Birg is a village and summit in Swiss Alps area above 8,783 feet / 2,677 meters.
Brig is also a good starting point in visiting towns in the Swiss Alps, especially if you are unsure of what places are excellent to travel to. How do I get to Birg?
From Stechelberg, you will ride 4 cable cars to get to Schilthorn. Take the cable car to Gimmelwald (5 minutes), transfer to the cable car to Mürren, transfer to the cable car to Birg, and finally, take the cable car to Schilthorn.
