    TY for video I was looking for the info on the seals.
    So I always put Copper Anti-seize on the Hub Flange shaft, it helps keep if from "Seizing" in the inner bearing races. I work on a lot of beach driven trucks and have had a number basically be welded to the shaft from salt damage, so now EVERYTHING is Anti-seize if is just metal to metal connection and doesn't call for grease or oil lol.

    Did I miss the part where you greased the bearing or comes pre-greased?

    • @Viktor_G_Automotive
      @Viktor_G_Automotive  2 місяці тому

      It is a sealed unit, greased from factory, cannot be taken apart.

    If I buy a Toyota OEM hub assembly and wheel bearing can they be pressed together? So they sell it as one unit?

    • @Viktor_G_Automotive
      @Viktor_G_Automotive  Місяць тому

      Toyota doesn’t sell the complete assembly pressed together, but you could buy all the parts separately and ask a shop to press it together for you.

      You can check with your local automotive parts store, or maybe see if you can contact Koyo directly.

      For the axle seal, I would check with the dealership parts department with your VIN, I think they may differ depending on your engine size/year.

    Hi Viktor great content you're putting there. I have some issues with my 2010 rx350 that I need help with. How can I talk to you about it? Email?

      Hi, thank you for the positive feedback! You can ask your question here in comments and I will answer if I have a chance to do so.

      The push to start often doesn't work. Even tho the key has battery. It always unlocks and locks the car when I approach it. However a lot of times I press the start button and it doesn't turn the car on. The car doesn't say key not detected or anything. And when I set it to passive smart key where you have to touch the key to the button it always made the sound that means it recognized the key, but it would turn on. That happens often after a rain.

    • @jonathanattia2164
      @jonathanattia2164 7 місяців тому +1

      The second question is I have some knocking noises from underneath the car when I break a bit hard or when turning the steering wheel all the way. Both mostly on low speeds. The dealership said it's coming from the rear catalytic converter. But when I tried to touch and move it around it wasn't loose at all and didn't make any sounds that indicate something is not connected well or broken

      @@jonathanattia2164 Whenever I hear from the customer than an issue may be rain related, I always start by doing a thorough investigation into water leaks. The first thing I would do is pull off both kick panel covers on the driver and passenger side. Behind them, there are many junction connectors. Very often water leaks between the windshield and the body due to an incorrectly installed windshield end up inside those connectors as they are located directly below where the water entry point is. Remove the covers and methodically disconnect each connector one by one and thoroughly inspect each for presence of water or green/blue corrosion on connector pins.

      @Viktor_G_Automotive  7 місяців тому

      @@jonathanattia2164 This is not a common issue that I have run into. Since the dealership has looked into it, unfortunately, I don't see how I can question their diagnosis without being able to drive the vehicle and listen to the noise.
