One thing you should correct SERGIO CABRAL was not just any government official. He was the Governor of Rio which is the highest office in the State of Rio.
The fact that this guy was very rich and yet a lot of us didn't even know he existed!🤣🤣
It’s sad that he was so greedy
FR 💀💀🙏
Yeah, really
LAAAAAAAL
I agree
Is it really that shocking that a super wealthy person is involved in crime? You know the old saying: Behind every great fortune is a great crime.
sound ofacts
Thank you for sharing this. I now definitively that owning a winning mega millions lottery ticket is immoral.
@@Bill_W_Cipher Do you mean know??
what is shocking is that he actually faced consequences.
@@taln0reichSooner or later, they all find themselves messing with the wrong person-as my people say, who doesen't pay to cross the bridge will pay to cross another one.
It's disgusting how some have been unimaginably lucky and/or been afforded every opportunity, while the overwhelming majority couldn't win even if they were the only ones playing! 🙄😖
I was trying to win some snowmobiles once. I won, pots and pans. That's what usually happens to me

Sometimes in the justice system, you can't buy your way out of jail, but it is so much easier for the rich to try.
Remember when you start a company make sure you always hold at least 51%of the company so you have control
@ejuicevaper no you can't you you don't have the majority shares you can get fired
You really need to think about what you said you must not understand math and majority rule
@@jonathanhall1825 Dual-class share structures. Then you can maintain control with under 51%. Really like how mature your comments seem. Must you really demean others when making an argument? I think YOU don't understand common decency. By the way, I get to say that because you already established yourself as immoral and thus the same decency laws don't apply to you.
I love how he puts watermarks for some of the videos he includes so he isn't stealing anyone's work.
You know how it goes.
Greed corrupts people.
If you want to keep your wealth, be humble, pay your taxes, and don't do like Eike. Basically, don't do stupid stuff
Point being, he got rich by taking risks. He lost it all for the same reasons.
I agree
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻I agree
With that kind of wealth he could of done so much good and still live a life we can only dream off. Being greedy was his downfall and led to imprisonment.
I am always amazed by Be Amazed
I thought I was broke. 😂
Until I saw this (and new meaning of broke)
I'm gonna try to beat this guys record. My new dream is to become a NEGATIVE MULTI-BILLIONAIRE.
I thought I was poor with 500 dollars.
You meant 1.000 dollar in debt?
Only 500? Bro do u need help?😢
Me too
Bro is like a millionaire compared to him😂
Bro I envy you
This is why I fully believe it never pays to be rich. It's so easy to lose it all, to death or to other circumstances. It's better to find contentment with relatively little.
That's my motto, I just want to be able to pay my bills and afford all I need and the basic necessities.
That type of thought looks good as a social media post, but in real life it's flawed. It is extremely hard to lose it all at any point if you are rich, that's a low-class and middle-class risk. There are a gazillion holes in laws and society (some made by the rich themselves) that allows the rich to be "untouchable by monetary misfortune".
Also, money does not buy happiness. But it makes your life better, as it unlocks access to a lot of services and even more ways to get even more money, which brings happiness. That's the way the world works under Capitalism: everything is locked behind a price, even essential services. And everything prioritizes profit, so everything runs on more money than needed to run, to turn up profit. You got no money to pay the price for services, you got nothing.
No internet, no transport and no phone/computer already locks you outside of society: you can't research your rights, you become "an island" in political and religious influence, you can't be informed of the situation around you, you can't go after work, you can't get training/study for work, you can't communicate with people more than a mile away.. etc. You basically become a vegetable that will wither away on the next Winter if you can't pay these 3 basic services alone, and we aren't even counting food and having a home or not.
Our world is not a socialist utopia where basic human rights are guaranteed. Go get money! That's what you were born to do, that's the only way to stay alive, take advantage of everything and everyone to get off the mud, welcome to the machine.
There's a reason winners of chance games like the lottery always inevitably go broke within the year - or the first few years, if they're lucky. They quit their jobs, and immediately go on a crazy spending spree as if the money is neverending. Afterwards their whole lives are in shambles because they've alienated their loved ones on top of the financial idiocy.
You still die tho so nah. I'd rather be rich thanks.
@@zazzifizzle I DO NOT want to be a billionaire. There's a finite amount of wealth in the world, meaning that if I was making billions, it would be coming from people who were going broke.

Amen! People need to learn to earn. Ill gotten gains are the ruin of most.
Wow, this story literally gave me chills 🥶
Ge was given pretty much everything given to him to succeed and he still wasn't happy? Greed will get you everytime
As my wise Uncle Ben once told me
“With great power comes great responsibility”
AND THEN THERE IS THIS GUY-
Love his microwave rice 😉
This actually validate my theory that money/wealth is mentally toxic for you and becomes worse the more you have... and as that happens the risk of doing shady things increases that will put you then deeper into the pit. Makes me happy that I am just a chemical analyst who loves the job with awesome colleagues and having friends/family that cares for you, that is something (happiness) that makes someone rich, not the money.
Oh, of course, people without money NEVER get involved in anything shady 🙄. There are a$$holes in every walk of life, rich and poor. Some people just make excuses for crooks
@@cassieoz1702 I am not saying people without money "never" do that, it does happen there too definitely. It is more the chances when the rich does is much higher and damage can be more severe. >.
I somewhat disagree with your theory. Virtually every evil person out there is unhappy. Therefore, evil is caused by unhappiness. Unhappiness is caused by unrestricted desire. The rich are often evil because they do not restrict there desire. They always want more. Now, of course it is okay to dream. But it is not okay to put no restrictions on your dream. You need restrictions so that you don't get in the way of someone else's dreams. That is why greed exists. Those types of people were already evil. They didn't restrict their dreams. Their wealth just kept on growing and growing, since their was nothing restricting them. It is okay to be extremely wealthy, as long as you know when its time to stop.
@@Bill_W_Cipherexpanding on that idea: Rio de Janeiro and most of Brazil is so miserable with wealth inequality that the rich get constantly reminded of how deep they can fall. So it's very hard to have a happy life when you're surrounded by so much misery and poverty. I'm sure that quite a few wealthy Brazilians feel compelled to strive for more and more money and wealth out of fear of how deep they could fall if they lost all the benefits that money buys them.
I need a Darwin's award video again🙏😁

You know where he went wrong? He didn’t have enough blackmail material on various political politicians and judges, unlike most billionaires in the USA.
I believe that the majority of "so called" billionaires have got to where they are by screwing over someone , at some point. Most people with major wealth have little compassion for those who have less. They lack empathy, that's why they are rich.
So true
Sociopathy is an integral part of many (if not all) millionaire/billionaire psyche, the only reason that it's not common knowledge is because they go out of their way to make sure they remain "undiagnosed"
"Swallow all your morals, they're a poor man's quality".

Why can’t certain men and women keep it in their pants until they’re completely single at minimum. Cheating always seems like more trouble than it’s worth.
Poor impulse control is a hell of a thing. also helps that a lot of cheaters operate under the notion they can explain away their suspected infidelity/ cheating as long as all involved never know the other exists.
The Mercedes SLR Mclaren was later crashed by Eike's son as he hit and killed a cyclist on the road. He was never held responsible for it.
disgraceful, but not surprising 😔
By "never held responsible for it", do you mean that he was never brought to court for it, or that it was the cyclist's fault that he was hit?
Ironically, if he had just declared bankruptcy rather than committing crimes and doing shady business practices, he would have been out of his hole way faster.
Before 2020 an individual could not declare bankruptcy in Brazil. Essentially if he had outstanding loans he owed those for life.
@@picketf Damn!
@@picketf*wait* *what*
@@alexandrejeankonghpps582 In countries like Switzerland it's even worse: Not only are you perpetually liable without the chance of declaring personal bankruptcy, if you have negative equity and you die, your next of kin needs to sign a document to refuse anything related to that estate. Then everything of value will be used to eliminate the outstanding loans. If they instead choose as much as inheriting a pair of shoes, they accept to pay the outstanding bills 😂. In practice a claimant might press charges to get some money back, the person declares they are unable to pay, the claim remains dormant but the claimant has the chance to perpetually revive the claim and recheck if the person has accumulated any type of valuables and on top of that charge fantastic interest.
This is one of the examples from hero to zero

This is going to be good lesson bc we spend money really wisely or maybe like this happens a
It's so often said that a degree gets you on in life, but it's not usually meant as in you'll get a better jail cell 🎓😮🤦🏻♀️🤣🤣
In Brazil this law, to separate academics from ordinary criminals is a successful measure to prevent organized crime. The idea being, if you add a smart guy to low brow criminals he would conspirate with his cellmates to orient them on how to make it big once they get out. It also means rich people who are much more likely to have a degree never get to experience a real cell, so the people who introduced the law had most definitely secondary incentives.
Loved this video how about a video showing the life and accomplishment of Albert Einstein
This song should be used in extreme stories of revenge that went too far part 5
The things we want most can be the very things that kill us. You could have enough money to last 5 lifetimes, but without the struggle that gives life meaning what do you have?
What would of happened if he continued his studies and got a degree instead of chasing after money all his life? 🤔
Student debt?

Invest in shares, gonna be a little political here so I'm sorry about that, look for companies that aren't involved in the esg/dei scam also avoid companies that are involved with, I think, blackrock... they will waste your money on trivial bs like esg and dei until they run out of other people's money to spend

Does anyone find it strange that we say that money is the root of all evil but we also complain about the billionaires not sharing any of their wealth? Or does everyone else find this completely normal and reasonable?
The actual quote is "the love of money is the root of all evil". If they did not love money so much, they could do much good with it.
Happy birthday 🎈🎉🎁🎂🎊
18:28 That's probably an Embraer...yes it looks like a spelling mistake, but is a Brazilian airplane builder...

Hello !
Greed was his default. Wanting more when he had enough to live a luxurious life is a bad plan. Then comes fraud, lies to the investors, over estimation of his projects are big mistakes.
Phil. Peace.
16:00 to get to the point..
This is out of left field (sorry), but at 3:11, the stock footage of "college students" *has* to be mirrored. Unless, of course, they're all left-handed, which seems unlikely. (As a leftie, I notice these things.)
And in the end you can't take it with you when you go. I will never understand.
wow that was a huge story there

If i had 30B dollars, i would just sit back, relax, enjoy life, be a good person and live a pretty cool life.
Who remembers when this channel wasn't clickbait bollocks?
Yeah. I kind of wish Be Amazed would stop stretching the truth, sacrificing accuracy for interesting-ness, and making videos about doom and gloom.

"cahrming salesmanship" what a LYE
M*R*N! portuguese is NOT spanish, aaaaay, it's not HARDEEM, the J is the sound like beige, and the IM at the end are soft/silent
I know this wasn't the intended takeaway of the story, but...YAY! I finally have an uncle now, in the form of a non-descript mascot who goes by the name Bartholomew!
He is like once-ler from the lorax, EXCEPT, blud didn't learn from his mistakes and had the Hardest downfall
considering his back stabbing of corruption from his previous business dealings... He should stay away from the gold industry and do something like renewable energy or something that screams he's changed? I know you did mention that he is, but if I was him I would also maybe finish that degree he never completed?
Does anyone have the notion that not all billionaires are evil? And that our financial difficulties lead us to discontentment? And that that discontentment leads us to say that billionaires are evil? And that we should just stop focusing on evil since it only drags us down? And that we should fix our personal problems first so that we are better equipped to fix other people's problems? And so that we can serve as better examples for the next generation? Nobody else feel that way? Just me?
