"He looks a lot like his father, but he's also got some traits from his mother." This was the first thing that came to mind when I thought about how to apply the noun "trait" to a sentence. I'm looking to take the CPE this year here in California and I find your videos very helpful. Thank you!
My caractère trait is that I am not gloomy I take on the positive side of things that is peddling hope for passing Cambridge Advanced level exam to be a staunch follower of your channel
Oh My! C2 vocabulary can be so overwhelming!! Much as I love playing with words, sometimes I feel it is too much, but yeah!! I am one of those English students you mention, with that perseverance trait, 😂😂😂. Thank you Ben!.
It never ceases to amaze me how well-thought-out and helpful your videos are, Ben! I wish I had been preparing for my CPE with your videos, but I didn't have the time as the necessity to take the exam popped out quite unexpectedly and I wasn't given much time to prepare. Still, I watch your videos whenever I have some free time and I always learn something new!
Thanks for the video! I am starting my CPE preparation journey, and there isn't much content as well as books and courses for it. Feel lucky to bump into your channel!
Hi Ben, As a staunch follower of your channel, I can't merely await your next video. Here are my examples : My old English teacher is a staunch believer I'll never reach a C2 level but I shrug off and keep going. Ben dislodged my thinking of not beeing good enough in reading English books. These reality shows are trite and therefore not worth of being watched. That was an outstandig video and I wrote them all out to make my own Flash Cards. Thank you so much👍❤️
Nice vid... thanks :) I'm actually a native English speaker but for various reasons will do the CPE exam, and even I don't know all the words! Like, "vociferous"... who uses that? Lol
Thank you very much, Ben. I wonder if the following sentence is grammatically correct: Knowledge, experience and kindness are some of your most noticeable traits. (?). ❤
I wonder how Cambridge (or any other) jury perceives someone who is really proficient in speaking, but at the same time they display some "mannerisms", for example extensive use of a specific interjection throughout all conversation; eg. 'like', or self-affirmation 'yeah', etc. Does that earn any negative points?
Ben, you're one of my favorite teachers on You Tube. You're always curious about what makes learning English difficult so that you can support students. I cannot remember the meaning of "draw" in several circumstances. At all. I feel stuck and full of doubt whenever I come across this word. Would you consider helping me in getting over this pain?
"draw your sword" - said he. After a fierce battle, ultimately the fin score was a draw. We can draw a conclusion from today's presentation that it is possible to learn a language in a year. Here are some examples. Hope it helps!
Hey hey! Thanks to your guidance I passed my CAE exam with flying colours (I got C2!) :))) Good luck everybody, it's not scary at all!!!!!!!
Congratulations, Zuzanna! 🎉
I took the CAE exam yesterday. The reading and listening parts were very hard! The rest of the exam was perfect. I hope I'll pass...
Good job. Let us know when you get the results
How I love these Sunday meetings with you, Ben!
Everything, even the toughest stuff, is explained in an easy, comforting, soothing way ☺️
That's good to know. Thanks, Marylka 😊
Thank you so much, your videos helped me out whilst I was studying. I took the CAE this year and achieved C2.

Consistancy is such a trait when it comes to learning a new language!
It is always good to watch your videos Ben, amazing content. Thank you!

@@mhmahamhmOf course, it's helpful! Welcome!
Are these words/phrases formal enough to be used in writing/speaking?
"trite" means more or less the same as "cliched" (I hope I am right)
Thank you Ben for this useful video.
