I'm going to age myself here, but I was a kid back in the blockbuster & super nintendo days, and I once won a year of free rentals with a single entry into their sweepstakes. It was right next to a grocery store my mom always went to, so I used it to it's fullest potential for gaming. Good times 🙂
I knew an elderly couple that traveled with a box of envelopes, a book of stamps, and index cards. Every promotion, every lottery ticket they found on the ground with a second chance mail in, every mail in sweepstakes they would enter. These folks were literally wealthy just doing this. It's amazing how few people participate in these things and how that dramatically increases your odds of winning.
@@chriszhang1660 ok so many magazines and nowadays websites of companies have pages where they have mail in rebates, coupons, giveaways, sweepstakes etc. Most of the time you have to hunt them down, they don't always advertise them outright. The reason they kept these things is they would write their information down on these index cards and mail them to these companies for their official entry info and such, sometimes the index card was good enough for an entry. Nowadays I imagine it's mostly done online so I guess the box of envelopes is outdated. This was in 1995 96 era. And they would absolutely enter every single one they could find. By second chance mail ins I mean that on the back of many lottery tickets in America they have a few lines of info to fill in and an address to mail the ticket to and that enters you into a second chance to win the prize on the ticket, sometimes more. Most people don't do this, they just throw them away. So those folks would gather them all up and mail them in. Won a good bit of money doing so. They won a new Ford truck one year, some small lotteries, tons of food and coupons, free gas, vacations etc. It was quite lucrative for them.

@@michaelwido9383 well that's fine with me if I've got a roof over my head and money in my pocket for an emergency. As far as I see it, landlords are scumbags if they take advantage of us and increase the rent an outrageous amount after the lease is up. Fair is fair. 😁😁😁
Just a note here, in the UK lottery winnings are tax free, you only pay tax on any interest accrued. This applies to any prize won on any legal game of chance so if you, for example, win a Ferrari or a Rolls Royce in the US you could go bankrupt paying the luxury vehicle tax, in the UK you just drive it home.
Still laugh every time I hear someone say that america is the land of the free and home of the brave cuz how they can believe that bs is beyond me! The land of the tax slave and home of the chicken shite that won’t even question a mandate
the capital gains and lux taxes in the US are a percentage of the CASH VALUE of the item... NOT the MSRP (manufacturers' suggested retail price). so, if your local Ferrari dealership CLAIMS that car you just won is worth one million US $... you won't be taxed on that amount. but the actual Blue Book Sale Value of said car. this is how Mr.Beast the UA-camr helps his 'huge prize winners' get around the lux and capital gains taxes. because HIS accounting firm will help the winners FILE THEIR TAXES FOR FREE on any items/cash etc. folks win from Mr.Beast. that is also why many MANY contests in the US have fine print stating 'or the equivalent cash value of said item(s) may be given to the winner in lieu of the item in question'. the tax rate on CASH WINNINGS is different IN EACH US STATE let alone the tax rate on cash winnings by the IRS. oh and you don't have to pay VAT on winnings in the UK?
I won a free family vacation off of a candy giveaway! They said the hardest part of the giveaways was actually convincing people they won, and it wasn’t a scam. We had a wonderful trip!

I had collected several tickets as a kid of a Pepsi promotion for a Pepsi hat, took my dad 3 solid weeks before he wore them down enough to actually send the hat cos they were looking for any and every excuse to not do it (1990's).

I am 81 years old, and have lived in the Rocky Mountain states my whole life. Silver dollars were very popular in those states. It was common to have a pocket of silver dollars. They were heavy, and noisey, but I was sorry to see them go the way of the dodo bird when the feds changed the minting of silver dollars because the price of silver had risen so high. I still miss them for some reason.
My ggdad used to give me $2 bills. They’ve phased them out and I miss them bc I miss him. The hard thing sometimes was just being resigned to the fact that you couldn’t convince a dummy that they were real since the general public didn’t have Internet then.
Reminds me of being a kid and pulling something similar on a very small scale. Back in the early 90's they used to do prize caps on soft drinks, usually just for a free drink, but sometimes more. I discovered on bottled water you could read the bottom of the caps if you simply looked through the bottle a certain way. So while my mom went shopping, I'd just go raid the bottled water aisle and set aside winners. I kept busy and I didn't bother her while she shopped, it was a win win. She'd come back in about 15 minutes and we'd load up the winners. I had store staff ask me what I was doing a few times and I'd just blatantly tell them I was picking out winners and will keep the shelves organized. I don't think they realized I was being serious, they'd just shrug and walk away. Eventually they went to coding the caps and you'd have to enter the codes online to figure out if you were a winner.
Back when Xbox came out I was working at GameStop while Blockbuster had a generous promotional offer when at the same time they were trying to buy up any and all used DVDs. I forget how much the bonus was (probably $10 extra for trading in 3). Basically I was buying $1-3 dvds at GameStop and trading them at blockbuster for face value and the extra bonus. End result was that I got a basically free Xbox from blockbuster, off setting the initial cheap dvd cost by buying like two video games there and reselling for cash. Also obviously got a discount at GameStop.
Oh yeah, I remember looking under the caps of sodas when I was young. I don't remember that with bottled water, but I do remember that with Pepsi and whatnot.
@@Lavenderrose73 it had something to do with Jurassic Park. IIRC they put the letters under the caps along with random small prices. If you spelled out the full word "Jurassic Park" with the caps you got a free trip to Universal Studios or something. I didn't get all the letters in the end. 😅
@ilovetacos210 Back in that gap.😂 My son and i bought tons of them and never could spell out the whole "jurassic park" either. I think they sent out every letter but 1 to large areas, to make sure ypu would have to travel to another area to get the missing letter or letters. We quit when we had 20 sets of missing the same letter. My son was 14 that summer. He wanted to file a fraudulent law suit against them over it. I should've listened to him.
As a former Starbucks employee having worked there for 5 years between 2008-2013 I can safely say those records are poultry to what I have witnessed through my time. I’ve had to make Frappuccino’s in freaking water cooler jugs repurposed into travel mugs with one having at least 200 shots in it. Reason they never hit the news is that any system exploiter worth their salt doesn’t make it public cause it leads to changes made so that it can’t be exploited anymore.
24:21 the Starbucks thing did not work everywhere, I was living in San Diego at the time and was a gold member and had actually several free drinks coming, I went and tried to do it I did not bring my own container however I was told that it had to fit into one of their cups with the venti being the largest I questioned about the Trenti A 30 oz cup and was told, NO, They said that they were aware of the person who brought in their own cup and did this however health code does not allow them to take cups from outside of the business, I pointed out that they use reusable cups all the time. They said that they had to be able to wash the cup and that they were not allowed to wash cups that were larger than 32 oz So I brought in a 32 oz cup and got What would have cost me about 20 bucks but nothing near what these people are getting in pictures and things like that.
For several years a good deal of those $1 coins ended up in the Boston subway system's fare machines and were dispensed as change. On one trip to Boston my friend and I each used a $20 bill for $2 subway fares and we ended up with a total of 36 of those $1 coins between us that we couldn't seem to unload fast enough.
The denver lightrail system doesnt do this.. u get the exact amount of change back everything. Yes they have 1$ coins but they aint worth anything but a dollar.@alexsearcy8260
I worked at a big city radio station. and it's amazing how few people participated on some games, guess everyone thought there is no chance. so mostly we had a circle of 20 people winning all the time, and the station has arround 300.000 listeners.
I won a thousand bucks off one of those late night gameshows on tv, where you pay to call in. Got through, won, after they upped the price to a thousand, easily paid off the phone bill of a few dollars. However, you don't always get through, so most people think it's a scam, because it kind of is.
I was winning call-in radio trivia contests so frequently when I was in high school that multiple stations disqualified me from any more prizes. Of course, the prizes were almost always a t-shirt, water bottle or some book that only sold 3 copies. And I had to bike to the radio station to pick it up.

The loonie, introduced in 1987, was a replacement for the paper version of the Canadian dollar (CAD). This replacement was done both as a cost-saving measure and under pressure from vending machine operators and transit groups. On February 19, 1996, $2 coins were introduced.
My sister has an ex that went to a strip bar one night and instead of putting a toonie down the girl's top with his teeth, he tried it with 2 loonies and ended up swallowing one of them. 😅
I lived near the guy who tried that adverse possession trick to get a house. He would have been just fine if it weren't for all the uptight people that live around Flower Mound, TX. They were just jealous and harassed that poor man. They called the news stations, wrote spiteful letters, and made his life hell. We have a homelessness epidemic that will only get worse... and there are enough empty/abandoned homes to house EVERY PERSON affected at least 3 times over. Yet, all the banks (that get bailed out every time they screw up) would rather see them rot and fall into disrepair than allow us to solve a humanitarian crisis. This is why we can't have nice things.
that's all fine and dandy until you end up that person with every house around you is taken over. Yes that works in theory except where I live those houses you talk about gangs take over to sell drugs. Locals utilize them as party houses like not a house party but legit paid entry nightclubs and strip clubs and others use it to charge migrants to live in it rent and overfill it 20 fold. Let alone the one where it was basically turned into a casino with card games n such . Then you get into prostitution so on so forth point is would you like to live in an area where not only one house has that going on all hours of the night but multiple. Would you not be mad they pay nothing and you can't even let your children play in your own yard you pay for. Like come on this works if people treated it as it should be to get on ones feet and whatnot but that's not what happens. When you were a kid and parents or friends gave you something free you treated it differently as an adult when you paid for it taking better care of it if not u b lying to yourself lol I watch it with my kids n toys all the time Xmas stuff ends up missing parts but anything they earned with their own money they know where every single thing is of it. Even my one kids pokemon cards my son trades or gives away or flings them around. They ones he bought got this crazy binder that he won't even let his brother touch the others he gives to him free LoL
and I'm not saying your wrong with it all it does suck how banks all all are and yes it would be nice to use them for said things it's just whod police them or check they're even safe to occupy often enough or code enforcement and what not. We are in a police deficit in most places and they don't have enough code enforcement to start this but the man power in itself wouldn't be sustainable so while yes good in theory it's just not possible to give away free homes to all within the US. Don't forget about how many would refuse to work and what that would cause everyone would be like huh I can work and pay for a house or not and get a free house then work after I live in it long enough it's mine
@aaronjacq4045 don't get me started on "code enforcement". I attempted to collect rain water on my own land. I was threatened by code enforcement with citation/charges. Same thing when I attempted to set up a tent my own backyard (so me and my 4 y/o daughter could have a "camping adventure". The third and last time, I found them in my backyard because I had put an old sofa back there so we could be extra comfortable around the fire pit... i brought my 1911. Funny.... he never came back.
@@JankyBruvaround my parts code enforcement entails developers handshake deals on new construction and who you know on what gets wink winked on to pass. Even around town they have a no pool, she'd, or fence nonsense without approval (and extra pay) that hardly ever gets accepted before going through hoops but it's wildly know the people with not even sheds but backyard building additions, pool, and fence were on the city board in some capacity if not a grandparent or one of the "founding city families with street names" while they think they're super cool everyone else hates their guts and hate who's in power. Meeting hours held at times when normal jobed people couldn't attend. They even held a vote 4 hours away last year while at a convention for school boards thankfully someone sued and won. But point is who has multiple days they can just leave work or kids to go to conventions in other cities let alone hold illegal votes so no one shows
This guy is literally the biggest chad ever. He bought thousands of pudding containers, gave them all to charity, and took his family on a vacation for just over 3 grand. Truly amazing what the human race is capable of.

In Canada, we lost our pennies altogether and cash payments are rounded to the nearest $0.05 after it became too expensive to manufacture them. Then, we lost our $1.00 bill to a gold coloured coin with a loon on one side. We now call it a “loonie”. Then they took our$2.00 bill away and replaced it with a two-tone coin with a bear on it. No, it’s not a “Bearie’, it’s a,”toonie”. It practically eliminated the exotic dancer profession, because the smallest bill be have is now a $5! Plus, all cash trays and vending machines needed updating as well. Not to mention you now seriously need a coin purse just to keep all that change from wearing holes in your pockets!
The UK got rid of the 1 pound note in the '80s. It's because it's far more economical to make coins than notes: the average note lasts in circulation about nine months, while the average coin can last up to 40 years.
I worked in a factory where we produced blank film for food packages. One day we sent a batch of 24000 meters long rolls (36 rolls) to the LargeCustomer, which printed its product on the rolls, but wasn't satisfied with the output. We asked to return one printed roll as sample to evaluate the complain. They did. Well, the problem was that the printing was good, but the film was so fragile that it was easily torn apart. Ah, we had fun on cutting 24000 meters worth of coupons that the LargeCustomer printed on the product.
There's a much better loophole than adverse possession with much less risk of losing any potential equity you may put into it, and evictions tend to stay on a person's record for quite a while. What you do, is go to your municipality's tax lien listings. Pay the taxes on a house that you want. Doing so makes you an official lien holder to that property. Which means you own a little bit of the house. Eventually one of two things will happen. Either the property owners will have to pay off the lien, or they will have to surrender possession to the lien holder. The timing is different by location. In ND, the original owner has 2 years to pay off the lien. If not, the property is all yours.
They tried this on me. County taxes are covered by bankruptcy, so I sent out letters of intent to file. That was seven years ago. Not a peep out of any party involved and the county has removed the property from their registry. If I had been paying taxes, I would have paid for my house twice now. Paying real estate tax is morally wrong.
Get your parents to buy a house 30 years ago and pay off the mortgage, inherit the house and their savings to pay off any inheritance tax, live in the house rent free… you are welcome
I go to Panera Bread. One time, I got a promotion deal of 1 free coffee, or ice coffee per day. The only problem with that was I don't like coffee. I like Pepsi. I asked the cashier if I can exchange that for a fountain soda. She said no. A couple days later, the manager showed me a brilliant idea. The same cup used for iced coffee is the same cup used for the fountain soda. So, all I had to do was order an iced coffee, and I would get a free soda.
In the late 90s soda companies had games on their caps where you could win free sodas. I figured out how to tell which bottles were the winners. Coke, Pepsi, Sprite, Mt Dew, you name; I figured out how to tell on all of them. My grandparents owned a grocery store. I filled the coolers. I would go through every delivery and set aside all the winning caps. I went years without paying for soda. I also won a bunch of stuff too.
“My grandparents owned a grocery store. I filled the coolers. I would go through every delivery and set aside **all the winning caps**.” You stole the chance of winning from any other customer. Is that what you are proud of? Being a jackass?
@@karoljankaminski5793Not to make excuses but I was 10yrs old at the time and didn't know any better. Sure it was entirely a jackass move but I only saw it as I outsmarted two major corporations. It's obviously not something I would do today. You live and learn.

The reason dollar coins never catch on is simple: They're always too similar to quarters. No one ever uses them because they're afraid they'll give out a dollar when they intended to give out a quarter without realizing it. Even when they made them slightly hexagonal, in the 1980's (I believe). But the angles were too slight. You could hardly tell there were points unless you really looked at it. In the 1960's the dollar coin (then known as a silver dollar) was substantially larger. It was easy to tell the two apart. But since then they made the silver dollar only about 1/10 larger than a quarter. And they fell into disuse. If the US mint would stop being so chintzy and add a bit more size/weight to the coins people might start using them again.
In Aotearoa/New Zealand and in Australia the $1 and $2 coins are a gold colour and about twice the thickness of our 20c and 50c coins, which are a silver colour. Both countries dollar coins look pretty similar but, here in Aotearoa the $2 is larger. Trouble is in Australia - for some inexplicable reason, their $1 is LARGER than their $2, which ends up with lots of Australian $1 coins getting spent as $2 here. 😊
If you're talking American dollars, they were never hexagonal. They had a raised rim around the edge whose inside profile had 13 sides for the 13 colonies. Since (I believe) the year 1999, with the advent of the Sacajawea dollars, the coins have been gold-colored to differentiate them from quarters. I love them, and use them nearly every day. They're the most value-efficient coin that we have, and perfect for bus fare where I live.
I believe when Mass did an investigation into the Cash Windfall lottery game they identified at least one or two other lottery players who had also independently figured out how to beat the system.
It's funny that when there's a tax loophole the govt is very quick to remove that loophole. In their minds it would be catastrophic if the general public saved some money with the loophole. But having a loophole that results in lawless land where someone could be murdered? And the govt is like "Ehh we'll take our sweet time getting to that"
18:25 There was a student at a large Californian university that rocked up to pay his yearly tuition with a wheelbarrow full of loose Silver Dollars and they were about to reject it outright until somebody got the idea to call the college lawyers, who told them Silver Dollars were legal currency for all payments and debts, and if they rejected his payment he'd legally be able to study for the next year for FREE .... they accepted the payment. As an addendum, and something many people DON'T KNOW, in the USA pennies are only legal up to 50c and loose change (1c, 5c, 10c, 25c) is only legal up to $5.
The zone of death falls under federal law and under federal law a federal judge can move the trial as needed, there is no loop hole for federal law. It would only be an issue for state law. Also, any crime that started outside the boundary would be chargeable in the state where it started. This loophole has been debunked repeatedly, it exists only in abstract because the legal remedy already exists under federal statute, it's similar to how US federal courts can charge crimes against its citizens even if the crime is committed outside the borders of the US or at sea.
Yup, and Federal Law trumps State Law whenever a conflict between the two arises. Granted, it requires to federal courts to decide whether prosecuting it over the State's right to prosecute should take precedence, especially as Double Jeopardy definitely applies unless the violation runs afoul of certain specific circumstances, like military law and state law, where an acquittal in one doesn't mean you're scot free as the other can freely charge and prosecute you. More than one person has found that out the hard way.
@@jgkitareldoes the existence of mr trump trump both federal and state law? Given part of Mr trump's heritage is Scottish, could he be scot free regarding the allegations made against him?
We weren't given a choice here in Aotearoa New Zealand. It was simply announced that the one dollar bill, then a few years later the two dollar bill, were going to be withdrawn from circulation on X date and that we had until Y date to exchange them at the bank. After the second date they stopped being valid currency, and were simply worthless. Pretty sure it was the same in Australia when they changed there too. The coins are fine, we got used to them pretty quickly. They're both small gold coins about twice the thickness of the silver coloured cent coins - here in NZ the $1 is smaller than the $2 but, in Australia it's the other way around - which is not just silly, it means that lots of Australian $1 coins get passed off as $2 coins here in NZ. Nice way to double your holiday money 😁

I heard in England a guy was granted ownership of a manor house after squatting there for over 12 years so I think it's something like if it's empty and you can live there over a decade without amenities it's yours, I like the windfall lottery that's awesome but my word some hefty taxes!!
It’s actually only 5 years, not 12 years. If you start paying the property taxes, turn on all the utilities in your own name, and just act like it’s your property, no one claims it, it yours after 5 years.
If you want to do adverse possession legally and legitimately, you need to find a property that is NOT owned by the bank. That was his mistake. Then you need to contact the current owner, tell them you are "an investor" and that you think their property has "potential" and then you get permission to be a "maintainer." The owner most likely hasn't made any payments on the house, so tell them you will pay the property taxes. You'll also need to be paying for the utilities. The owner, whose credit has probably tanked, will most likely agree. If you are paying the property taxes and utilities for 3 years, then you can claim adverse possession. Some jurisdictions are 5 years. This information came from my real estate friend in california. So 3 things need to happen: 1. NOT owned by the bank yet, 2. Current owner needs to know about it, 3. You need to be paying the property taxes and utilities.
@@jamesodell3064 Yeah adverse possession requires open and notorious trespass. The mere act of the owner granting permission to use the land removes the Trespass aspect so adverse possession claims cannot be filed without meeting that requirement
July 1st of 2024 is when I made my UA-cam channel. I have beat the system before by explaining why the word 'Sugar' was weird. This happened at school, in 5th grade. '1,000 IQ play!' and all that. I was proud of myself. There you go, I shared my smarts for everyone.
The problem with identical twins is not new. Well over 100 years ago the same problem occurred with Chang and Eng Bunker, the original "Siamese Twins". One of them regularly got drunk and several times was arrested but in this case, even though it was known which twin was guilty he could not be punished because it would mean that the innocent brother would have to go to gaol as well.
With the Twins there is a law that states that if you block the course of justice, which both would be guilty of, you are deemed an associate of a murderer. That in itself could get them both a long stretch in prison.

It really does depend on the manager. Any manager looking out for the business' bottom line, would simply say no, regardless and then pretend that the State laws doesn't allow it while at the same time, refilling the bus drivers coffee mug with the sip hole. One could then sue the company for having a 'fake' Gold ticket system where the customer buys in, but can't win. No biz wants this bad publicity, so they just allow it until they figure out how to sew up the loophole. OTOH, most customers aren't going to fight the store manager.
We use them in Canada, and it has been working fine also we got rid of the penny! Oh one more thing if you want to pay a huge amount of money in pennies or any coin remember that coins are not legal tender, look on any bill and you will see legal tender, but you can't find it on coins!

Eight months rent for only $16 total is still a really good deal. That works out to $2 a month. I double dare everyone to comment below a time and place where you could buy or rent a home for less than two dollars a month!

It's amazing how few people participate in these things and how that dramatically increases your odds of winning.

yea! i won a million $ on a scratch off, and $10k a month before. but that doesnt have much to do with your vomme t i guess 😂
I don’t understand. Could you please explain how they do it? For example what is second chance mail in?

I am 81 years old, and have lived in the Rocky Mountain states my whole life. Silver dollars were very popular in those states. It was common to have a pocket of silver dollars. They were heavy, and noisey, but I was sorry to see them go the way of the dodo bird when the feds changed the minting of silver dollars because the price of silver had risen so high. I still miss them for some reason.
Idk why but cloning those coins together is like a muckbang experience to me-it’s oddly satisfying!

@ilovetacos210
Back in that gap.😂
My son and i bought tons of them and never could spell out the whole "jurassic park" either.

You r so right
that's all fine and dandy until you end up that person with every house around you is taken over.

“Dollar coins never implemented” Australia: hey you bastard come here!
Not if they're gold they aren't the same as quarters.
Agreed! I love coins ... it's fun to go to Canada and use all their bright coins.
I don’t think that’s the reason, in Canada we have $1 and $2 coins and there’s no way you’d mix them up. It’s generally because of how bulky they are
I believe when Mass did an investigation into the Cash Windfall lottery game they identified at least one or two other lottery players who had also independently figured out how to beat the system.
It's funny that when there's a tax loophole the govt is very quick to remove that loophole. In their minds it would be catastrophic if the general public saved some money with the loophole. But having a loophole that results in lawless land where someone could be murdered? And the govt is like "Ehh we'll take our sweet time getting to that"
lol
I would love to see a part two to this someday. I love your videos like this
The 2nd story with free hotel - recently there was actually a guy who was able to get the entire deed of the hotel in his name using this loophole.

More than one person has found that out the hard way.
very interesting
Damn. There go my plans to invite my enemies on a camping trip.

In oz any old currency is still legal tender. Usually theyre worth more in the coinshop, otherwise i have taken them to the reserve bank. Even an exactly cut half of a $50 dollar note, they measured and gave me $25-.
@@EmeraldHill-vo1cs That's both cool AND insane. I think our notes will be honoured only if there's both numbers so, a half note would be worth nothing. I don't know how true that is though. When l lived in Aus l'd collected about 10 of those round 50c coins that had the silver in them. It's so long ago that l can't remember now but, l think they were worth about $7 each. Some toe-rag knicked them at a party though. What annoys me most is they probably spent them as 50c pieces. 😏
That's what Canadians do when they come to the Detroit area. They spend those pennies, dimes, nickels and quarters like there's no tomorrow.
I don't understand how the landlord had a room listed for rent for $0 a month?
I worked for a warehouse chain that had warehouses in several states. In Maryland you were paid, $18 an hour, while in New York you were paid $32 an hour, in Utah $9 an hour. Basically you're paid for menial labor jobs based on the cost of living in whatever state you live. Each of those wages will basically get you the very basics in the state.
Utah is a right to work state where unions are illegal. They suppress wages heavily there. GOP strong hold
Unions are not illegal. They just can't force you to join one. ANd wages are not suppressed, Democrats artificially bring wages up which brings up over all costs. Keep beveling their nonsense. @@lisaofparvatitherapy3865

So the moral of this story is;
life long is only for a moment,
then the moments gone? Poor pudding guy.
If the owner gives someone permission it is not an adverse possession.
@@jamesodell3064 Yeah adverse possession requires open and notorious trespass. The mere act of the owner granting permission to use the land removes the Trespass aspect so adverse possession claims cannot be filed without meeting that requirement
What if the current owner is deceased?
yes sir I don't remember if it is for every state but while in house/property it might be. maintained, caring for your new house just likes New house.

July 1st of 2024 is when I made my UA-cam channel. I have beat the system before by explaining why the word 'Sugar' was weird. This happened at school, in 5th grade. I said 'Wanna know why the word 'Sugar' is weird? It's because it starts with the 'sh' sound, even though it starts with only an s and no h!'. All my classmates were like 'She beat the system!' '1,000 IQ play!' and all that. I was proud of myself. I got the same celebration when I explained what a crop was when the teacher asked what a crop was, and if anyone wanted to know, the crop is an organ in a bird's neck or chest used to store food for later if the food is hurriedly swallowed.

God-tier calculations.

With the Twins there is a law that states that if you block the course of justice, which both would be guilty of, you are deemed an associate of a murderer. That in itself could get them both a long stretch in prison.
I read the title as “How this guy used PUDDING to get free vaccinations FOREVER” and then when he mentioned air miles I was like…wait what? And had to re read the title lol. I think I’m just a little dumb…

years ago there was a guy in my area who would break into abandon places, change his mailing address to said place then fix it up and create receipts. when the family finally discovered him at their house they had to go through a whole eviction process and pay him for the "work" he did. squatters rights are insane
This is just so cool! I've heard of a couple of other guys who did the same sort of thing, buying up to win something. It would take a lot of determination & patience, & reading all the fine print on all contests to be sure u could win what u set out to win. Also, a good mathematical mind to be able to figure it all out. Definitely not for me 😂 but I have great respect for anyone like the Pudding Guy! One of the guys I heard about had something to do with a plane? Did he win a plane? My memory is crap so maybe I'm way off!
your thinking about the guy that got pepsi points so they would have to give him a fighter jet cause they said it in the commercial (as a joke probably) and i think they gave him the dollar equivalent cause they didnt have a jet to give.
Agreed with you. Plus, given the pudding guy have very precise calculations. He got the money to buy all those when times are too expensive and layoffs. Most people have no money to buy a meal for themselves.

Am I missing something here... How were those people allowed to just bring in any random container for their Starbucks?
Fake news
i'd assume either the baristas didn't know it wasn't allowed or it was allowed
It really does depend on the manager. Any manager looking out for the business' bottom line, would simply say no, regardless and then pretend that the State laws doesn't allow it while at the same time, refilling the bus drivers coffee mug with the sip hole. One could then sue the company for having a 'fake' Gold ticket system where the customer buys in, but can't win. No biz wants this bad publicity, so they just allow it until they figure out how to sew up the loophole. OTOH, most customers aren't going to fight the store manager.
I always take these videos with a pinch of salt
@@tpkyterooluebeck9224 Typical American,. always thinking about sueing someone....get a dam life man!
We use them in Canada, and it has been working fine also we got rid of the penny! Oh one more thing if you want to pay a huge amount of money in pennies or any coin remember that coins are not legal tender, look on any bill and you will see legal tender, but you can't find it on coins!
The pudding guy took a tax write off. No wonder I am poor as I would have felt guilty.

I heard that American kids are failing math left, right, and also center. I said "naaaw that can't be right", then I heard the narrator say this:
@16:05 "Dollar coins however, last 16X longer than paper notes do. The lifespan of a dollar bill is around 6.6 years, but a dollar coin can last around 30 years"
That is some funky arithmetic right there.
I just posted that too. It's around 105-106 years if my maths is correct. Definitely something a little funky going on with the maths I reckon 😂

Canada got rid of one dollar and two dollar bills and has coins in those denominations instead.
Makes total sense considering coins last about 50 times longer!
Eight months rent for only $16 total is still a really good deal. That works out to $2 a month. I double dare everyone to comment below a time and place where you could buy or rent a home for less than two dollars a month!
So he got free plane trips. Not free vacations.
Miles can be used for all aspects of a vacation, from airfare to hotel charges to dining and often even more just by using affiliates of the airline you have the miles with.
New yorkers on average spend a LOT more than 117 hours a year stuck in traffic. I lived in New York for over 8 years, and whether commuting on public transit or driving, it took about an hour each way or more. Given a normal 5 day work week, 2 hours a day (one hour to work one hour to home) that's 10 hours a week. times that by 52 weeks and ou're looking at 520 hours based on these low end numbers.
