. I have never checked power but I think it will be less than petrol and you don't have to worry about the petrol going off in winter.
Hey Matt, I have a few questions. You know how it does up to 3000 m2 if it doesn't get the whole area done and needs to go back and charge, once charged will it go back to where it keft off and continue on. Or is ot not that smart yet? If yku have been using it for 3 months and it goes and charges on its own, how have you flind the power bills, well maybe not bills as cost of power has gone up everywhere, but consumption, do you find you are using a lot more power now? Lastly, whats the noise like. I noticed I could hear it in your video, if your inside watching TV or even filming another video for UA-cam, can you hear the mower in the background? Regards Ben

Yep totally agree with you Matt. I think it is without doubt they will. All they need is for first the demand to be there. But once people start wanting them and buying them then companies will do more of them.

It is an all wheel drive with skid steer. It will do hills and slopes. Have a look at the tyres on this thing.

Looks like an epic rhino
Cool still does not replace lawnmowers but useful
They will way faster then you think.
Why do you think it doesn't replace the lawnmower?
Will never replace a quality cylinder mower
I don’t see why they couldn’t make a robot cylinder mower
