Well, it's been some time since I've been in the planning loop; I had no idea you were such a Hobonichi fan! You have some beautiful planners and covers here. It's such a pleasure to watch and listen to another of your videos. Happy planning and health to you in 2022.
Thanks so much sweet Dawn, so good to see you here. i have changed everything up drastically since my mothers passing and the pandemic 😷. More to come on that in future videos. Your weeks looks so beautiful and it was so exciting for me to see it, TFS. What else will you be using for 2022? Hugs, Vanessa 💕
Hi Vanessa! I enjoyed your hobo haul. This is my first year down the Hobonichi rabbit hole. I placed 6 orders from the Hobonichi Store. Still waiting for the last one to arrive. I bought what I wanted and selected items for my older daughter and 3 of my granddaughters. Honestly, I will keep as much as I give them. I got the Joanna Louise weeks. I love yours with the pale pink cover! After watching your video I wish I had ordered the page keepers. Thanks for sharing your treasures!
How very exciting for you Lorraine and i am excited for you! 6 orders is impressive. Enjoy every moment. i have always loved all things stationery and paper and am sure you are the same, it is so much fun 🤩 and so therapeutic too to journal. The liberty weeks is so pretty. Welcome to a beautiful rabbit hole and thank you so much for tuning in and taking the time to share your excitement with me, hugs, Vanessa 💕
Thanks so much. Really? losing my accent! - well it makes sense as i have not been back to England since the beginning of 2019 after my mother passed away & actually don’t anticipate traveling there again! Lovely to hear from you, hugs, Vanessa ♥
I love knowing that I'm not the only one who hates the pen loops in the hobonichi covers. I would love to see how you remove yours. I just cut mine off and it leaves a big bump. Yours looks nicer.
You are not alone, yes they totally get in the way. I am a fountain pen lover which i like to carry in a proper pen case, not in the bulbous loops! I use a sewing pick to pick and cut the stitches, wiggle and pull out the loops as they glue them as well. Then use tweezers to pull out any remnants of the cotton thread. i use a q tip to apply glue to the inside of the edges and a bulldog clip to hold in place while drying. Don’t cut the loops first as it gives no leverage to pull and wiggle them away from the glue. And yes it does leave an ugly hump if you just cut them without performing surgery as outlined here. Hope that helps if you want to remove them 💕 Hugs, Vanessa
Wow I missed your presence SO much! I've been so curious to know what's up with your travelers notebook collection and I didn't even know you were down the Hobonichi rabbit hole as well! I hope you've been well
oh you are so sweet, thank you. Yes down the Hobo hole 🕳!!! i purchased my 1st hobo in 2015 and then got heavily into TN’s but due to life changes, realizations & the pandemic 😷 I pretty much use 💯 percent Hobonichi now, usually just a weeks, A6 techo & the 5 year. still use a pocket TN too. I intend to do some more videos explaining my journey - we’ll see!! How are you? Are you well? Are you all set for 2022 and what will you be using?

@@LuluLimeDesigns It does help. The gluing makes me a little nervous, but I bet it looks better than my method. Thanks 🤗
