U r the best!
Hello teacher Ben. Here's my example!
When it comes to language learning, it's really challenging to tackle the anxiety of getting fluency. Most of the time I'm dread about grammar contents and I try to hasten things, even though I'm conscious that this attitude can hinder my progress and jeopardise my final results on exams. In order to thrive and succeed we have not to shirk our responsability as learners, embrace the opportunities and calm ourselves down.
Excellent!
Hahaha this is a good one 😂👍
Amazing!
damn that's a very good one!
I'm a native English speaker but find these videos useful for my studies of French. They illustrate the types of words and phrases encountered at this level. Thanks.
Hi Ben, these verbs are extremely useful. I encounter many of them when I read newspapers or watch any series. So, I highly appreciate this video. I have good news, at least for me. I don’t want to hinder your job, and that’s why I haven’t shirked the responsibility to write this comment. Anyway, you don’t need to dread that I won't post anymore, because I can promise you that I cherish your way of teaching. It greatly helps me thrive in English every single day. In fact, I crave to keep watching all your videos. Despite jeopardising my eye health by spending so much time in front of a screen, you don’t need to worry; if I encounter any trouble, I will tackle it. On the other hand, surprisingly enough, I’m not the kind of student who wants to hasten their learning process, because I enjoy the journey. As you know, there are no shortcuts to learning English. In conclusion, with your permission, I embrace you because you help me a lot in my own learning process. Take care, Ben!
Hi Ben, I am a new subscriber and I am blown away.. these verbs are wicked 😍 I will cherish them and use them during my future C2 exam 😊 Thanks a million and keep going!
You're very welcome, Elena!
Hey Ben,
You've pratically been my go-to channel during my revision for the C1 Advanced, and I am pretty glad to announce that I passed it, so thank you very much for your efforts in regard to explaining the categories, and sub-categories of the exam, it was very helpful and is much appreciated.
That's great! Congratulations!! I'm glad I could help a little. 🙂
Same! I also passed (even got level C2, didn't expect that to happen), and I couldn't be more grateful for Ben's hard work and all his videos on C1 Advanced
That's so nice! Congratulations and thank you! 🙂
That's so nice! Congratulations and thank you! 🙂
As a muslim, I should embrace the opportunity to tackle any temptation with arduous effort and not shirk the responsibilities.

My English is not at C level (tests say B2), but I know seven of these verbs. Maybe there is a slight improvement. I'm always shy when using new, different words. My anxiety is about that the word will not fit the level or context of my speech and will go funny. It is hard to control words like in one's mother tongue. Thank you for your videos.
I am very grateful to you for your lessons! I hope your channel will thrive!
I like your honesty!!
Thank you very much for this collection of words. Keep up the good work!
Really useful verbs, Ben. Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely perfect. One minute of watching this video is enough to understand that this is what I was looking for.
Here is my example Sir Ben..
I hope its correct...🤞
Never shirk your duties and never hinder abilities by dreading about the final consequences. Sometimes life jeopardizing you to tackle most difficult situations to give you something. Always do hasten in doing good things.Try to cherish yourself everyday. Life will definitely embrace you. 😊😇
I love the way that you give 2 different examples in a sentence.
I really appreciate your videos. Concise and extremely useful. Thank you😊
When I was asked about what we could improve in the classroom, I hasten to say that kids need the opportunity to move and play more.
This week I jeopardized my finances by quitting my job.
Last semester I shirked all my responsibilities at university.
Great examples!
Thanks a lot! My students loved it, and so do I! Cheers from Sevilla!
Great! Cheers from Asturias 🙂
As a teenager, I shirked my responsibilities and was always addicted to playing computer games. This hindered my academic performance. After my father passed away, I dreaded my family. I always cherished my father's memories. The only thing ahead was either thriving or surviving. My craving for computer games jeopardizes my life forward. To tackle that problem, I decided to hasten my knowledge of ethical hacking. Now the world embraces me with its warmth.
Thanks for such a useful and inspiring channel! Just a few examples from me:
1. The weak performance of the players jeopardised the chances of the team to win the match.

Excellent examples, Diana! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks a lot, Ben and Diana. I've just found out Ben's channel this morning and it seems so useful ! I'm a French student who will soon take an exam (in May). I only need a B2 level, but I want to dazzle the teacher who will correct my paper. In any case, I'm striving for that.
Thank you for your work
Thank you so much for this video! I liked it so much. Learning new verbs and vocabulary is always great.
I'm glad you liked it, Marcelo!
Excellent video, thank you🌞
Gosh, you've just given me a really good inspiration for expanding on verbs in particular. It was the verb to thrive that inspired me. Somehow I seemed to remember that the American Constitution or Declaration Of Independence used somewhere the formulation that every human being should thrive for the pursuit of happiness so I looked it up. Even though I found the article I didn't see the verb to thrive used anywhere but I did notice that the Declaration Of Independence is an excellent reference to expand on advanced verbs as it continuously talks about depriving people of their rights, longing for self-determination and other beautiful concepts.
Cảm ơn c ạ,hqua vừa nhận được thông báo là tập luôn bayh e đã đánh được r ạ,cảm ơn c nhiềuuuu❤❤️

Very useful!
The verb to tackle is, of course, an ice hockey term, too. In fact, my native language Finnish has incorporated the word in its vocabulary, and it can be used also metaphorically
in certain contexts.
Thanks a lot for your videos it is pleasure to learn with you
Thanks for your useful lesson, Ben! I've learned 2 new verbs: to shirk and to hasten. Thanksfully, the coronavirus situation is looking up in Spain. Since last week we don't have to wear a mask indoors anymore! :)

Hello, Ben! I am a new subscriber here and it looks like I am in a right place to improve my poor English! I’ve been thinking about it for ages and this is the time to tackle it, finally :) I would love to hasten my learning process here, but 2 years ago I embraced an opportunity to move to Portugal and right now I do my best to thrive as a Portuguese speaker. I hasten to add, that I know that learning two foreign languages at the same time could hinder my progress in both, but I am not going to jeopardise my achievements and put too much pressure on myself. I will try to buoy myself up and stave off burnout.
Thank you, Ben, for videos! I’ve never heard about these words and they seem super useful!
Great! Welcome 🙂

cherish is such a lovely word - it even sounds "cheerful". I wonder if that's because the first syllable reminds us of smiling since we say "cheese" and it sort of sounds like "cheerful". Thanks for a very helpful video.

Trivia : "To cherish" probably comes from the French "chérir" that means the same. "Mon/ma chéri(e)" (= my cherished) is the most common way to refer to your romantic partner (a bit like "darling" or "honey")
👍 interesting
Ben, the English teacher, noticed that some students would shirk their homework, which could hinder their progress in class. He dreaded the thought of his students not achieving their full potential, as he cherished seeing them thrive in their studies. He knew they craved knowledge and a sense of accomplishment. However, skipping assignments could jeopardize their success. Determined to help them, Ben decided to tackle this issue head-on. He would hasten his efforts to engage the students and embrace new teaching strategies to motivate them.

Some of them I met before but didn't understand the right meaning. For instance: Embrace - it's a discovery for me to understand it like enthusiastically accept it. I'm new here and now you have a new subscriber.
