We needed this adversity. It would have been great to blow them out at home, but we haven’t really been tested. This was a good game to show we can hold a lead on the road
Honestly, I agree. We weren't going to know if this team was pure pixie dust or real until we saw them struggle. This may be a win that comes with caveats and concerns, but it's _grounding,_ too. We also still haven't seen them come from behind (down three in the 1st quarter versus the Giants _very_ much doesn't count). But a win is a win is a _win_ when the books write it down, and a win on the road in-division is two wins, or so they say. Now the team can build something real on this huge 4-0 start.
100% we were able to be humbled while still getting the W. Having this big lead and watching it vanish quickly. I hope we come out and play angry in London.
In a hostile environment too. I agree. This was a good win. Do we need to clean some things up, of course. Just like the other 31 teams. I will never be mad at a dub.
I was angry that the game ended up being this close. But thus, the team showed they can win in a close game, and that will keep them humble, and they'll want to improve in the next game. 4-0 baby!
4-0 is 4-0. That’s 25% of the NFL season UNDEFEATED. Vikings are kicking ass plain and simple. Previous Vikings teams would’ve choked away this game. NOT THIS ONE
I live in GB The belly of the beast and see it all the time. They want heads to roll and fire people. No gutting it out. Too much success and they get hurt easily
Gritty win. Nailor fumbling the punt near the end of the first half turned the whole game around, completely changing the momentum. Good player though. Hopefully, this kind of silly mistake is a one time thing.
Completely agree. I felt that change after the ridiculous muffed punt. And so did the Packers and the crowd. Even the Vikings felt it and couldn't shake it off. Ugly win.
Only thing is a lot of raters don't watch the game just look at highlights and box scores. This game was never close. Everytime the Vikings needed to make a play they did. Packers never had the ball when they could have scored to tie or take the lead
@@michaelthomas7999 Im pretty sure when Murphy forced Kraft to fumble we kicked a game sealing fg, it was 28-22, I could be mixing up the timeline of the game though
Ownership kept their words about us being contenders. Thanks for making the right decision, and for choosing the right regime. Smooth sailing from here, the hard part of the season is over.
Like your time in prison with buttsects. Just close your eyes and pretend its someone else and allow yourself enjoyment. Come you know how to do this very well I've been told
A couple of bad plays flipped momentum in the game and when you have momentum on your side in your own stadium then things start to go your way. Pressure is real and changes how you play. Luckily they got out of there with a dub. This game is in the rear view. Rodgers and the Jets are the focus in London. SKOL baby!
Aggression was the problem. They were swinging for the fences instead of just getting 5-10 yards where they were, which led to the strip sack, and the three and out. The place to put your anger for the passiveness is on B-Flo calling nothing but standard Cover 2 for the entire 2nd half
Ok. Once again - and this isn't even just a Viking problem but it was theirs today - it's Tortoise (Packers) vs Hare (Vikings) and the Hare and his coaching staff thought they had race won before it was over. If I'm a coach in the NFL I'm scoring however many points I can during a game. And as well, if my opponent scores a bunch of points and beats the crap out of my team its not on the other team it's on me and mine. I'd walk into that locker room and just 3 words "Remember this feeling" and walk out. Funny how they say nobody else feels sorry for an injury ridden team yet you're supposed to feel sorry you're handing a healthy team their butts during a game. I mean isn't there this "unwritten NFL rule" of not running up the score on your opponent? BS. Put your foot on their throat and when they're gasping for their last breath drive in the dagger and twist it as you go.
This GreenBean semi-comeback SHOULD aid in the PurpleGangs' possible big head-isms that would normally occur IF the staff allows this to happen given all of this newly found praise and over-the-top attentions now heaped upon them by the naysayers of the days gone by..... Head To The Sky, Vikes!!!
It was a good strategy to keep the packers one dimensional. Unfortunately we goofed twice in our end zones. Other than that everything else was garbage yards and points
Plenty of things to work on still I don’t know who’s fault it is for the two delay of game penalties or the quarterback, turning the wrong way on the handoff, dropping several guys in the coverage and still having receivers wide open with no one near them so that must be a communication Deal. If they play a clean game, I think we’re as good as anyone right now, barring a bunch of injuries
@@LeviO-qg9fp I was just joking. The Vikings win, but don’t dominate, and are 4-0, but so many fans were all, “We’re doomed.” So I thought that was funny.
