@@crazysam871 You're making a mistake comparing old Rhapsody and new Rhapsody of Fire. The stuff between The Dark Secret Saga and the Nephilim Empire Saga was subpar, but these are ultimately two different bands. You have to keep this in mind when you listen to them

I never compare them with the old rhapsoy, all I can say is that this sounds really good at times when is Kind of difficult to listen a good power metal
Curious, why don't you compare them ? Is it cause there's only the keyboard guy left from the original band and all those who composed and wrote the music/lyrics changed so you are trying to give this new band a chance ? Sorry if it comes across wrong, I'm genuinely asking if that's the reason.
@@Kazeshini11because there is no need to compare, without this formation we would not be able to listen to Rhapsody of Fire music live. I do not see the problem in the different formation, they do not have their first sound, but all bands change a little.
And also new material is okej, so i do not see any problem.
I suggest you to see them live and then decide

Na minha opinião, tudo que o Rhapsody Of Fire lançou com a nova formação, é bem superior em relação ao Turilli/Lione Rhapsody e o Lione/Conti.
Giacomo in grandissima forma come al solito, e anche il resto della band non delude.
Non so se mi sbaglio, ma mi è parso di sentire qualche autocitazione da Dawn of Victory, cosa che mi ha fatto un po' storcere il naso, ma il resto del brano è davvero solido - quasi una versione "power-metallizzata" dei Queen, fantastico. Curioso di ascoltare tutto il disco.

this song is very similar to Dawn of Victory.
It starts with only guitars and then the drums come in. In the chorus the second time Giacomo sings "Chalenge the force of the wind" the drums are exactly the same as when Fabio sings "Gloria, gloria perpetua!". And they add another part as they did with Dawn of Victory "tragic and furious... the clash of...".
That´s why this song is so great. Old Rhapsody is back!
Actually, "gloria perpetua" itself is a reference to "eternal glory" melody!
And "tragic and furious..." is very interesting as well!

Oh my God! New epic and majestic album is coming! I loved Glory For Salvation and The Nephilim's Empire saga, but I hope the next saga focuses on the medieval themes of the old albums like Emerald Sword saga and The Dark Secret saga, i miss the dragons on the album covers 😢

@@SembhatSeg Yes, it is the last chapter of the The Nephilim's Empire saga. I know because way back when they released The Eighth Mountain, it was said that the saga would be divided into three parts (i.e. in three albums). Compared to the two sagas ("Emerald Sword saga" and "The Dark Secret saga"), it was a very short story, since The Emerald Sword saga was told across five albums (starting with Legendary Tales and ending with Power Of The Dragonflame) and The Dark Secret saga was told over five albums (starting with Symphony Of Enchanted Lands II and ending with From Chaos To Eternity). I really liked the story, it's different from the two epic medieval sagas told throughout the band's career, but as I said in my comment, I would like them to return to medieval themes, I think it has more to do with the band

I didn't like that everything was snow and focused only in one person. I liked it better when there was a story of villages, gods, Warriors, princess...

The Eighth Mountain album is really the best album which set the standard for the new rhapsody line up. Glory for Salvation was kind of letdown (it just more tame and less dark, but still good album). Hope the new album will be on par or better than Eighth Mountain.
