We purchased the same model from Summitt RV in Ashland, KY and we love it. Had Morryde put disc brakes on it and they are AWESOME !!!! Love Jayco products.
Great for a couple. Love the hidden storage but there’s no countertop! I guess I could prep food at the dinette. Washer/dryer prep is great!
Love the secret squirrel pantry! ,Kitchen sink and the bedroom! Thanks Matt and Will!!
You can hang your coat in that closet. You could also hang your backpack after you empty it from your hike. I like this trailer. The hidden pantry was pretty smart.
👍Pantry, washer dryer prep and shower size. 👎key cabinet thingy, little prep space in kitchen (needs extention) and no front window.
I appreciate two windows in the front bedroom. A front window would have been a bonus. The layout is similar to our wildcat 337fbh and it's a great layout but kitchen counter space is limited. If they flipped this floor plan to have the windows on the camp side it would be the #1 seller.
Hey Matt and Will! The not so sturdy top half of that ladder(I don't know!)I kinda heard a slight rumble sound on the end!😏""! "Around the Golf Cart" skip!🤭😊1.Potent.for 2AC units/Storage(in/out)! 2.Great Frmhs. gather. space/Kit.(in/out)/window lght.! 3.W/D/Perfect Shwr. for Will! 😏1.Accord. shades. 2.Heat ducts/vents. 3.Need a better latch or something for securing Ent. ctr...
the hidden pantry is the bomb
the Jayport square receptacle is for that black square bar you pointed out up front in the storage compartment. it's for a griddle/grill/burner outside cooking
Where do you hang your clothes?
Where do you prep the food?
The little closet in the kitchen area purrfect for dog leashes
The living room seems a little dark with no windows on camp side
But all in all it's pretty fine
There’s a clothes closet at the foot of the bed, beside the shower.
Usually Dexter makes the axles and MORryde makes the suspension.
Like the outside steps, nice small fifth wheel. Thanks Wil and Matt!
I have one and me and my wife loves it it,s our retirement RV we have fun plans coming
I like this Jayco for as small as it is. The only things I’m nit sure about is where do you hang your clothes and food prep? I still love it. The bedroom is nice with the 2 small storage units. Love the fact that it’s prepped for a washer and dryer. Very nice. Thank you Jayco and Matt and Wil.
I love this floorplan for me. Likes: Storage, Washer/Dryer Prep, Floorplan. Dislikes: 1) Spare tire position, would like it on the back bumper, to bring hitch weight down. since it's marketed as 1/2ton towable 2)Freshwater tank capacity is 81 on Jayco site, so much weight for a 1/2 ton towable. 3) Very few 1/2tons could actually pull this with the weight capacity's. I wish the industry could safely find a way to bring the hitch weights down to accommodate more 1/2 ton trucks.
I love the integrated fridge. the storage behind the TV is great so we are not wasting that whole corner with nothing but an over sized TV. I LOVE that there is no TV in the bedroom
I hate the theater seating we like to sit together on the sofa not in separate chairs and we don't have children so there is really no need for cup holders
the coat closet that you guys hate so much is perfect for dog leashes and my hoodies will hang there just fine.
A very cute cozy 5th wheel and that hidden closet is amazing
What was the issue with the wet bay you never mentioned what it was missing
Yes I want to know too
I love the extra handle on the steps!
Thank you Matt an Will
Wish you showed how the Jay port looked with the griddle attachment in place. Not just in storage.
wow, that pantry is awesome.
good looking unit perfect for couples and has almost everything with a acceptable price range but lack of kitchen counter space without any foldable extension, cheap looking shades and limited bedroom closet (it shares the same storage area with bathroom and if you use a washer/dryer you won't have anything left from that space) Great review as always. Be safe.
You guys ask yourselves all the time about generator prep. As a general rule, most things you look (other than the toy haulers, which usually come with the generator) at are not factory generator prepped. The holes cut in the front bay alone don’t define generator prep. Factory generator prep is going to include the wiring for the genset controls, and it usually includes the generator box in that front bay. On the Jaycos, it means even more. If you get Jaycos generator prepped, they also increase the LP volume. The Eagles and North Points (I believe) go from 30 to 40 lb cylinders, and Pinnacles double, from 2 30-lb cylinders to 3 40-lb cylinders.
The axle conversation from a week or two ago, and again on this one, also has me confused. Dexter makes a whole bunch of axles, but the suspension components don’t have to come from Dexter, and they often don’t.
👍 like the new steps
Love that hidden closet. Amazing
is the 1400lb tongue weight dry? i.e. no propane, nothing in the storage area? very few 1/2 ton trucks can carry that if any
The storage inside is amazing!
We're you talking to me about buying in Michigan and driving to Florida? LOL
I dislike the toilet placement, the mix of brown and white cabinets (all white please) and, as you said: the dumb cabinet in the kitchen. I love the hidden pantry, the w/d prep and that it's perfect for 2.
We are very interested in this RV. We have a three quarter ton pickup truck with a slider 5th wheel hitch and so the turning point pinbox is not needed by us. Due to some physical limitations we need to have a cushion pin box put on it. Like a morryde cushion pin box. Can one of those be put on this RV?
This is a go anywhere under 30 feet length 5th at 65 to 68mph. Adding a 13500 ndq mach8 soft start front a/c and 2200 watt generator would make off grid camping perfect
I really hope in a few months you go back to providing the sale price. One of the main things I liked about this channel vs. the others out there. Pricing is always such a game that it was refreshing to see someone post a price. I get why due to the instability of the market but can’t wait till that aspect of the videos return.
I know no one who matches clothing brand shirt, pants and shoes combinations. No concept of that what so ever, but it's cute.
So wait... this is prepped for a washer/dryer?
Which half ton? What are the required specifications?
I'm really liking Jayco! Great storage!
hey jack, the tow receptacle on the stern is for NOT towing a vehicle... but it is for an accessory like a bike rack, kayak rack, portable generator (since you didn't know very much about the unit in the first place_) it seems like you were told you had to do this video that morning, licked your fingers off, and said... give me 3 more pots of coffee!! LET's DO THIS!
Who is jack?
Josh at Haylett does and y’all know it.. lol
I like the way Josh shows trailers. He always shows it with the slides in so you can see what’s useable on the go.
@@IceLynne me too!
Josh the RV nerd is the best... And much more knowledgeable about all things RV than Matt!!
I guess they think if you have a washer dryer you don't need a place to hang clothes!
The 2” tow receiver in the rear, would be good for a cargo carrier, or motorcycle carrier!
Uh oh, Will's shower "BING" didn't show up!
Matt, those where upgraded MORyde shackles. The axles where still Dexter.
Another great video, thanks!
THE TINY BATHROOM with no space around the toilet! What is up with that?
Could you remove one of the shelves in the pantry closet and put in hanging bar for clothes?
Still WISH you’d actually show what an interior looks like BEFORE!! the slides are out !!?! If little Wyatt has to tee tee and you pull off the road; how much room is there?
Thank you for clarifying the not all half ton trucks can tow this
1480lbs hitch weight plus about 200lbs for a 5th wheel hitch system puts 1680 lbs in the bed of the truck - exceeding the CCC of almost every half ton out there.....and that is with no people in the truck, no gas in the tank, and a dry empty trailer! Nice trailer, but you need a bigger truck to tow it.......
Good point. Many folks just focus on weight towing capability and ignore tongue/pin weight impact on cargo capacity of tow vehicle.
This comes the closest to what I want in a "couples" 5th wheel. I would agree with the dislikes you pointed out. I would add another, no rear bumper.
I love the Jayco build quality of their Eagle products
Will a 6 inch lifted ford f-150fx4 V-8 pull it safe?
I would put the fireplace under the tv
Thank you for reviewing a Jayco! We have been big fans- well built quality units!!
Love that hidden pantry!!
Check out the 319MLOK unique floor plan
Matt. I love both your vlogs, however I sense your lack of enthusiasm for this rig. I feel some of this is the result of lack of knowledge about Jayco in general, and this model in particular. Your surprise over the corner pantry revealed this. Jayco has an excellent reputation for design/engineering, reliability, sturdy construction, 4 season liability and large freshwater, grey and black tanks. Jayco products have fewer complaints about initial product defects than any other 5th wheels on the market. This is evidenced by Jayco's 2 year/3 year transferable warranty. Just ask Josh Winters what he thinks about Jayco products. I guarantee you'll get an education in Jayco 5th wheel RVing unlike any other. Matt, please forgive me for the lecture, you are a master at your craft, and I never miss an episode on either of your channels. Wil does a great job as well.
The hitch can be used for a bike rack.
Washer/Dryer 2 machine or 1?
Is the main control unit compatible with Apple
Toliet is too tight to the right. I'm from Maryland and I recognized your Bal-more accent lol.
Just can't grill in the rain since the hookup is not under the canopy
Yet another great review
++ 81 galons fresh water - impressive.
--- electric leveling jacks
-- No solar
I really like this trailer.
& here I was Looking at duramax allison kudos 2 U
Where’s a closet in the bedroom for hanging clothes?
Nice but the lack of kitchen counter space makes it a deal breaker.
I love this fifth wheel.
What the price of the 5th wheel
I love all your reviews but most of your reviews lately seem to be mostly 5th wheels. Would be nice to see more of a variety of travel trailer reviews.
When you looked at the connection bay you said one thing is missing?? Then never told us what it was... Maybe when Will asks you a question you should answer it since you can't seem to remember to come back later... SO what is missing??? Not that I expect an answer since you have never answered any of my questions here... Maybe this time 🤞
I didn’t see any hanging storage for clothes
We would hand dog leashes behind mirrors
Like the fact they have a range hood I have a furion stove, samsung makes a way better Tv then they do so consistancy isnt always the answer
#3 = commode position!
On my flat screen your face is showing very red, however, not on my phone. Will’s face shows normal
Forest River has tons of storage over all the others!
Recliner will catch fire in front ot fire place
Zero Counter top. Need windows on campsite side.
I want this!
I wouldn't give Jayco credit for the farmhouse look. They can't seem to make up their mind on this one. I do NOT like the dark wood entertainment cabinet in between the two light wood areas, nor the dark wood cabinets above the sitting area. A consistent color upfront would make it seem more open and bright. I can live with the dark wood in the bedroom but not in the front.
Don't care for the 'latch' cord behind the tv for the pantry door..
I used to watch all your videos and like them but since you stopped giving us the sale price, I have to search for other videos
Your Next Video You Should Be In a Bikini, Lol. With a Wig & Sunglasses
Maybe it shouldn’t be claimed to be a 1/2 ton fifth wheel if 98% of 1/2 ton trucks can’t do it anyway.
Beautiful camper though!!
There is really no such thing as a half ton towable fifth wheel! Half ton trucks don’t have the payload to tow that trailer!
Appreciate the excitement, but, after the jump up into the air (2" max...) for the intro/video, how much did your everything hurt... and who told you to do it??!!!
a portly man jumping up, looks like a leg injury. and props on video editing for the lack of "owwwwww" factor!
It was the blinds you where thinking of for dislike
I laugh that is is 1/2 ton towable.... it definably is not.
Those discription/advertising stickers/labels all over the exterior makes it look cheap.
Bad advice, there’s not one 1/2 ton that can tow it. Dry weight is irrelevant. When’s the last time you went camping with an empty trailer, NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!
The tongue weight is nearer 2,500 lbs.
don’t believe what you’re told, always check the cargo capacity of the truck, yellow tag inside the drivers door jam!!!!!
Too many unsafe units on the road, unsafe for your family and everyone else on the road.
Nice trailer, but get the proper tow vehicle!!!!!
✅✅
No black tank flush would be a deal breaker for me. Otherwise, nice couples 5th wheel.
Definitely has a black tank flush .. it's in the wet bay
PS... The slide was already out... So not sure why you were pretending to put it out... I guess you don't want to deviate from the script?? Might make you forget what the one thing it's missing you would tell is about later... Oh wait you never did tell us...
Come on guys learn your product before you talk about it
I want to meet the moron that tries and tow with a 1/2 ton. My F150 1/2 has a 1975# payload so in theory, it's doable if I was a solo traveler and only filled the gas halfway.
I would never tow this with a half ton.
Hitch weight is too heavy for almost every half ton.
Still no such thing as a digital antenna.
stop using the golf cart, and walk to the units.
Nope I Payed 42.000.00
Please don’t roll off the roof
If it's made by jaco - it's a piece of crap!
