After doing filament swapping for several years with an Ender 3 Pro, I switched to a P1S Combo as my main printer.

I can't say anything bad about the bambu lineup. For the price, you get some additional things with Creality, but the lack of AMS is a problem. Having a print farm setup is crazy good with creality's software. I think there are pluses and minuses of each system

Hold on a second. The bed on this is smaller than many of the competitors and almost nobody says this has better print quality than the Bambu. I have both and didn't hesitate to open the Bambu because of their reputation... This thing is still in the box and I'm a little concerned about opening it, because of the past reliability issues with the devices this company makes.
So, please chill with the Hyperbole, because even pursa and creality admit the Bambu printers are slightly faster.

This should use the same profiles as the original K1 profile, I would assume, but if not only marginal tweaks would be necessary

probs not because the max already does what the k1c does

Gosh. Unicorn looks like a regular k1 nozzle but with integrated ptfe made of metal. Loose 1 hex screw at back under motor, unscrew nozzle?
