I just bought the GAMEMAX 1300W Power Supply, ATX 3.0 & PCIE 5.0 Ready, 80+ Platinum Certified, Addressable RGB with 5V Motherboard Sync, 100% Japanese Capacitors, Fully Modular, RGB-1300 from Amazon for $148.99 but I have not used it and I'm starting to get scared to risk my RTX 4090 with it,
The unit we tested did very well in transient tests. Not sure how it will do on the long run though. In general you get what you pay at that price.
So not safe enough to use but decent performer on its own despite the low price.
Price actually is not that low, if you take into account the prices of the Thermaltake GF A3 line

@@HardwareBusters In Brazil the GX850 Pro ($136,6 from direct conversion 5BRL : 1USD from the last few years) and GX 1050 Pro ($160), Pro standing for the 600W 12VHPWR connector, cost basically the half of the respective 850W ($240) and 1050W ($300) GF A3 counterparts from Thermaltake, it's hard to defend the usually taken as "traditional and trusted" psu manutacturers when the Gamemax units are delivering about the same performance at full load, specially when 99,9% of users are just looking for something to pair with 350W-ish GPUs at maximum like 4080 and 7900XTX
