Chad is pretty cool. The other guy, not so much. Reminds me of my old weird Uncle Bob. But thanks for the instructive cleaning vid. I'm new to muzzleloading and need to know this stuff. Oh, and what if I want to shoot lead ball ammo instead of Powerbelts? How does barrel leading change the cleaning process? Many thanks.
I have a Optima steel barrel muzzle loader, was under my bed when my house caught fire. Fire was put out before it got to the bedroom but the muzzle did get smoke on it, stock didn't melt though. Any products that will take off the smoke damage from the barrel?

Can you put the boar plug in water for a substitute to clean it?
