Directout Prodigy MC, its a modular converter and can be 64 mic/line inputs pluis you can have 2xmadi, Dante or AVB or Ravenna or Waves and now RME developed and USB interface for it to , the mic pres are probably the best mic pres i ever heard inside an interface . if you pair it with an RME interface with total mix FX its probably the most powerfull interface/mixer ever. its what i use in the studio and live for playback and IEM. powerfull stuff, but it comes with a price.
I would love to hear more how you setup hardware inserts and determined I/O latency with the Galaxy. I’m assuming you are not using Pro Tools HD. If you ARE using HD, how about a word to us Pro Tools Studio users on how to figure all that out.
I have a dedicated video on my channel for using the hardware inserts. The Antelope unit auto calculate those so you don’t have to manually calculate them like some other interfaces.
I own my Galaxy 64 since 5 month to integrate and upgrade my Pro Tools Ultimate System, together with an additional Avid Card and the Avid OMNI, HD 16/16 plus Antelope ORION 2 HD. It works great with super low latency with my analog outboard gear (Synth and Insert Effects).
congratulations….and somehow after enjoying all your orion videos, i had a feeling that you would getting the 64 😉👍 truly appreciate all the knowledge that you share. all the best & have a great day.
Plugged mine into a crap power conditioner and fried my whole unit as well as the conditioner. I have no clue what happened. Can't get it replaced, I'm so sick about it. I'm literally still paying on it. Thats what I get for cheaping out on the conditioner.

Will definitely check that out.
Nice Job on the 64!!!
I love RME, but I wish I’d seen something like this before I bought my RME setup
RME are great units as well!
Great Video! Thanks!
You’re welcome
