You can start small by finding more natural food options in place of processed food choices. If it is difficult to go cold turkey on all carb and sugary foods (which usually is very tough anyway), try to replace highly processed carb to less processed carbs then move on to reducing the amount. It usually works better to reduce your carb intake when you are already eating mostly complex carbs. If you have been eating mostly carb diet, it probably will be challenging to add more protein to your regular diet. Roasted or boiled or grilled chicken is an easy way to add a good quality protein in your diet. Throw ‘em in practically everything you cook. :) To me, just boiling or grilling a lot of chicken breast once a week was the easiest way to add it to everything. Cubbed ones can be thrown into salads and stir fries. You can shredded it, add some mayo and/or some hot sauce (I like chipotle sauce), and add some chopped pickle to use in sandwiches, salads, wraps, and whatever you can think of.

Over the last 4 or 5 weeks, I’ve been learning about keto and gradually changing my diet to comply with keto principles. It’s an ongoing education and so far I’ve lost 10lbs. One huge difficulty for me has been dealing with breakfast. Over the past few years I’d gotten into the habit of eating a bowl of oat flakes with oat milk every morning believing it was a healthy choice, after all on the cereal box it said it was “good for the heart”! How wrong could I have been 😮. Anyway, the cereal box is empty now so that has stopped and I’ve moved to having a couple of eggs with a rasher of bacon for breakfast later in the morning, after working out; more of a brunch. Hopefully this will make an even bigger difference. My other vice has been chocolate and giving that up has been a challenge. The other day it was a friend’s birthday and they produced this amazing looking, mass-produced supermarket chocolate cake and insisted I had a piece. I succumbed to temptation and had a very thin slice. Afterwards I felt pretty lousy and when checked the ingredients I was shocked to find that the tiny piece I had contained 58 grams of carbs and 29 grams of sugar! Treating food like this as poison is a big wake-up call. We live and learn, onwards and upwards. 😂

Get a good quality chocolate bar that’s like 90% cacao. A square or two once a week for a treat isn’t going to hurt.

I remember learning in chemistry back in high school that margarine is about 1 molecule away from being plastic. Having many vegan friends means i try to make conscious choices but also being mindful of the contents of things is why i can never label myself, rather try to choose wholefoods and less peocessed healthier options. I don't use butter often, but when i do, I'll always choose it over margarine

My question to you would be why are you not listening to Doctors that specialize in KETO and nutritional advice and why are you getting your information from a social media person just regurgitating what they read somehwhere? The facts are simple, you should not always be on KETO diet. Its silly to support people like this, thta are not experts in the field because you will only get misinformation like 15 foods to avoid on a keto diet - when keto is not the true answer for healthy living - its a combination of healthy choices and exercise, and eliminating harmful vices, like drinking alcohol and smoking cigerettes. When this idiot tries to talk people out of eating bananas and pineapples showing they have too much carbs, I wish I could reach through my screen and smack some sense into her. So the extreme levels of keto this video is pandering off is actually misguiding people into thinking that you cant eat bananas, or other natural sugars warning they will spike your insulin levels arent like they make you think. All this person is doing in the end is trying to pander off links, and expand their viewership at your expense propogating new popular myths. And this is from a prolonged faster, who eats healthy and has found keto restrictions are not the answer to healthy living. But, Im not out there trying to gain internet clout, like this idiot is. But whose the bigger idiot, this person for making this generic videos, or the idiots dumb enough to support such a person, instead of finding the facts about keto, paleo, ketovore, and all the other diet fads out there, versus what is practical, common sense and most effective.

New to your channel. Australian living in Spain, for 10 weeks only l have been very strict with KETO, intermittent fasting around 14 to 15 hours 6 times per week, gym and run regularly, age almost 61, was 74,7 kg and now 66,0 kg. Remarkable. The only thing l wconsuming in your 15 baddies was a smoothie. Yet with almond milk 0% sugars added with a protien powder strawberry you buy from those muscle shops that contains practically 1gm of carbs plus 4 to 5 strawberries. This is generally after a workout to replenish protein. KETO method, the truth is terrific for what l have encountered, but is not sociable for certain celebrations and lots of sacrifices that truely become warranted when the results are impressive when standing on the scale or looking in the mirror. Great video, knowledge is king.

Don't be so hasty with the oats. Everyone is different, have you checked YOUR blood sugar after eating oats. I did several tests with my blood sugars and oats under strict supervision, and they are fine for me. My blood sugars did not spike and crash, but went up slowly and came down slowly as they should. No cravings after and my blood sugar went to what many people would love to have after fasting. So once again, everyone is different and one size does not fit all. 😊

I don’t consume many of these foods. I do eat pizza once in a while because my husband doesn’t cook. That’s what he does on his day to “cook.” 😂
It’s hard to break cultural habits. Thus I do eat flour tortillas but rarely. They taste good with butter or cheese. I don’t buy them. My parents & siblings…well most family members have it. I’m Mexican. I think that’s the hardest one to break. I do get egg wraps as an alternative. Of course it isn’t the same.

Hey! Hi! I prefer organic unsweetened coconut milk in things over dairy. It's just a matter of taste, nothing more. (In fact, right now, I am having a coffee with a heaping tablespoon of coconut milk and a teaspoon of ground Ceylon cinnamon.) When I want almond milk, I make my own. Cheap and better than any store bought one. For a sweetener, I like monkfruit, as I think it's closer to white sugar in flavor. On the rare occasion that I need brown sugar, I use unprocessed coconut sugar, which tastes the same or even better. Why have a flavored yogurt when you can have a candy bar (being sarcastic). When I have rice, I only use very well washed brown basmati. Konjac/shiritaki rice/noodles are great. Just make sure it isn't one of those fake brands mixed with soy. Finally, cereal is junk. It's sold as a breakfast tradition, but a little tradition breaking anarchism would be good with cereal. Take it easy.

Your stupid if you think natural honey is bad for you? This person is regurgitating silly notions, because they are not an expert in their field but someone simply trying to make money off passing bad information. Real honey will not stop you from losing weight, and this absolute 25 grams of carbs, is not written in stone, for every single body type. These social media nutitionists, or health coach are doing more harm than good, as they are actually passing on misinformation. Honey, real honey, not GMO'd, high fructose corn syrup honey, will do more good for you than bad, when you understand all the facts, not just the ones this person and those fad dieters propogate. Wake up, because youre being fooled by this video person who doesnt really know what shes talking about, whose only copying what others are spreading to gain a followship online.

'cognac rice' .. do you mean konjac rice? I use konjac rice, or the shirataki rice and noodles, as they're also, like cauliflower rice, made from vegetables. You can also make cabbage rice, or mushroom rice, but really, the konjac or shirataki are the nicest, and closest to the rice food experience.

ALL bread users should be using keto breads considering the massive diabetes epidemic world wide right now. Best to use non wheat types. You can add for taste some cinnamon, blueberries or other berries, nuts, seeds, olive oil or butter. This will be one large loaded toast to be filling and very tasty. You can also make keto toast with different tastes using your choice of so many kinds of nuts and berries, also seeds I use are sunflower, pumpkin, seseme different days. Chia seeds I eat alone with water. I dump on loads of xv olive oil first but you can use real butter. One toast is usually filling when loaded with extra ingredients above. Avoid rice, potatoes, breads, sugar drinks to help your anti-diabetes diet.

Cloud bread is made from egg white egg yolk cream cheese cream of tartar and a little garlic powder look it up and you'll find out it's a very healthy keto bread that has zero net carbs it's made from pure protein they also have flowers that are made from pure grass-fed grass-finished beef it's called carnivore and there's a whole bunch of different flowers that got one net carb and they have some that are zero net carbs

The only thing on this list that I do eat is keto bread. I only buy from Thinslim Foods. I don't have wheat allergies or inflammation so that does not affect me. Their products are pure and lab tested to not affect blood glucose. I have no negative reaction to their products. Ingredients are pure and there are no preservatives. It's not a bread replacement, it's an alternative. I have had non keto friends try it and hate it and say it tastes like paper- but for me it's really good.

I occasionaly make my own keto bread/baked goods. My most recent recipe uses egg whites and flax seeds. I figure using the yolks with that to make scrambled egg sandwiches would be best. Also, my low carb pancakes use 1/4-1/2 banana along with choc protien powder, and an egg. I add i nuts, and top with berries cooked in animal fat, ghee, or evoo. And recently ive wanted smoothies. My fruit smoothies even pre keto had a nice helping of either yogurt or milk. Post keto i often added chia or flax seeds and used only berries. My most recent smoothies im using apple, unsweetened shaved coconut, alvacado, whey isolate choc protien powder, ground ginger, and home made whole milk yogurt made with raw milk. I pair with meat or eggs, or other animal flesh. Today i had some pepperoni slices with it as a easy on the go brunch/break fast meal option. Sooo good.

I'm starting to experiment with making my own version of Tropical Smoothie's peanut paradise. Peanut butter, Two Good yogurt ( 2g of carbs, 11g of protein), cinnamon, no banana ( one of the few high carb foods I actually don't like), and whey protein. I may use butter and maybe a splash of milk if I don't have yogurt. I may add a little dark chocolate occasionally, too. And a raw egg or two. ( Not really on the eggs).

I’m kinda scared to be doing this, but I went and bought pink Himalayan salt, potassium and magnesium and hope that helps tomorrow. What do you think about drinking ketones? Please help me I’m doing pretty good and not hungry and can go 20 hrs fasting and eat a small protein dinners and yes, getting in all my electrolytes and 130 ozs of water. I weigh 160. Thank you for any advice you can give me! This means the world to me🥰🙏🏻

@@sheliroberts6861 I was afraid you wpould say that 🥲 I do think ektones can be beneficial, however, mainly for athletic performance and energy. If weight loss is your main goal then I wouldn't waste your money on them, instead opt for something like MCT oil to boost ketones ua-cam.com/video/57SF4pHMwkQ/v-deo.html If you are still keen on using ketones I would recommend HVMN or Perfect Keto and not Pruvit.

I lost 88lbs with a keto diet, my normal daily routine is one high fat, high protien meal with a nice avocado/almond milkshake if im feeling naughty! It works and im on the verge of carnivore diet but I like brokkoli and avocados most. I rarely feel hungry, but if I do I eat my meal. So I fast around 23 hours every day.
