The time and effort that would be free from my husband having to tend to the lawns weekly would be nullified. This is amazing and exactly what we need in our life. Popping it on the must have list now.
As a tech lover, I have been following many opensource mower projects over the years and have contiplated building my own aswell. I have looked into Adrumower and Openmower and a few other projects including the various brand-name mowers and I can honestly say there is not another mower on the market that can currently compete with the Luba. I have not tested the Luba for my self but from the specs and the other videos I have seen with the slopes it can handle it is honestly revolutionary. I am excited about the future! Perfect for my Grandad on his classic NZ lifestyle block
I have been working with a friend to build a mower that could do rural properties like his. This looks the goods, engineers that understood the requirements and the ability to build it. Cheers from Oz
And I thought my lawn was challenging! The Luba is truly amazing. I've looked at robot mowers a while back and the best of them only had 2-wheel drive, cost over $10k, and only did random mode. Technology has gone a long way since
I'm thoroughly impressed with how far robotic mowers have come. I remember when consumer models started coming out and thinking there's no way they would ever work in my yard. Now I'm actually considering selling my ride on mower for one.
Having no boundary wire is a game changer. Fantastic review, very informative, and good to see it in use in a NZ rural property. Glad to see there were not any issues with RTK placement.
Oh my gosh! That looks amazing! We need one so badly. We have a long history of ending our lawns through lack of mowing. A robot mower would be amazing, so I have my fingers crossed!
Holy moly this robot mower is impressive! I never would have thought one could mow that much (and thick) grass! We have 1.5 acres, and this would be a real treat! Good luck to the winner 🎉
Our property would be perfect for this mower. We currently mow with a combination of ride on, push power and grazing. If it’s anything like our Roborock inside the house, I’d be stoked to sit back and watch him do his thing!!
So good! There's always so much to be done around the house, this would be one less thing to do. Less housework, more fun time! And it looks amazing, love that no perimeter wire is needed.
Looks great. Seems to work really well in the wet - which is a real test where I live. Love the fact it doesn't need a wire also - a lot less effort to set up. These have been my 2 greatest concern with robot mowers in the past. Cheers.
Honestly been waiting for something like this for our lawn. Nearly 4000m square with steep banks and a range of surfaces. Thank you for this review, just like our robotic vacuum we can trust what you say.
Great video, it seems that a lot of love has been given to the robot lawnmowers over the past year, will be interested to see how quickly they progress over the next couple of years and the adoption of them.
Hi from the UK Looks like the tech has really matured! We're relocating to be closer to family later in the year. The new garden has a slope / bank to it, so it was great to see how it handled yours in the rain! - looking forward to seeing the lawn update!
This is exactly what I look for in a mower. I have not seen anything like this. They all have their setbacks. Good test, you have put alot of effort into this. Greetings💪🏻👍🏻😁
Looks promising have been keeping a tab on robot mowers for a while for a Wairarapa garden Luba sounds like the closest so far. Really like that you can schedule areas very important in NZ
I enjoyed the review. I too have a very steep 1.5 acre lawn with multiple obstacles. Your video makes me believe that the Luba 5000 may work in my yard. Thanks!
What a unit! It’s amazing to see how far technology is coming from the early days of robot vacuum’s up until now. This will be a great addition to properties with large open lawn spaces. I hope to pick one up!
Your views are excellent and not just doing the video to sell units. Very informative. I was looking into purchasing a robot mower but none seemed to tick my requirements..... Until I watched this. Very grateful for your professional opinion. Keep up the great work. I'm subscribed and look forward to future reviews
This robot mower looks awesome I have watched this a few times now with my husband and we really want one now, we have a very large and steep section which takes me 2 hours per mow on the ride on, I’m currently mowing 2x per week, so I feel this is a great option and it is by far the best robot mower we have seen! We have been researching a lot!! WE WOULD LOVE TO WIN!!! ❤️❤️
This all wheel drive mower looks great. Maybe I can persuade my husband to swap the sheep for this!! Exactly what we need as live in NZ too and we also watch the grass grow minute by minute 🤣
This review is comprehensive, informative and creates a want in me I never thought I had. We have a new build site on a rural block that has some steep inclines and fairly rough ground contour. From this review I am confident we can add one of these to our portfolio of smart devices (Roborock S7, skylights, lighting and so on) to make weekends about enjoying the view not pushing a petrol burning grass chewer around for hours.
Best test of any currently available robot mower. Nice work. My yard has steep lope and challenges aswell. This seems like a winner. thanks. Pacific Northwest USA
Great review...seems like it needs a camera option as well so you could check in on it remotely to see how it is performing and to record anyone trying to walk away with it!
We've got sloping land and typical 'NZ-style' grass - I'd love to see this auto mower take on our backyard as a challenge! An incredible piece of technology, it's certainly caught my eye
Looks great and would be great on our lifestyle block here as like you said with the constantly wet weather we've had in NZ any thought of being able to use a big ride on is out the window...
Looks like the solution to the quirks we have with our Stihl iMow. It does random mowing, which is OK when it can get out regularly, but when it's trying to catch up it leaves lots of patches uncut until it's been out a few times and looks like the lawn has been mowed by somebody with ADD.
Looks far more powerful than one i was thinking to buy. I slipped and fell over a few times last time i mowed my steep laon. Slipping means damaging the loan as well. This may be the best optionbfor us🤔
Looks awesome! Would love to add to our robomate collection and have something for our Papamoa lawn! - Been using the roborock s7 plus for 1+ years now inside from you guys which is a game changer! Don’t miss our plug in vacuum that’s for sure! Would love to replace the petrol mower next 😅
Wonderful review. After seeing this i mentioned to my lovely wife that we could now mow the hill section of our garden years form now. I am mowing with a ride on where no man or woman should dear to go and think that i may even have a challenge for your little guy. I was most impressed and would love to see it operate on our section to give 1 ha hill the golf course look. And would take the house lawn in its stride also. I would love to win this as would my family ot get me off the hill, I look forwards to the draw, ( if i haven't already missed it )
Thanks for this review. I’ve been looking for clear evidence that a robot mower will easily deal with NZ fast growing Kikuyu grass!. We too are struggling keeping on top of 3 acres in the spring time as often the ground is too wet for a ride on. Even our 4wd kubota gets stuck or at best leaves deep ruts, so this could be the solution! Thanks!
I am so impressed by this mower. I'm currently building a house and should be moving in by October 31, 2023. This will be one of my first purchases unless you guys want to send me one as a house warming gift! 😃
Buying the Roborock S7 changed my life so much more than I expected. We call her Bertie and she’s the best investment I’ve made. What a dream it would be to have this wee beastie taking care of the outside ‘floors’ while Bertie looks after the indoors :)
I'm surprised and impressed, be good if there was a couple of slots to open, depending on what direction it mowing to reduce clogging. Still impressive though.
Great review, looking forward to the follow up review. How steep is the steepest incline you have? I have a 37 degree incline, exactly what they claim to be able to do, but not sure if that is unrealistic in real life scenarios where the hill is not perfect.
I'm not too late to enter the comp!? I have been waiting a long time for robot lawn mowers to follow the lead of vacuums to move out of the random walk stage, not sure why it's taken so long to be honest, RTK is not cheap but AFAIK it's been around for a long time. More than just random navigation annoying my OCD a bit, my lawn is in two separate areas with a thin concrete walkway, I'd wonder if a wire based mower would even manage to bounce it's way down there reliably. This thing looks solid too, super impressive traction. Also coil suspension, ha! Please enter me into the draw! Not mentioning my recent spending on a new Roborock, my [wife approved] tech budget a bit stretched to hope to get one of these in the foreseeable future :D
The only one on the market, who can do 5000 sqm. Been looking for a robot mover for a while, Luba is the only one who’s up for the task😊
They’ve just increased it to 10,000m2 in a recent software update too. 😀
This is the first robot mower that looks promising. I am strongly considering getting this for my aging father. Thank you for sharing.
This machine is incredible. It’s like they shrunk the latest Batmobile down and taught it to cut grass.
I was about to post the same thing. It bears a striking resemblance to "The Tumbler" from Batman Begins...
lol
The time and effort that would be free from my husband having to tend to the lawns weekly would be nullified. This is amazing and exactly what we need in our life. Popping it on the must have list now.

The double cut width, programable perimiter and 4WD are absolute game changers. I've been waiting for this mower for a long time.
I love the idea of cutting the grass in different directions and getting that golf course look.
Having no boundary wire is a game changer. Fantastic review, very informative, and good to see it in use in a NZ rural property. Glad to see there were not any issues with RTK placement.
Love the AWD capability and runtime!
Fantastic looking mower. Having spent hours searching for buried breaks in the perimeter wire for my Worx, wireless tech is very much the way forward.
The Luba will have my garden as a challenge, I've got slopes and terrain other mowers will not cope with. Wireless mower is a must !
Wow!!! With the banks and moisturizer level in this video should handle well in my Detroit suburb-acre. If I could afford I would grab in a heartbeat.
I have seen alot of reviews of robotic lawnmowers and luba is one of the best I have seen.
What an awesome mower. I'm sure it would cope with our tough southland conditions.
Absolute game changer! Been weighing up going electric ride on, glad i found this review first! I want one!!
Looks great. Seems to work really well in the wet - which is a real test where I live. Love the fact it doesn't need a wire also - a lot less effort to set up. These have been my 2 greatest concern with robot mowers in the past. Cheers.
This is truly what robots should be! Great demonstration of capabilities.
Honestly been waiting for something like this for our lawn. Nearly 4000m square with steep banks and a range of surfaces. Thank you for this review, just like our robotic vacuum we can trust what you say.
Joy! Finally a local review that shows a mower coping with hills and rain.
Great video, it seems that a lot of love has been given to the robot lawnmowers over the past year, will be interested to see how quickly they progress over the next couple of years and the adoption of them.
Yep, definitely seeing it finally pick up pace. It has been a slow industry for the robotics space until now
Fantastic video, this is probably the only robot that could handle my lawn with all the steep slopes
Hi from the UK
Looks like the tech has really matured!
We're relocating to be closer to family later in the year. The new garden has a slope / bank to it, so it was great to see how it handled yours in the rain! - looking forward to seeing the lawn update!
This has to be the most impressive robotic mower I have ever seen!👍
Watching robo mowers for years, looks like they are getting closer reality.
This is exactly what I look for in a mower. I have not seen anything like this. They all have their setbacks.
Good test, you have put alot of effort into this.
Greetings💪🏻👍🏻😁

I enjoyed the review. I too have a very steep 1.5 acre lawn with multiple obstacles. Your video makes me believe that the Luba 5000 may work in my yard. Thanks!
Definitely the best robotic mower iv seen after searching for months also great video really put it to the test 👏
What a unit! It’s amazing to see how far technology is coming from the early days of robot vacuum’s up until now. This will be a great addition to properties with large open lawn spaces. I hope to pick one up!

Very informative.
I was looking into purchasing a robot mower but none seemed to tick my requirements.....
Until I watched this.
Very grateful for your professional opinion.
Keep up the great work.
I'm subscribed and look forward to future reviews
Built for tough condition and built to last.... looks like a beauty.
This robot mower is awesome. This would definitely make my job easier mowing my acre property. Thanks for the review and the give away.
Finally, the mowers are catching up to the vacuums! I have been waiting for a good robot to come out that doesnt need wires in the ground!
This robot mower looks awesome I have watched this a few times now with my husband and we really want one now, we have a very large and steep section which takes me 2 hours per mow on the ride on, I’m currently mowing 2x per week, so I feel this is a great option and it is by far the best robot mower we have seen! Wow exactly what I need on our 4 acres we have steep areas and I have a hip replacement what a handy piece of kit to own 👍.
This all wheel drive mower looks great. Maybe I can persuade my husband to swap the sheep for this!! Exactly what we need as live in NZ too and we also watch the grass grow minute by minute 🤣

My old friend would love this. His property looks just like the one you're testing on. I would love to win this just to give it to him.
As i am disabled, this machine will be a breeze to use, keep up the good work.
What an amazing product. The technology trumps all that’s out in the current market. Well done 😊
The 4 wheel drive looks excellent
We love our robot vac mop that we bought from you. This Luba robot mower would be such a game changer for the lawns!
Best test of any currently available robot mower. Nice work. My yard has steep lope and challenges aswell. This seems like a winner. thanks. Pacific Northwest USA
Thanks heaps - that’s a big compliment. All the best.
Great review...seems like it needs a camera option as well so you could check in on it remotely to see how it is performing and to record anyone trying to walk away with it!
I had no idea a robot lawnmower could be this advanced....this seems to be the future of lawn mowing.
This looks a great little mower! It is also cheaper than others too!
Great to see wireless options becoming available in the market, looks impressive!
I have a lawn maybe slightly steeper than this one that would give Luba a great test! Be great to get rid of the ride on and get the weekend back!
This looks like the best robot mower I think I've seen, thanks for this super informative review!
Incredible would love this for the house. Great video with a very in depth commentary. Luba loving 🤖
We've got sloping land and typical 'NZ-style' grass - I'd love to see this auto mower take on our backyard as a challenge! An incredible piece of technology, it's certainly caught my eye
That is a awesome mower. I need one for my garden in Greenlane.
Beautiful property, amazing mower and very nice lawn
It can take me up to 5 hours to mow the lawnsif l miss a cut due to weather or work . This would give me back a life . Great mower .
Looks amazing! The fact you can do cross hatch as well
Looks great and would be great on our lifestyle block here as like you said with the constantly wet weather we've had in NZ any thought of being able to use a big ride on is out the window...
I am VERY interested in this! Watched the whole video all the way through. Very impressive!
Never thought I'd see a cut as straight as that on a hillside
Awesome looking machine! I have an Ecovacs GOAT. This would certainly be an upgrade!
Id absolutely love one of theses I can't stand doing the lawns my yard is far to large and nerve damage makes it not worth the 2 week recovery
The robot lawnmower Ive been waiting for. Very exciting stuff 😀
These mowers are the bomb! Can't wait to get mine. Thanks for the review
Looks like the solution to the quirks we have with our Stihl iMow. It does random mowing, which is OK when it can get out regularly, but when it's trying to catch up it leaves lots of patches uncut until it's been out a few times and looks like the lawn has been mowed by somebody with ADD.
Haha explaining these eccentricities to someone that hadn’t experienced it is hard to do, but the extra navigation helps out in so many ways
This lawnmower is amazing. It would be perfect for our nearly acre of grass. So much less time mowing!
Looks far more powerful than one i was thinking to buy. I slipped and fell over a few times last time i mowed my steep laon. Slipping means damaging the loan as well. This may be the best optionbfor us🤔
Wow that's one uba Luba, I would like one so much. Thanks for a great review.
This looks incredible- and bonus sheep herding skills as well!! Love it!! 😂😀❤️
wow, I have a robo vacuum already. Winning a Luba robot lawnmower is a dream of mine for sure :)
Wonderful review. After seeing this i mentioned to my lovely wife that we could now mow the hill section of our garden years form now. Love the informative review! What an upgrade from a regular mower, what awesome tech.
This is cool looking forward to watching the video in full I have looking for a product like this for a while
Nice review, covered all the important information, Looking forward to the follow up

I defiantly need this for the wife, she is a lawn freak! She will be so excited hahahaha, thanks for sharing!
Looks amazing! Would love to have one of these for the lawn. ☺️
I would love to see a teardown of this! Pretty intresting tech.
I have a lot of this terrain. So I would love this
We'd love to add this to our mowing fleet!
Great video, looking forward to the next one.
Maybe the robot for my garden, at long last! I wonder how it’ll deal with beechnut husks and conkers 🤔
Cracking piece of kit. Love that
This looks like an amazing product. Love your work.
Buying the Roborock S7 changed my life so much more than I expected. We call her Bertie and she’s the best investment I’ve made. What a dream it would be to have this wee beastie taking care of the outside ‘floors’ while Bertie looks after the indoors :)
If you want to have a flawless lawn without much work, gas, or wires, the Luba might be a good choice for you. 🤲
I got the email.. watched the video and bought one all in the same half hour.. can’t wait for it to arrive!😊
I'm surprised and impressed, be good if there was a couple of slots to open, depending on what direction it mowing to reduce clogging. Still impressive though.

This is pretty impressive 😍
Wonder if spiked tyres would help make it bullet proof. But might interfere with the skid steer turns.🤔
Definitely doesn’t need em! The new Omni wheels are even better too!
Awesome review, thanks mate just helped me make my decision to get one 👍🏼
What a great mower.
