    Thank you for this informative video! I have used Evernote since 2011 and I recently upgraded to the iPad Pro 12.9” screen and purchased the Apple Pencil as an accessory. I began research into note-taking apps that work best with Apple Pencil and found that Notability was a top choice among users. I was fortunate to come across your video during my research. I had no idea if Evernote and Notability would “play well” together. Your video was informative and specific, noting the important features of each product and how they integrate with one other. A huge thanks for the video and your time to deliver outstanding content. Much appreciation!

    So thorough without unnecessary fluff. Thank you! I was looking for one solution and now am open to a hybrid solution.

    I am a writer and a pastor, which means I write sermons every week. Each sermon has something like 8 or 9 notes. So I also have thousands of notes in Evernote. But I am using an iPad 6 more and more and attracted to the handwriting in Notability. Evernotes handwriting is crude. I've watched at least a half dozen videos on this topic and yours was by the far the most helpful, the most well thought out, the one that really answered questions. Thanks for sharing this. And as a side note... how wonderful that you didn't feel a need to put distracting graphical candy in it, when the point was what you were saying. Good choice.

      If you are an Evernote user, I would look at Noteshelf 2. It syncs to Evernote and it is search able there. If you need an accurate handwriting to text application, go for MyScript Nebo. It is converts your handwriting in real time.

    I am your typical post-it note user. I wanted Notability on my iPad so I could jot down ideas. Now I have dozens of them that are not well organised. I do like the idea of the tag in Evernote. Thanks for that.

    There is so much wisdom shared in this video that goes beyond the topic of these two apps working together.
    Thank you, I'm definitely modifying my workflow as someone who wants to use iPad Pro as my primary mobile work tool while retraining cross platform and better organization.

    Simple and effective…thank you…there are so many options out there…you really have to take a step back and think about how you take notes, and then how you refer to and utilize them with the least amount of mental friction…

    Excellent video! I have tried using each exclusively (didn't work), and figuring out how to put them together. I have given up a number of times. You offered some ideas that I hadn't considered, so I am ready to try again! I love your straightforward style as well!

    It was helpful to see another person's workflow as I am trying to modify my own. Thanks for the information. I recommend reducing the volume of your sound effects a tad and introducing a music track in parts or all of the video to provide background sound that can help maintain interest in the video as you share your content.

    Thanks for sharing. I have used Evernote for years and am enjoying Notability for being able to take more meaningful notes and remember things better. I like the connection it gives me with what I'm writing.
    My organization is a mess, since now I have to look in more than one place for my documents and information. I like some of your ideas and am interested in trying them out. I have probably 10-15 notes in Notability that I update regularly, but I can send the rest away into evernote.

    Great video thanks! For years, I've used paper notebooks and Evernote in much the same way you are using Notability. Since I just got an iPad this week, this video is exactly what I was hoping to find, for how I can transform my process to include the new technology. (new to me)

    This is a really great explanation for both apps and how to use them effectively together. The content is relatable and understandable, and you clearly put a lot of work into the video production. I just had a hard time hearing you occasionally at the end of sentences (totally normal due to needing to take a breath). If you put a run-of-the-mill compressor on your audio, it would really help even out the volume. Thanks for posting!

    Life would be much easier if Evernote would spend the money and bring Penultimate (Evernote in-house handwriting app) to Notability level.

    Not being able to simply dump my h/w notes from notability into Evernote. Screenshoting is always subject to glitches and interruption.

    Nice workflow, and thanks for sharing. Just wondering if there was any particular reason you chose Notability over Good Notes.

    • @marblejarchannel
      @marblejarchannel  3 роки тому +1

      I think originally it was because only Notability allowed me to insert photos and handwrite on them. Good Notes may have that capability now, but it didn't at the time that I was choosing!
