All new 2019 Honda CB1000R Bauxite Special Edition
We have baptized our motorcycle with the name of Bauxita. This is because this project has required a very thorough work of almost 80% in aluminum, and "Bauxite" is the main source of this element.
As we have said before, we have opted for the use of aluminum in a large part of the motorcycle, including the license plate holder. As for other accessories, we have chosen large lobed brake discs, delayed footrests for a more authentic position on the bike, exhaust and Akrapovic collector. To give an elegant and simple touch at the same time, we have chosen a retro counterweight mirror, teardrop flashers, handles, cuffs and upholstered seat according to this aesthetic. All this accompanied by a work of pearly painting and exceptional airbrushing.
We want to transmit lightness, originality, elegance and above all respect for the model from which this project has started. We like to give it our personal touch, but at the same time maintain the essence of it.
What we have most enjoyed this project has been, without a doubt, the participation and involvement of all the members of the project contributing work, ideas and enthusiasm.
The extensions of sheet metal and decoration has been the most difficult part of this project.
