Those were some cool hybrid trout! I mostly use the pink worms for stocked rainbows, though I caught a wild rainbow with them once, as well as a few occasional wild brown trout.
You inspired me to learn how to fish. I went to big cottonwood canyon, bit I didn't catch anything haha. I actually got my rooster tail snagged on a log and had to cut my line lol. Can't wait to catch and cook something like you do! Have you thought about streaming on twitch?
Right now, East Canyon Resevior is amazing for Rainbows. We caught 8 decent sized trout with corn powerbait and worms on a slip bobber. If you use a rooster tail, be careful because there are a lot of rocks you can snag on!
@@brandimauigoa3309 thanks for the info! I really appreciate it! I see there's a fee to enter the reservoir. Are there spots to park and enter so I don't have to pay?
You got a lot better with your videos! You put more time in your actual cooking. I cant tell you how much I love that! Keep growing and keep posting the great content. I love these types of catch n cooks.
Sportsman has an awesome trout/fish seasoning! Have you tried it? Maybe you could try a taste test of different trout seasonings/recipes for video ideas.
a few weeks ago. we've been watching each others videos for a while, and then almost a year ago my old channel got hacked and I lost all my views and subs, so I guess he just wanted to help me out. hes a good guy!
Awesome I watch you and ace all the time and one day he shouted you out and I was like wow he shouted someone I watch but yea love your vids keep it up
Use barbless when you use live bait, and use a small hook . I use a size 14-10 mosquito hook , not barbless but the way the hook is, makes it really easy to pull out
@@nanokcasts9187 no thats what im saying. Here in utah people will start wearing tank tops and shorts in 60 degree whether because its usually so cold. We appreciate 60 degrees here as well lol
@@bassntroutfishing you seemed to catch fish when you did it! I've just been teaching myself and leaving my spinning stuff at home so that i have no choice but to figure it out haha. The first time i went, no fish. Second time i caught like 9 nice cuttys!
Guess we can call you the tiger king

Caught 35 trout between me & 2 others at currant creek res a couple weekends ago. It's a bit of a drive but so worth it! And its free.
Also, get used to losing your lures 😂😂 I consider myself lucky if I didn't lose all of mine in one day of fishing 😆😆
@@jovandelagarza8669 you can pull to the sides on the resevoir and fish. Its the state park that you have a fee

Hi I’m from Utah too! Wondering what lake did you go to for the 2nd spot
Great analysis.
You got a new sub!
Welcome aboard!
Splake trout?
I thought they were more fit for lakes.
Do they stay in streams and not move downstream to find a lake?
How many different rods and reels do you have?

I was hoping you'd drop the go pro in the stream like you have in the past. Great video though. Thanks for keeping me entertained. 😄

Lol here in Alaska I’d be shirtless and in shorts at 75 degrees. 😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
That's basically how it is here in utah.

This is when fly fishing would come in clutch, i am dying to throw some dry flies.
I would like to do it more, I'm just really bad at it.
